I recently got a speeding ticket in Ohio for going 64 in a 55 zone. In Ohio, this ticket doesn't carry any points on the license. However, since I hold a PA license, I was informed that Ohio will notify PA so they can decide whether to assess points on my license. After doing some research online, it seems that back in [redacted], Pennsylvania did not assign points for minor violations like mine. I am wondering if this is still the current practice, or if I would end up with 2 points on my PA license as if I had gotten the ticket in Pennsylvania.

Hello, my name is Diane M. My driver's license number is [redacted]5. My birth date is 05/08/[redacted]. My Social Security number is [redacted] 60 [redacted]. I am reaching out regarding my suspended license from [redacted] to [redacted] due to traffic and moving violations. Since relocating to Las Vegas, NV, I am in need of my license to assist an elderly friend. I am caring for her and transportation is essential for her medical needs. I have documentation from Pennsylvania's magistrates office, PennDOT, and a letter from the lady I am assisting. If possible, I am seeking a lifted suspension or a restricted license for daytime use to accommodate my responsibilities. I am determined to move forward positively and getting my license reinstated is crucial for me to secure employment. Thank you for your time and understanding, I am eager for a resolution.

My husband forgot to print the Sentra registration when he processed it. On Oct 1, [redacted], we ordered a duplicate online for $6 due to a smudged printer. We then went to get it in Hbg. with two other unprinted registrations. At the DMV, we explained the situation within 2 hours of the online order but were told to wait 5 days for the duplicate. The staff seemed unsure about the process and insisted we pay $6 again or wait for the mail, although we were ordering within the 30-day limit for a free duplicate. In the end, we paid $18 for all three duplicates, feeling we were overcharged for the Sentra registration.

As an attorney, I represented an out-of-state driver from New Jersey in a summary judgment appeal in October [redacted]. The disposition was sent from the Bucks County court on October 16 and received by Penndot on October 17, [redacted]. However, Penndot has not forwarded the case's disposition to the New Jersey Motor Vehicles. As a result, the original violation remains on my client Evelyn Cardenes' record, instead of reflecting the change in Pennsylvania that would eliminate points in her home state. I am looking into why Penndot has not notified New Jersey Motor Vehicles. The appeal in question is SA[redacted]8 in the Court of Common Pleas of Bucks County. I am Solomon Weinstein, Esquire.

Six months ago, I was informed over the phone that my daughter's driver's test would be on March 29th at 4:00 p.m. After practicing for six months, we arrived on the scheduled day only to be told that tests are not conducted after 3:45 p.m. Unfortunately, no other testing slots were available until May, causing distress for my daughter who had prepared diligently. The lady assisting us was unhelpful and dismissive, leaving my daughter in tears. I cannot understand why she couldn't make an exception and conduct one more test since it was just 3:45 p.m. I am upset by this situation and the lack of flexibility displayed by the testing center.

I received a summons on either June 28th or 29th, [redacted], which resulted in three points being added to my driving license. Both the judge and the police officer assured me that these points would be removed from my 40-year spotless driving record after one year if there were no further infractions, which has been the case. However, over a year and a half later, the infraction is still on my record, causing my insurance rates to increase significantly. This unexpected rise in premiums is putting a strain on my finances, especially since I am on Social Security. I attempted to renew my insurance at a lower rate recently, only to discover that the infraction was still present on my record. The extra $[redacted] per year I am now paying is unsustainable for me. I am reaching out for assistance as this situation is unjust given that the specified time period has elapsed and my record should be clean. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, M. Dorfman

I submitted Form MV-[redacted] (7-19) to request a duplicate motorcycle vehicle title. It was sent via registered mail to the PA Department of Transportation, Bureau of Motor Vehicles at P.O. Box [redacted], Harrisburg, PA 17[redacted]. The tracking information confirms delivery on July 24, [redacted], at 10:34 AM. I included all required documents for mailing to an out-of-state address, such as a copy of my out-of-state license, a utility bill, and the $55 fee. Despite it being over a month, I have not yet received the duplicate title. I am eager to obtain my motorcycle vehicle title promptly. I have made multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach out via phone on six separate occasions. I kindly request guidance on alternative methods to contact PennDot to assist with resolving this issue. Thank you.

I'm having trouble getting a clear answer to my inquiry. I recently received a letter informing me that I need to undergo a driving skills test to maintain my Class A license. The letter stipulates that the test must be taken in a vehicle corresponding to the class of my license. I have a Class A endorsement and provided a self-certification for my medical status, ensuring my license is valid with no suspensions or revocations. However, an email from DMV representative, Mary Ann Matesich, stated that I need to take the test in a car. This contradicts the information in my letter. I have the test scheduled for tomorrow and would appreciate clarification on this matter.

I recently received a letter from PennDOT informing me that my driver privileges would be suspended by December 22, [redacted], due to an unpaid out-of-state ticket. I have already paid the ticket and now need to provide proof to PennDOT to avoid the suspension. Can someone advise me on the best way to submit this proof and rectify the situation? Thank you for your assistance.

I need help reinstating my license, which was suspended in [redacted]. Following an accident in [redacted] with an uninsured car and lacking insurance details or court notifications until [redacted], I was surprised to receive a suspension notice from the Virginia DMV even though I was not a resident there. Months later, Pennsylvania Penndot also notified me of the suspension. I believe the vehicle owner is responsible for any payments as I was not at fault in the accident caused by another driver texting and running a stop sign. The vehicle I drove was said to be totaled, yet the officer allowed me to drive it to Pennsylvania with severe damage. It is puzzling that I wasn't informed about the lack of insurance at the accident scene, and the vehicle was not impounded immediately.

My name is Kristopher William Holtz, and I hold driver's license number [redacted]. I applied for and received an occupational limited license but have not received any further information. I believed my driver's license was valid for travel to work until my suspension ends on March 25th, [redacted]. Recently, when I was stopped by the police, I was not informed of any issues with my license. After reviewing my restoration requirements letter, I have sent the necessary documents and wish to verify if anything else is needed to reinstate my license. I hope to avoid a lengthy additional wait as the initial suspension was due to my lack of awareness of a previous 90-day suspension in [redacted]. I request the reinstatement of my driver's license on March 25th, [redacted]. Thank you and God bless you. -Kristopher Holtz

I had my handicapped placard renewal submitted by my state representative's office through a courier a few weeks back. I recently received a letter mentioning that the placard and card have been sent, but I haven't received the placard yet. The placard number is H05182P, valid until 09/[redacted]. I have been eagerly awaiting the placard as it is essential for me due to mobility issues. The waiting time has caused inconvenience, making me park far away multiple times. I hope to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you for addressing this concern. Donna M. Israel [redacted] Ditman Street - B8 Philadelphia, PA [redacted]
