Dear Sirs**I recently logged in to start a new account and had a £*** limit which seemed fair. I bought a Sharp TV and set up payment by direct debit but must have made a mistake my end on my online banking by perhaps not pressing accept or something having set you up as a payee…. I got a message from you saying I had missed a payment which you will see I paid the day I was notified, it was the first monthly payment…. I see on my credit file that you had immediately registered not only a late payment notification but also you halved my credit available. As you can see from my account I amended the mistake with my bank and you received the full amount every month and the account was settled**I feel very upset that you took the above action because it has damage my credit report and I feel this was a massive over reaction before contacting me in person to give me the chance to sort this out. I have never known a company do this without contacting the client first. I am extremely disappointed because I have been making really good progress in repairing a credit rating that was poor because I had had some mental health issues many years back. This is my only black mark on my account now….. You must have recordings of my conversation with yourselves as i remember resolving it the same day. Now I cannot find a single telephone number, despite you listing a few ON YOUOR OWN WEBSITE which is even more frustrating**I implore somebody to ring me back or at least can you amend the late payment to a mistake, not because of any financial hardship as any further lenders might believe and also it would be nice if you could restore my original credit balance. I am not in any financial difficulties, on the contrary but feel very strongly that Littlewoods acted very aggressively towards me and now I am being penalised for it, probably for some many years if you cannot amend your records. I have bought things off you before, a sofa as I recall, many years ago again with no issue.**Please could you respond and give me a telephone number where I can actually speak to a human being?**Kind regards**Nick Esch
