I would like to file a complaint about my recent visit to Applebee’s. My server was very unprofessional and failed to provide the necessary service. I requested a to-go box and the check, but he never returned to our table. I ended up having to pay via the tableside device and left most of my food behind due to his negligence. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so I was puzzled by his behavior. While other servers tended to their customers, ours neglected us. I feel I am owed a refund for the inconvenience and the uneaten food.

I ordered carry-out by phone and was told it would be ready by 9:30pm. However, it was not ready until 9:45pm, and part of the order was incorrect. While waiting, I noticed my sauce was missing. When I requested it, I spoke to a former student working there. A bartender named Stewart rudely asked us to move, but I shifted to the wall while chatting with the young lady. Despite his repeated interruptions, the other manager fixed my order without addressing Stewart's behavior. Another former student who was a cook apologized for the incident, gave me my food, and escorted me out. Although the servers and cook apologized, the manager did not acknowledge the situation. I am disappointed with the service, witnessed food safety issues, and encountered a rude manager, so I request to speak with the district manager regarding these incidents.

I recently visited Applebee’s in Duluth, Georgia on Pleasant Hill Rd for lunch. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with the host who rudely greeted me and accidentally bumped into me without apologizing. The situation escalated when the host, Tyshawn, started discussing personal issues like his rent loudly at the bar. Despite speaking with the manager about the incident, Tyshawn did not apologize and continued to act unprofessionally. As a Project Manager/Supervisor, I understand the importance of professionalism and was disappointed by the lack of response from the manager. I have reached out to corporate to address this matter further.

I recently dined at the Owatonna Applebee’s on November 10th and have some feedback to share. Firstly, as a vegetarian, I found the menu options lacking variety, which is a general observation rather than a complaint from this visit. However, my main concern pertains to the customer service we received during this special meal outing with my mom, who requires a walker.
Although we were seated a bit further away due to the location near a ramp, I expected attentive service being close to the waitress stand. Unfortunately, our server seemed preoccupied, even vacuuming beneath our table while we dined, causing delays in taking our order and receiving assistance. The soup was not adequately warm, and the pasta arrived cold, which was unexpected given our previous positive experiences at Applebee’s for special occasions.
Despite our disappointment, we may not return due to the subpar service and issues with the quality of our meal. The total bill of $35 was significant for my mom on a tight budget. I hope to receive acknowledgment for our experience and possibly a gesture for a future visit. It’s crucial to emphasize the importance of attentive customer service and avoid disruptive activities like vacuuming near diners in the future, as it made us feel unwelcome and discouraged us from enjoying dessert.

During my recent visit to Applebee’s in Jenkintown on Saturday night, my friends and I experienced racial profiling and dealt with a waitress named Rebecca who got our entire order wrong. The situation escalated when the manager, an older Caucasian woman, confronted us at the bar. Despite my efforts to address the order mix-up calmly, the manager rudely removed our drinks and food and insisted that we leave. When I challenged her actions and requested police intervention due to feeling racially profiled, she falsely accused me of pulling out a knife. This led to a distressing encounter with the police. I have filed a report and plan to take legal action against the manager for her false accusations. I am determined to address unfair treatment of people of color at establishments like yours. During my recent visit to Applebee's, I encountered an issue with the tablet used for payment at the table. Consequently, my server, Maliek, offered to process my payment at the bar using my card. Upon Maliek's return, I noticed my card was visibly cracked and nearly split in two. When I brought this to Maliek's attention, he denied any responsibility for the damage. Disappointed by the lack of accountability, I spoke to the manager Steve, but unfortunately, he was unhelpful and did not provide a satisfactory resolution. Despite offering a $20 discount on my bill, Steve failed to acknowledge or apologize for the damage to my card. His defensive and disrespectful attitude left me displeased with the overall service at Applebee's, a place I frequently patronize. Regrettably, I do not plan to revisit any Applebee's locations in the future. I hope for an apology from Steve and believe that the management team would benefit from training on handling customer concerns with more empathy and professionalism.

I placed an online order and was told it would be ready at 5:02 pm. I arrived at 5, but only got my food around 30 minutes later because they were short-staffed with just one cook. I asked for a discount, but the server said the manager declined. Despite the delay, I tipped the server as it wasn't her fault. I did receive two extra breadsticks, but my oriental chicken salad was soggy and my Caesar salad had croutons even though I requested none. It would have been better if they informed me about the delay upfront. Two other customers also experienced long waits.

