I live in Mary's Woods in Lake Oswego, *****. The Oregonian is delivered to our community * days per week. Our personal subscription is delivered to our apartment * days per week. I called in to increase our subscription to * days per week the same amount of days the paper is delivered to our community. We pay $**.** for ** weeks on our current * day per week subscription. I just received an invoice, from a Mike MacDonald for $**.** per month for the three additional days per week. USA Today charges **.** per month for * days per week. I called your office and was told the Oregonian does not deliver * days per week. This is obviously not true since it is being delivered to our community * days per week. My question is what kind of scam is being pulled on me and the rest of the general public? The Oregonian shouldn't be telling the general public they don't deliver the paper * days per week when you do. You apparently just do it on an 'end around' basis through your carriers to scam extra money from the General Public. What would you do if you were me. Would a letter to the editor be appropriate to the Lake Oswego Review and Portland Tribune exposing this scam? Please tell me how I can correct this outrage. Dennis Miller
