I bought an AT&T wall phone CL2909 back in November [redacted]. Recently, I tried changing the 4 AA batteries following the instructions, but the display keeps showing "check batteries" whether I place them as shown in the photo or the opposite way. I'm using AA alkaline batteries and need guidance on how to insert them correctly to get the caller ID to display properly again.
