On ******* at approximately *:**pm, after coming swimming, I had just stepped out of the shower and the door to the womens changing room from the pool entrance opened and a man came in. I was naked!!!! I quickly picked up my towel and told him he was in the wrong room. He looked perplexed then looked around and realized he was in the wrong dressing area. The man was of latin heritage and did not understand what I was saying. **I was absolutely flabbergasted as this same incident happened to me but a few weeks prior at another facility. I had not complained at that time as it was a single incident and the person was a young teen. But, due to this second incident I must now take a proactive approach. **I felt unsafe and uncomfortable and disgusted because I realized how vulnerable I was, naked inside a womens changing area unguarded and with a strange man standing in front of me.**Patrons must feel safe and comfortable. I was not!! **When someone opens the door to from the pool there is not even a curtain to block off the view. **It is very easy for someone to enter especially if English is not their primarily language because the locker rooms show small script in English only. What might help are clear visual distinctions, large and written on not only the entrances but on fhe actual glass door. Can also use colors to differentiate male female areas. I know we are in the times of gender affirmation, but there needs to be a safe mechanism to prevent people just walking into the wrong changing room.**I will appreciate a response from the corporation because this could have resulted in an unpleasant incident. I was vulnerable as I was alone and with no where out as the man was standing by the entrance. This incident opens a person potential threat of physical assult, molestation and rape. Lets not wate for an incident of same to occur.**Kindly trouble shoot ways to protect and imprive saftly inside the womens locker room. And in talking to another lady about what happened to me, she staing this was not the first time. According to her when she complained she was told nmby the pool staff that the patron possibly is new and did not know. This does not excuse the incident.**In my opinion all the doors could have gender specific writting in multiple languages neatly designed on the doors leading into thre locker room from the pool side. Additionally pool staff need to be attentive when people are leaving the pool area to ensure they enter the correct area. It only takes a minute to let a guard down, as evident what happened x* to me.**I want to feel safe. I want to be able to tidy myself without considering if a man is going to come in. **Certainly I appreciate a kind response to my communication and a positive action from the Corporate. **I spoke about this incident to the manager of the Lindenhurst, NY facility, Karen today. On the day of the incident I alerted a staff person called Skyler who was at the front desk.**I am appealing for a positive review.**Thank you for your time and consideration.
