I received a parking violation for parking in a "No Stopping" zone, but there were no visible signs or markings on the street indicating the restriction. I visited Griffith Observatory for the first time with my grandparents and mother that weekend. Seeing several cars parked along the road at the observatory, I assumed it was a designated parking area for visitors. I parked nearby to accommodate my less mobile grandpa, aiming to minimize his walking distance.

I recently received a car as a gift that was on non-operational status. I tried to transfer the title and pay for tags, but I could only transfer the car. A friend attempted to fix the car to pass the smog test, but got a parking ticket and left it unpaid, causing the car to sit in my driveway for about 8 months. Once I had it repaired, I went to pay for the ticket which was $[redacted] along with the tags. However, I was shocked to find out that the parking ticket had invalidated the non-op status, resulting in additional fees totaling $[redacted]. I was not pleased with this outcome, especially since the ticket wasn't mine, and there was a valid day pass in the car. Now, I am stressed dealing with this situation as I am about to start school next month. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I need assistance with two incorrect parking citations (citation numbers [redacted] and [redacted]): 1) There is an expired tags violation dated 7/23/22, however, my vehicle registration is valid until 04/08/23, as indicated on the notice. 2) The violation notice was sent to my residence address, which matches the city location where I received the ticket for preferred parking. Due to the lack of fines during the pandemic, I was unaware of the renewed enforcement, as non-resident cars parked on my street were not ticketed. I would have avoided parking there if I knew fines were being issued. Both citations are invalid. I would appreciate advice on resolving this issue promptly. Thank you.

During our trip to California in February, my son, Logan, and his girlfriend, Faythe, visited El Matador Beach. Unfortunately, Logan received a parking ticket that ended up in my name. He hasn't taken any action on it, and now I find myself facing a lien on my car. This situation is preventing me from obtaining my car tags in Colorado. I am struggling financially as I am on SSDI and simply cannot afford to pay for this ticket. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this matter. Thank you, Tanya TeKippe.
