The most humiliating experience of my life and I cannot even get a response. I never complain and I see why I never have. It’s useless. **I was given these tickets to the dec. **th saints vs panthers for Father’s Day ****. So way before the season started. I had been told by several people that the Mercedes-Benz Superdome would accommodate me being in a wheelchair. I personally am a worrier and so I called them several times over the past few months to try and get some sort of confirmation. I did not want to risk coming here and not being able to watch the game. Also, the website says that they have ADA seating available and can only switch the ticket at the box office the day of the event. I did everything I could because they do NOT actually sell handicap accessible seating. So I came here nervous but still hopeful. All the stories I heard from other people sounded like it was always a great experience. We got here and were first in line. They first told us they had no handicap seats available. Then another lady took us to a handicap section which is where the first picture was this morning. (Amazing seats by **-yard line). Soon after we were told we couldn’t sit there and they made us move. I ended up talking to * people including a supervisor and was given all kinds of stories and excuses. The main ones were because it’s sold out there are no handicap seats available. (Only season ticket holders can have handicap seating they said). Also, a supervisor told me they changed the ADA rules last week. So I end up in the “free” lounge to watch the game on a tv screen. Very disappointed to say the least. Not only was this our first even *NFL game experience but the money I spent on the tickets is also a waste. So I was separated from my family. Treated like a piece of trash by the super dome employees. (EVen after game started they were empty spots where wheelchairs go and they still wouldn’t let me sit there.) I actually had a nervous breakdown and started crying in front of my family. This was my first nfl game experience and again the most humiliating experience in my ** years being disabled. I just want someone to acknowledge my issues. I have reached out every since the game and cannot get a simply reply.
