I worked at the Lubbock, TX call center for approximately 7 months. I experienced various domestic problems during that time, resulting in excessive absences from work. Due to surpassing the point system thresholds, I felt it was best to resign before facing termination. Thankfully, I've resolved those personal issues and am in a better place now. I am eager to return to work and would like to know if I am eligible for rehire. Please advise me on when I can submit a new application. Thank you for your assistance. - J. W.

I am Sandria Brown, a former colleague at Convergys/Concentric until recently. I was let go on Monday after asking someone to save me a seat, a common practice in the office. Unfortunately, the person who saved my spot did not properly clock me in on e-start, resulting in a misunderstanding on the auto punch system. Both of us were dismissed for this incident. I am concerned because now team leaders are spreading the news about our termination, which I believe breaches confidentiality. I would like to appeal this decision. My name is Sandria and I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed.

I am Santhosh Mahajan from the Information Security team, and the entire team was laid off on February 21, [redacted]. My employee ID is [redacted]05. According to discussions with HR and my manager Brian Wehking, I had resigned on January 20 before the team was laid off on February 21. As a result, my access has been revoked, and now that I've found a new job, I requested my experience letter. However, HR mentioned that I didn't complete my notice period, and they are asking for a payment of [redacted]. I'm puzzled why I have to make this payment and need a prompt response as I'm running out of time to submit my experience letter. This delay could harm my career prospects, and I've even contacted a lawyer for legal advice. This situation is causing me immense distress, especially considering the challenges many of my colleagues are facing in securing new employment. I have attempted calling multiple times without success.

Dear Forum Members, I wanted to share a recent experience that I had with a digging company sent by Convergys in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. They arrived at our parking lot at Amoy Auto Parts and Construction Supply in Kabankalan City without contacting us first, leaving large holes. When I inquired with one of their personnel, Mr. Villanueva, he mentioned that their engineer had chosen our parking lot without permission. I requested Mr. Villanueva's contact information and papers authorizing the digging, but despite his initial agreement on July 27, [redacted], I did not receive any documents the next day. To my surprise, on July 28, [redacted], the digging continued despite my attempts to stop them. The noise even disrupted our sleep, and despite my warnings about the bedrooms being on the second floor, the crew carried on. Unfortunately, Mr. Villanueva did not provide the promised contact information or necessary permits. This unauthorized digging has caused distress and I feel the need to involve legal action. I urge for an investigation into Convergys and this digging company's behavior. Thank you, Roland Wee Amoy Auto Parts and Construction Supply, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Philippines
