Hi there, I just figured I’d reach out to you before making my reviews* complaints to the BBB* Yelp* etc. I am a big Evenflo “fan”. I recommend your products at the Mommy and Me class I run, as well as on my radio show on SiriusXM. After this situation, however, as much as it is not your fault as much as the seller you choose to use, it is hard for me to continue being a “fan”. I went to BuyBuyBaby specifically for a Evenflo Carseat. I go there and I asked a worker for it (I had the item up on my phone screen) and he went in the back and brought the item to the register, I paid for it, grabbed my bag and left. The whole way home I smell **** but I’m thinking it’s my daughter. I get home, change my daughter but hmmm no ****. Interesting. I then decide to open my new purchase, lifted it out of the bag and there was poo schmeared all over! It is on me at this point and I am LIVID. How did they not notice?! I go back to BuyBuyBaby and I was humiliated. I gave my receipt (which by the way was in the bag and also had **** on it) along with the item and I was told I made this mess and was trying to get over on them! Obviously these people took a return back and didn’t check it and I ended up with it OR someone had a messy baby right there in an aisle and it was used. Or maybe it was in the bag my item were put in, I do not know and actually don’t care. All I cared about is my being a Mom of an infant and can’t afford to lose that money and get nothing in return. In the end I left the store in tears, humiliated, leaving the item behind while a worker chased after me demanding I take it, I did not for three reasons... *) I was making a point. *) I was humiliated. *) I DID NOT WANT TO TOUCH IT EWWWW. So long story long a great customer was completely scammed out of your products and I hope you care. Going through BuyBuyBaby management did nothing to help me at all. Thanks for listening.
