What are some common misconceptions about bed bugs?

Asked 7 months ago
There are several common misconceptions about bed bugs that need clarification. Firstly, many people believe that bed bugs are only found in unsanitary places, but the truth is that they can infest any environment, regardless of cleanliness. Another misconception is that bed bugs are too small to see with the naked eye. Although they are tiny, they are still visible, especially in large infestations. Additionally, some people assume that bed bugs are only found in beds and bedding. While they do tend to nest in mattresses and upholstery, they can also hide in cracks, crevices, electrical outlets, and even clothing. Lastly, there is a misconception that bed bug bites only occur at night. While they are most active during nighttime, they can still bite during the day if they are hungry.
