I am curious about the absence of Del Monte tomato sauce from supermarket shelves. Del Monte is a brand I have always trusted, and my mother did the same. Their tomato sauce is unmatched, and I, as a discerning senior, value quality food. Del Monte products, especially their sauce, hold a special place in my recipes. I use it in various dishes like stews, marinades for BBQ, and homemade soups. To me, meatloaf isn't complete without Del Monte tomato sauce.

I recently purchased a 40 oz (1.13kg) Heart of Watermelon with the manufacturer number 17[redacted]8, Lot number 1[redacted] for $8.99 from Foodlion #[redacted] in Albemarle, NC. Unfortunately, upon opening the package, I found trash and what appeared to be feces in the bottom of the tray. This is unacceptable quality control for fresh products from such a major company. As a 73-year-old customer, I am disappointed and will no longer support any of your brands. This issue needs to be addressed by your production management team. How could such a thing be sent out to consumers? I expect a response to this matter promptly.

I wanted to share a recent experience with Del Monte products. My mother has been a loyal customer, and I followed her lead. Unfortunately, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of their items.
Recently, I opened a large can of Fruit Cocktail and was shocked to find discolored, squished fruits along with a large pit. The thought of accidentally biting into it was unsettling. We had to discard the entire contents due to the poor condition.
Similarly, last night I opened a small can of sweet peas only to discover what looked like a twig inside. Disgusted, I disposed of it immediately.
In response, I took photos of both cans and their contents as evidence of the subpar quality.
We rely on canned goods due to my husband's digestive issues, which make them easier to digest than fresh produce. I am keen on providing Del Monte with these images to address the lack of quality control.
I believe it's crucial for Del Monte to see the physical evidence rather than just discussing it over the phone. I am certain other consumers may have faced similar issues with their products.

I recently received a green pineapple from a giveaway. I was surprised by its deep green color, almost like a forest green. I understand that it's not ripe yet. I don't have a paper bag, so I'm unsure if using a plastic bag will have the same effect. What concerns me is the tag on the top advising to serve immediately. I prefer to wait until it ripens for a sweeter taste. I believe providing information on why pineapples are shipped unripe and how to properly ripen them on a website would be more helpful than suggesting immediate consumption. This change could prevent any confusion and dissatisfaction among customers.

I am displeased by the quality of a tin of your pears in light syrup that I purchased for home delivery. The pears contained bits of peel, a brown part of a stalk, and were stringy. As a regular consumer of this product, I am disappointed. Lately, the pears in juice have been hard but edible, whereas this experience was worse. I have bought multiple tins, worried that the others may have similar issues from the same batch. I understand these incidents can happen, and due to my Crohn's Disease, I must be cautious. I will need to remove the offending parts and consume the rest. I am unsure how to resolve this without knowing the condition of the other tins, but typically a refund would be appropriate. I previously raised a complaint about the hard fruits in your tins of fruit cocktail. I provided the codes from the tins, and a goodwill voucher was promised, but I have not received it yet.
