The issue in GetHuman-mlschnab's own words
I first tried to set up a monthly payment with the IRS , But they sent me an e-mail message that there wouldn't be time to take out the first , so they told me to send them a check for $***.** $***.** would go for the first Payment and the $**.** would be for the set up Fee ,to set up the Automatic withdrawal .*So when I went into my checking account The IRS had Not taken the payment , So I called them Much to my surprise a Man Answered the Phone and I ask him why they hadn't taken the Payment and he checked on it and said he didn't know why , Because it was set up.....So he told me How to set it up for Automatic Payments through Official Payments ( OPC ) and they have been taking them out every month since . Now June *, *****Someone from **** Constitution Ave. Washington DC withdraws $***.** No name and the Credit union got a phone number ***-***-**** and it has been Disconnected....Then on June *, **** the $*.** Fee was taken out By **** San Ramon Valley B Michael Schnabel San Ramon, CA No Business Name on this either Credit union was not able to find out who this was either ....Then another payment on June *, **** was taken out for $***.** This time It said IRS USATAXPYMT no phone number ! These payments was made after OPC took the *-*-**** Installment of $***.** Confirmation Number ******* .....*I have payed * other $***.** Automatic Payments through OPC *-*-**** Confirmation Number ******* and *-*-**** Conformation Number ******* ... For some reason after OPC took my IRS Payment of $***.** and The $*.** Fee from My Credit Union Checking account , Some one From **** Constitution Ave Washington DC withdrew another $*** dollars and it Caused an Overdraft on my checking account I am ** years old and that other $***.** was to pay My Supplemental Health Ins. And My Life Ins. I have been trying to call the IRS, But Have never been able to talk to a Person So if I can talk to a per with OPC Please let me know and give me a phone number, I am Retired and on a fixed income and have no way to make up that $***.** so I need Some one to put it Back Until I can get this Straightened Out .....Thank you Michael L. They must not Realize that I am making automatic Payments through OPC that I was told to do so by a person at the IRS The first time I called them that was the only time I was able to connect with a Real Person .*Now Today *-*-**** I get a Letter From the IRS Saying I owe $***.** Amount is Due By June **, ****
I need * of * Places to quit taking the $***.** Automatic Withdrawal payment from my Checking account , There was only Suppose to be one Automatic Payment of $***.** per month plus the $*.** Service fee !
Tried to log into My IRS Account.........But since I just have a cheap cell phone They won't let me on my Account the said I have to have a land Line Phone or a Contract Phone to be allowed to Log into my Account. So I tried to call them (IRS) but never get to talk to a human !
