Hello. My name is Craig Bussey and I am an instructor for AARP Driver Safety. Over the past few weeks, I have had several persons approach me about difficulty taking the Oregon Knowledge Test. Seems that some of the seniors are intimidated by the computer screen, and would like to know if there is a way that the knowledge test could be administrated manually. Believe me, I understand that DMV would like to transition towards a more efficient and electronic system of administering the tests, but let's face it, some folks don't seem to do well with electronic "gizmos". Is there any way that an applicant can request an accommodation to take a written knowledge test? If so, how would one go about requesting such an accommodation? If not, what alternative accommodations are there for folks who don't do well with computers? Thank you for your time. Regards, Craig Bussey
