I had an unsettling experience with a stylist named Nashay Shanaee. Upon arriving at her apartment for a hair appointment, she claimed I needed a different cap for the weave. She insisted we go to a nearby beauty supply store but I was skeptical as there weren't any in the vicinity. Feeling uneasy, I alerted the building security and retrieved my belongings before leaving in a cab. This practitioner's behavior was suspicious and potentially dangerous. It's important to raise awareness to prevent others from falling victim to similar schemes.

To whom it may concern, my name is Shevon J., a cosmetologist with over 15 years of experience. I recently signed up for your service for a 30-day free trial starting on June 7th. However, I was charged on June 8th instead of the agreed-upon date of July 8th. I have yet to use your service and am very disappointed by this experience. I expected a full 30-day trial period before any charges were incurred. I kindly request a customer service representative to reach out to me regarding this matter. I had a bad experience with a stylist I found on StyleSeat. I was charged $[redacted] without receiving any services. I tried to contact her through messages and the phone number provided on the site, but she never confirmed my appointment or provided the correct address. The phone number and address on her profile kept changing. When I confronted her about taking my money, she posted a disrespectful photo on the site. The original price was $65, but she changed it to $[redacted]. I never got the hairstyle done. I have involved my bank and the police in this matter. I reached out to StyleSeat multiple times, but they have not taken any action to remove her from the site or ensure she returns the money. My bank account is overdrawn because of this incident. I have evidence of our communication and would appreciate any assistance.

After my free 30-day trial ended, I tried to renew my account but kept getting redirected to an error page saying "something went wrong." I have appointments scheduled for this week that I urgently need access to. I mistakenly logged in with Facebook, thinking it was linked to my StyleSeat account, and unwittingly paid for the subscription, resulting in all my previous account information being lost. This has created a dilemma for my clients and my business, so I'm eager to receive assistance promptly as I seem to have paid for the wrong account because of this recurring error message.

I scheduled an appointment with a stylist at your establishment for braids. Initially, the stylist agreed to utilize a specific type of hair I preferred for the braids. With that assurance, I proceeded to book the appointment. However, less than 24 hours before the scheduled time (today), I received a text stating that the hair I provided cannot be used, and I must purchase a different type of hair. This situation is frustrating as I had confirmed in advance that my chosen hair could be used. Subsequently, when I requested a cancellation due to this sudden change, I was charged $[redacted] for a late cancellation, which was prompted by the stylist's miscommunication and tardy notification. I kindly seek your assistance in rectifying this matter. I had already paid a $40 deposit and now an additional $[redacted] due to the stylist's misrepresentation. When I attempted to address this with the stylist, she had already blocked my contact. Any guidance or support from your end would be greatly appreciated.

In January, I paid $[redacted] to Meagan J. for a microblading class. Unfortunately, the class was not what I expected. Meagan seemed to misrepresent the requirements for microblading in Texas. I later learned that the information she provided was inaccurate, as microblading is regulated under tattooing laws in Texas. She also suggested misleading practices regarding working out of her salon. Despite being charged for eyelash classes, I never attended any. After confirming with the Texas board of cosmetology, I discovered she was not licensed to teach. I have contacted my bank, Navy Federal, for assistance in getting a refund. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I booked an appointment through your service, but I canceled my last appointment with the stylist via email several days in advance. However, I keep receiving text and email reminders from StyleSeat for upcoming appointments that I did not schedule. I believe my personal information should be removed from your records as I will not be using the service again. I have already contacted the stylist about this, and I request that you cease using my information. I am concerned about potential charges for missed appointments that I did not book. Thank you. I am owed $[redacted] by StyleSeat for braiding clients' hair. A representative said there was no payout, which is unusual as this has never happened before. I am pregnant with twins and need this money. Please review my booking history with the clients: - Dorothy C. for $[redacted] - Gilia B. for $[redacted] - Janaya B. for $[redacted] - Tisha W. for $[redacted] The total is $[redacted]. I have attached booking dates and have video evidence of the clients not paying me directly. I don't want any issues with StyleSeat but I need my hard-earned money. Please investigate this matter.

I am confused about the delay in receiving my funds. Normally, the money is deposited the next day, but this time it is taking longer. Despite being aware of the weekend delay, the funds were anticipated by Monday 6/24. As of yesterday, the transaction was pending, and today, Tuesday 6/25, it is still pending, with an expected availability of tomorrow, 6/26. Will the deposit ever come through, or will it continue to be postponed? I require the funds today to pay my studio rent. If this issue persists, I may consider switching from StyleSeat. The promised next-day transfer should indeed be processed promptly. My immediate need for the money cannot be delayed.

