I contacted the healthcare provider for an appointment at 2 pm but the secretary insisted it was at 2:45. Despite repeating the time to Alison several times, the unnamed receptionist said she would confirm with Alison. Eventually, the appointment was changed to 2 pm as originally scheduled. No one informed me about the change, leaving me to inquire myself. When I asked the receptionist if she had spoken to Alison, she casually mentioned that my mother would be seen at 2. I questioned why she didn't apologize for the confusion or notify me directly about the adjustment, to which she callously replied that she didn't owe me an apology as these mistakes are common.
