Have worn a pair of "work boots" for six weeks, when the external skin syarted peeling...

Have worn a pair of "work boots" for six weeks, when the external skin syarted peeling like sunburn skin...the sole began to seperate from the shoeand now has no contact with the boot back to the heel...took them to Meijer to discus this awful wearing and fallig apart to which customer service told me that"by my own admission, I had worn the boots...and could do nothing for me. Two weeks later, I went back to Meijer and asked to see the store manager who I have dealt with before on some other issues...an "acting store manager"(whose picture is not on the wall of store leaders) came out and only could say that if Ihad the box and my receipt he would see if he could do anything...my last pair of boots I bought from Meijer (catapiller work boots) which I wore everyday for * *** years...read EVERYDAY for * *** years...were in better shape than these Lugz boots....I never expected $** boots to fall apart in less than two months...no, Ididnot find the box with the receipt in it that I had tried to keep together, so have not been able to produce said items...what I wanted was to return the "work boots" for store credit or my money back...after reading some of the comments on the customer ressponse site, I feel that I "am unlucky with this purchase"...which is somewhat ODD as ,in fact, I am a chimneysweepe of ** years...thought I would try writing in on this site before using the **** to talk with a live customer service representative...thank you...Robert Almstead...*****@***.com
