I had brought my Arctic Cat to Barrie Power Sports on Jan ***** to fix my sled so that it can be fit for use.* *On the second day of my trip, my repaired Arctic Cat caught fire on my vacation trip and I was left stranded. Upon inspection, it looks like the fire started at the oil filter where the seal failed and sprayed oil all over the engine which caught fire. This ended my snowmobile trip and I had to have it towed off the trail and transported home. * *I had just picked up my Arctic Cat from Barrie Power Sports (BPS), an Authorized Arctic Cat Dealer in Barrie Ontario, * days earlier on Feb **, ****. BPS had performed repairs on my machine and it had changed my oil tank and filter. I reached out to BPS management and at first, the mechanic and management team seemed to be open to speaking with me but upon learning about the fire, I was asked by the owner to leave the premises and he didn’t want to speak about it. * *I have been extremely disappointed with this situation. BPS has been unprofessional in addressing an issue with its customer. I would have expected more from an authorized Arctic Cat dealer, BPS. As the BPS owner, I would have expected you to gather the facts to determine the correct course of action. Instead, you refuse to acknowledge the situation and resolve the issue with either faulty repairs and*or a faulty oil filter even though you took my money. * *My ask is simple. I would like BPS to give me the parts that were damaged from the fire: the hood, the oil filter and the headlights. I think this is fair since I had to cancel my trip and pay for the cost of towing my sled home, not to mention having to deal with the fire on the trail and posing a safety risk to me and others.* *I am hoping that BPS will do the right thing and make it right. * *I look forward to getting to an amicable resolution.**Sincerely,* * *Graham Skrzypczak
