I called Norwegian airlines to change my flight LAX to Rome ****** to which I was told I cannot do that without paying fees and we will loose our money if we cancel....online it states that Norwegian cancelled over ** European flights some of which were from Rome to LA and LA to Rome however, upon checking with Norwegian I was told that my particular flight taking place on April *rd has no changes and I cannot make any changes because the ticket I purchased is not flexible. So, I asked the gentleman on the line "let me understand this, we are in a state of emergency and you have cancelled and changed many flights but this one particular flight that I have purchased is not affected, can you explain why?" To which he stated, no, this is an internal thing that I cannot share." I feel that Norwegian is being ridiculous in that under these circumstances of a state of emergency they should either allow for changes or issue credit. My husband and I will be traveling without our children and do not wish to take the chance of being stranded in another country for an unknown period of time.
