Like almost all consumer finance institutions, First Republic Bank offers online banking options that make handling your finances easier and more convenient. Among these are options for paying bills, adding payees and also deleting them. Their Bill Pay online is designed specifically for scheduling one-time and recurring payments and also deleting bill pay payees as needed. Here's how to handle deletions.
To access your online banking with First Republic Bank, you'll need to open your online banking account with the bank. You can do this either through their desktop site or through the downloadable mobile app for First Republic.
Once you've set up your digital banking profile, you can populate a list of payees by selecting them through the Bill Pay tab under AutoPay and other payment options for scheduled payments. These options will ask you to fill out required fields and also set your specific payment schedules.
To later delete any of these payees, you need to log into your digital banking account either on your desktop/laptop computer or through your First Republic mobile app and then tap or click on Bill Pay again.
Here you can individually select the payee or payees you want to delete from among the ones you've previously added. Once you select a payee you want to delete, tap or click their AutoPay link and then click or tap the Stop AutoPay option. You'll be asked to click Stop AutoPay one more time to confirm your cancellation.
For each payee in your payees list in Bill Pay, there will also be Edit and Delete options that you can use to completely delete a Payee or edit their details.
First Republic Bank also offers a customer support and information line at 888-408-0288. You can contact them for direct assistance in case of changes to the above instructions or other doubts.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