Hello, I am Rozalyn Richardson. In August, there was a dispute regarding a double payment of $80 for 32 shades of braids done by Toya Taylor. I had paid her through Cash App, but my credit card was also charged by mistake. To rectify this, I filed a dispute and was informed by Toya that the issue was being addressed. My bank already gave me a provisional credit of $80, but I am unsure if you will also be crediting me back the same amount. I am seeking clarity on the status of this situation and any updates would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I'm reaching out regarding unexpected charges on my account from using StyleSeat. The website's navigation was challenging, leading me to accidentally sign up for a membership without noticing. My stylist, Rosalyn Hall, recommended the site, hence my usage. I kindly request a refund of $[redacted] since $35 has been deducted monthly from July to October on 7/30, 8/30, 10/02, and 10/29. My account was recently hacked, and a client was charged $[redacted]. I have already changed my password and initiated a refund to return the money. I am concerned that this incident may put my account in a negative balance. This has happened previously, and I want to ensure it does not occur again. I prefer not to store any client's card information to avoid such issues. Please contact me regarding this matter to discuss how we can prevent this in the future. Despite setting up my account not to require card information, it was still prompting clients to add a card for booking. I want to avoid this altogether and ensure that neither I nor any of my clients face similar problems.

I have multiple accounts for my business on StyleSeat that I need to consolidate. I want to keep the one under Profile Tonia Glamstylist and close the others. I am concerned about my clients being required to enter credit card information to book appointments. This has been an ongoing issue since October, and StyleSeat has not addressed it yet. I would like to keep using StyleSeat but I am frustrated with the lack of response and cooperation from the company. Please assist me with resolving these issues promptly. Thank you.

I was unexpectedly charged a 99-cent booking fee which caused an overdraft in my account. I always keep my appointments and shouldn't have been charged this fee. To resolve this issue, I am requesting a refund of the 99 cents and the $34 overdraft fee to be credited back to my card. This situation was quite uncalled for as I am a regular customer who doesn't cancel appointments.

I am not a stylist, but somehow my account got switched to a stylist account - I'm not sure how that happened. I would like to switch it back to a client account or reset it entirely. I recently realized I unknowingly signed up for a 30-day trial period and now I am unable to access my account to make any changes or cancel it through the app or website. My next attempt will be to create an account using Facebook. I also thought about using a different email to create a new account, but I am unsure if I can link it to the app.

I made a reservation at Chow Bella on 2/2/[redacted] for a silk press costing $65.00. During booking, a $32.50 deposit was taken via the App, with the reminder to be charged once the appointment was completed. Following the service, the merchant charged the full $65.00 instead of the remaining balance, resulting in a total payment of $97.50. I am seeking a refund of $32.50. Additionally, the merchant expressed unawareness of StyleSeat implementing deposit fees for customers.

I had an appointment scheduled with Nikki Dee at [redacted] Fruehauf Drive Building A, SUITE [redacted], Charlotte, NC [redacted] for 06/17/[redacted] at 8am. She canceled the appointment without giving a reason, not within the 24-hour notice period. I tried contacting Nikki Dee, but she did not respond. While I understand that booking fees are non-refundable when I cancel, I believe she should be spoken to regarding this issue to prevent it from happening again. It's important for stylists like her to understand that clients trust them with their credit card information to confirm appointments and adjust their schedules accordingly. It was unprofessional for her not to offer a reason for the cancellation or to try to reschedule. I hope she reaches out to apologize and that platforms like StyleSeat are aware of this behavior to prevent it from happening to other clients in the future.

Hello, my name is Alice Morgan. I had an appointment scheduled with beautician Chrissy Moton on Styleseat for Friday, 7/17/[redacted] for an extended ponytail. However, after speaking with Chrissy on Sunday, 7/28/20 at [redacted], she mentioned she couldn't do my hair due to my thinning edges. I noticed a $35.00 charge deducted from my account on Tuesday, 6/22/20 for a membership, even though I am not a member, I was just a client. Chrissy claims she never received the payment. Please refund the funds and I will delete my account. I only created it to schedule the appointment but didn't feel at ease about it. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this. I scheduled an appointment on July 30th with the stylist confirming it the same day. However, upon arriving at her home on August 1st at 9:00 am for my appointment, she informed me that she had only seen my message late the night before and couldn't accommodate appointments that quickly. I was surprised as I had used my credit card to secure the booking. Later in the afternoon, I received a text asking if I wanted to leave a tip, despite not receiving any service. The fact that the tip was manually entered makes me suspicious of her intentions. If StyleSeat allows such behavior from their service providers, I am deeply disappointed and will not be using their service in the future. I have all the evidence - emails, texts, and have informed my credit card company about the unjust charge.
