My name is Li Chen and my policy number is [redacted]-19-34. I have home insurance and three cars insured through Farmers Insurance. Recently, on May 27, [redacted], I was rear-ended on my way to work on the freeway. The owner of the vehicle that hit me, insured by Progressive Insurance, is not accepting responsibility for the damage to my Toyota Prius. I have hired an attorney to handle this case. Following the accident, I sustained whiplash and am currently receiving treatment from a chiropractor. My car remains damaged and is being stored at SCR Collision in Hayward. Although I originally had full coverage on my [redacted] Toyota Prius, it was unknowingly removed when adding my minor son's car to our insurance plan. This was a misunderstanding, and I was not notified of this change. I seek assistance and support for my current situation and the car accident.

Meyer. Despite follow-up emails on June 8 and after, there has been a lack of communication. Farmer's alleged mishandling of the claim after acquiring Metlife, particularly regarding negotiations and appointing an appraiser within the specified time frame, is a point of contention. Following failed communication attempts, including addressing depreciation, overhead costs, additional expenses, and bringing the insured back to pre-loss condition, further action may be taken if the appraiser is not named by June 24, [redacted]. Recently, my landlord had a flood in the building which required drying out and construction right outside my rented business room. Despite this disruptive situation, my landlord still expected me to pay rent for the weeks it has been ongoing. This is concerning as I am unable to conduct business appropriately given the noise, mess, and potential safety hazards that the ongoing construction poses in front of my door. Not only was the area not properly contained, but dust from the construction constantly entered my room. I have documented proof of the condition with pictures. I believe my landlord did not handle this situation correctly, especially as it impacts my ability to bring in clients as mandated by state board requirements.
