I want to thank you for providing a means for me to voice my concerns. I received a Corkcicle Canteen (Copper finish) as a gift back in April [redacted]. I loved using it and brought it with me on a 6-month retreat in Spain. However, after washing it once with a soft sponge and some dish soap, the paint began to peel off. I stopped washing it and tried again when I returned home at the end of October, but the same issue occurred. Despite being very gentle while cleaning it, the paint continued to peel off, leaving a rough, uneven texture and a blotchy look. I sent in a warranty claim with photos of the canteen, but I couldn't provide a purchase receipt as it was a gift. I recently received a standard letter from Sarah Taormina stating that they are unable to replace the product for free. I was disappointed with this response on several levels and have reached out for further explanation but have not received a reply yet. I am hoping for an acknowledgment of the fault, an investigation, a replacement canteen, and an assurance that the issue won't happen again with the new canteen. I adored my champagne flutes, but I am extremely disappointed with the $40 Hybrid Canteen I bought from Corkcicle last Friday. I filled it with four large ice cubes and chilled water from my fridge last Saturday morning for a four-hour event, only to find that my water was barely chilled after two hours! This is unacceptable! What's worse, you apparently need their approval before returning a product! Despite reaching out to them twice through the website and once via email from Saturday to Wednesday, I have received no response whatsoever - not even an acknowledgment of my attempts to contact them.

I purchased a Corkcicle thermos from Amazon, and sadly, it arrived with dents in the cap. I only need a replacement cap but Amazon insisted on returning the entire bottle. When I reached out to your company, I was directed back to Amazon, which seems wasteful. I even offered to pay the $4.95 and asked if your company could ship it for free. It's frustrating to encounter such difficulties. Couldn't you have simply agreed to send a new lid? Now, I have to travel over 30 miles to take it to a UPS store. 😞
