change address, suppress marketing data. Now I want a refund on all magazines and I still want my personal data suppressed from marketing and promotional purposes. ... Hearst Media farmed out my subscriptions, refuse to cancel or refund , refuse to suppress marketing, no valid email for this company, no human to speak with, I will put my request in writing. I never subscribed to one of the magazines, and I will unsubscribe from every Hearst publication for their duplicitous practices and unctuous csrs. I wrote to their CEO and legal counsel. I don't need fashion advice from people who can't provide customer service. I don't need this nonsense, I'll read a book. I won't check the email address, I am putting this in writing to M* Media Group, Customer Service, (not an email address, hmmm?) PO Box *** Huron OH *****
Hearst corporation has lost a customer who read their magazines for more years than their CSRs have been alive. I wrote a letter to the CEO, the chief legal counsel, and David Carey of Hearst magazines. Behavioral economics forces print media to adapt or die. I am walking away from companies that don't understand market economics.
I want a refund, I want my personal data removed from their database (it will never happen) I want corporations to show integrity and put in all that fine print they have farmed out my subscriptions and let me make an informed decision as to whether or not I comply with their policies. I shouldn't have to be an attorney to read a privacy policy. I am opting out.
I'm no longer a customer, I will pursue my refund and never put any money into any Hearst Endeavor. I am the best customer bc I understand that I am the problem. So I am doing Hearst a favor and removing the burden from their corporation.
I wrote to Steven Swartz, CEO of Heast Publications, Eve Burton, Chief Legal Counsel, and David Carey of Hearst Magazines. I called M* media twice after two csrs at Hearst Magazine were rude beyond belief, insisting I did not understand their inability to do anything. My point. Which is why I wrote to the corporate office after months of being unable to fix subscription issues. I got a cute little card that said call **********. Hearst wants M* Media's "approval" to refund my checks? Letter to M* Media goes in the mail tomorrow bc is NOT a valid email address. M* media will never find me at the email address GetHuman insisted I provide. "This conversation is over." (Ask a lawyer, they'll explain.)
