I'm on my second RUSK Engineering W8less Professional [redacted] Watt Dryer. The first one lasted two years before flames appeared, which was concerning. Now, the one I bought in [redacted] is starting to smell burnt, making me worried it may short out. I clean the filter weekly and use it only four times a week on my short hair. Is it normal for RUSK products to last this short and potentially pose a safety hazard? Despite these issues, I adore the dryer and their hair products. Could you confirm if there's a warranty for the dryer? I truly appreciate your assistance in this matter. Thank you, Lori Q., from Lake Grove, NY.

As a hairdresser, I have been using Rusk products for 20 years and adore them. Recently, I was informed that Rusk Full Shampoo is being discontinued, which is disheartening. I am hoping to buy this shampoo in bulk if possible to stock up. The news about this shampoo being phased out is disappointing. I urge the company not to discontinue making Rusk mousse as it is essential for my work. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Colleen S.

I received an anti-curl treatment on September 30th, and within three days, I have noticed a significant hair loss of 25%. There is also breakage. This situation is alarming as I fear I might lose all my hair by the end of the year unless addressed promptly. My stylist is perplexed by this issue, and I have scheduled an appointment with my doctor to get a referral to a dermatologist for further evaluation. I am hopeful that Rusk will advise on the next steps to address this hair loss and scalp damage. I look forward to hearing from them about what actions can be taken to rectify the situation.

I have been a loyal user of Rusk products for years. However, in the last two years, I have encountered a recurring issue with the Rusk Hair Spray, both the regular and extra hold versions. It seems that after only one or two uses, the spray stops dispensing from the container. I have had to throw away multiple cans that were still mostly full, which is disappointing considering the cost of each can ranges from $14 to $18. While I appreciate your products, I can't continue to waste money on a faulty item. My husband and I rely on this hair spray daily, and we are both frustrated with the nozzle's poor performance. I have no complaints about other Rusk products, but this hair spray problem needs to be addressed. If this issue persists, we may have to switch to a different brand.

I bought Mousse from an Ulta Beauty store in Schenectady on 11/26/[redacted]. After using it once, it stopped working. When I tried to exchange it at Ulta without the receipt, they refused as they no longer stock the product. Despite providing my Discover card details for the purchase, I was not assisted after being disconnected twice during calls. I simply need a replacement for the defective mousse. Thank you for your assistance. - Patti.

Hello, I purchased this hairdryer from Amazon in [redacted]. I'm disappointed that it stopped working and smells like an electrical issue. Although it still blows heat, I'm worried it could be a fire hazard. Would you be willing to consider an exchange if I return the defective unit? I rarely use it and ensure proper maintenance. I have cheaper Conair dryers that have outlasted this one. I hope for a resolution and am willing to update my one-star review if you stand behind your product. Thank you.

I used the Rusk Step 2 on a client after using it successfully on two others to combat frizz. While the first two clients had no issues, my recent client claims her hair broke off an inch from the scalp. She hasn't sent me a photo as requested, and I did not notice significant breakage during the treatment. I followed the directions precisely - leaving it on for 15 minutes. Now, I'm unsure about the importance of using the Shine Keratin shampoo and conditioner, along with a lightweight keratin oil. My client typically uses Moroccan oil products. Additionally, she had colored her roots using both 20 and 30 vol recently. I've contacted the manufacturer for advice, and the client is hesitant to use the Rusk products as instructed. I aim to support my clients with frizz but lack formal training on this product. I hope to offer my client the best advice to improve her hair without further damage. Thank you for understanding my concerns.

Hello, I have been buying Rusk W8less hairsprays for years. Lately, the cans I purchased have been defective. They work initially, but then stop spraying after a few uses despite being full. This is frustrating as I'm spending $13.00 to $14.00 per can, and I end up throwing them out and opening a new one. I can't afford to keep replacing them. I enjoy your product, but if this continues, I may have to switch to another brand. I am seeking compensation for the last three faulty cans and would appreciate a response regarding this issue. Thank you.

I am searching for a product I've used for years but can't find anywhere. I suspect RUSK may have stopped making it. The item, Being Warped, was a water-based hair wax in a small orange jar. I've spent over three hundred dollars on alternative products without luck. I hope it hasn't been discontinued. If it has, I'd be interested in purchasing any remaining stock. Please reconsider if it was discontinued, as it was popular. I'm sure others feel the same way. Thank you. - Ellen M.

I have been a fan of Rusk extra strong hold hairspray for a while now, but I've noticed an issue with the last two cans I purchased. The spray isn't consistent, and instead of a fine mist, it comes out in a clump, resulting in a weaker hold than usual. I particularly enjoy the angled spray for ease of use due to my arthritis. I bought these cans at Salon Brands in Springfield, MO during a special promotion before Christmas. I'm unable to return them now that the promotion is over, so I'm reaching out for assistance on how to resolve this problem. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hello, My Rush W8less hair dryer recently burned out, unfortunately marking the second time this has happened to me. The first one lasted a bit longer despite only being used by me every other day. I purchased it from your store on 3/23/22. Can you please let me know what options for service you can offer me? I am quite disappointed by this turn of events. Thank you, Lind M. I have been using Rusk w8less plus hairspray for more than 8 years now. However, over the past 2 years, I have encountered issues with at least 10 cans where the spray stops working due to clogged or faulty sprayers. Considering the cost of nearly $20 per can, this recurring problem is unacceptable. I attempted to return 2 cans to Ulta, but since the others were given to me as gifts and the receipts were discarded, I was unable to get replacements. I have purchased Rusk products from various retailers like Target and Amazon. Despite contacting Ulta, Target, and Amazon, I was directed to reach out to Rusk directly. Currently, I have 4 cans that are not dispensing product properly, even though they are almost full. I have seen similar complaints from other customers who faced the same issue despite trying remedies like running the cans under hot water or storing them upside down. Unfortunately, these methods did not work for me either. I have sadly disposed of six cans, and the remaining three are also malfunctioning. Regrettably, unless this issue is addressed and resolved, I will not be purchasing this product again. This is disappointing as Rusk w8less plus hairspray used to be a reliable product. I am requesting that the faulty cans I currently have be replaced; this recurring problem does not reflect well on Rusk's reputation.
