I tried quite a few times in the last ** days talking to the people at the Journal Sentinel with no success. ... I have been a loyal customer for more than ** years and until I turned ** with debilitating arthritis, knees that need replacing and some back surgical procedures that made my back worse, so it constantly hurts.*I have a Handicap permit for my car, I have a Hardship permit to have my garbage picked up and brought back from the street, and the US Mail service brings my mail to my kitchen door.*I used to have a paper carrier who would bring the paper to my kitchen door and I tipped him*her generously ($**). However, in the last * weeks, my paper has been put in my mailbox at the bottom of the drive and I can't physically walk down the drive (it's only about ** feet on a slight incline) to get the paper.*I'm asking that the carrier be informed to deliver my paper to my kitchen door. I have had the upper driveway asphalted and it's wide enough to allow even the mail truck to turn around. If the US Postal service drives up my drive, and the Milw. sanitation workers can walk up and down the drive (because of my Hardship Permit), I see no reason why the carrier can't bring the paper to my kitchen door too. *I have been willing to reward this helpful service with a good tip to do that. It has worked in the past and see no reason it can't continue.*I pay enough for my subscription and would like this not too troublesome drive up my drive to deliver my paper.*My name is Frank Lutz, ***** W. Mill Rd, *****. The phone number you have for me is ***-***-****, but I also have a cell phone you can call, ***-***-****.*My email address is ( *****@***.com ).*You can email me but I'd rather talk to a live person to try and resolve my problem.*Sincerely, Frank Lutz
I am handicapped and in constant pain so I cannot walk down to my mailbox to see if a paper is there, I've told all this many times to the Journal staff.
I want to get my paper everyday* that is what I'm paying for. Get the carrier to deliver it to the box next to my kitchen door a short drive up a slight hill and plenty of room to turn around.
I've been a loyal customer for over ** years and when the service is good, I do add a tip.
Nothing more than constantly trying to get the Milw. JournalSentinel to do what I'm paying for.