During our visit to the New Braunfels Applebee’s last Thursday, we decided to try the 2 appetizers for $10+ deal along with a side salad. We were disappointed with what we received. The onion rings and chicken tacos were lacking - only 3 tacos instead of 4 and there were only 5 onion rings, with one being extremely tiny. This felt like a poor value, especially at $1 per onion ring. On a positive note, the side salad was enjoyable. As winter Texans who visit this Applebee’s often, this experience has left us feeling unsatisfied. We are unlikely to return in the future unless this issue is addressed, possibly with some form of financial compensation.

I visited Margate Restaurant on 12/7/[redacted] and ordered the rib dinner 2 for $26 and the chicken tenders 2 for $20, both coming with a salad. However, I noticed on my bill that I was charged $4.79 for one salad. I paid the total bill but would like to understand why the additional charge was applied. This occurred at the Margate location on West Atlantic Blvd.

While working out of town, my three employees and I visited Applebee's in Pekin, Illinois. Despite informing the waitress that we did not want any appetizers, two of my team members requested side orders of onion rings. Unfortunately, the server brought us full-size plates of onion rings instead of the sides we ordered. I only realized the mistake when the bill arrived, showing the higher total due to the unwanted appetizers. The waitress rushed the payment process with a handheld credit card scanner, making it difficult for me to address the issue. I am seeking a refund for the mistakenly ordered appetizers priced at $8.99 each before tax. The inflated bill also affected the tip I left. With the excess food we couldn't finish, having leftovers while working away from home was not convenient.

Food Menu Derrald Banz is seeking breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu options that won't trigger heartburn, as he's been relying on Prilosec to help alleviate it. Although Prilosec has improved his life, he's experienced severe side effects. Derrald is on the lookout for new meal possibilities to continue dining at your restaurant without discomfort. His work requires frequent travel, and he's keen to maintain his dining habits despite needing to adjust his diet. He's open to any menu suggestions to ensure he can still enjoy meals at your establishment. Thank you, Derrald Banz

My family and I visited the Applebee's in Orangeburg, South Carolina on December 22, [redacted]. It was a disappointing experience. They were out of ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, and even one of the chicken options. The steak, shrimp, and chicken fajita plate my daughter ordered had hard, dried-out rice. I requested cheesy broccoli but received regular broccoli, with just a sprinkle of unmelted cheese on top. The service was lacking, with minimal drink refills. Despite mentioning a complimentary appetizer, it was included on the bill. The ice in our tea had already melted by the time we were served. Our overall visit was a letdown after driving half an hour to reach the restaurant.

Upon entering, the hostess seemed annoyed when we requested a booth. After waiting for our drinks, our order was taken, but the service continued to disappoint. Despite the restaurant not being busy and many servers being present, we experienced numerous errors. My 3 for $12 appetizers were incorrect, and the hot boneless wings I ordered were replaced with bbq. Although the steak fajitas mistake was understandable, the recurring errors were frustrating. Even after requesting extra ranch, it was never brought. In the end, we settled for a to-go box and left, still leaving a tip. The lack of attention to detail and multiple mistakes made our dining experience unsatisfactory.

I ordered food for pick up at Applebee's, but when I arrived, both designated pick up parking spots were taken. I parked further away and walked inside. On the way, I noticed a family who had parked in the pick up spot, went in ahead of me, and got seated. Despite mentioning this to the bar staff, they dismissed it saying "people are weird." This experience was inconvenient as we had to walk in the cold while people dining in could park closer. We are regular customers of Applebee's, but after this incident, we are reconsidering. The take out server's response to our concern was also disappointing. We value good customer service and find this whole situation unacceptable.

I would like to bring to your attention issues at the Durant, Oklahoma branch. My partner, a server there, had her keys stolen from the host box. The manager, Tyler, didn't check the security footage until the authorities were involved, leaving her without transportation. On top of that, the other manager, Bert, is scheduling her for double shifts even though she's already working full-time and is a college student without reliable transportation. There's also a concerning incident where another server burnt his hand on a skillet and was not allowed to leave work until finding a replacement, despite needing medical attention. These situations need to be addressed promptly to ensure the safety and well-being of your employees before further action is taken.

Upon entering, I had to wait for the host before being seated with my son. Upon ordering drinks, there was a delay. Despite ordering a margarita, I received potato soup with ham, which was remade correctly. However, the rest of my order came out incorrect. I ordered a shrimp and Parmesan sirloin with specific sides, but my steak was overcooked with different toppings. Even after requesting a redo, the order was still incorrect. The manager, an older black lady, seemed unprofessional and blamed the server for the mistakes. Despite being the only customer in that section, she handled the situation poorly, even taking a plate away from my 18-month-old son while he was eating. I had to involve the authorities and leave due to the disrespectful behavior. I am extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning to Applebee's.

My fiancee works at Applebee's as a dedicated employee. However, I no longer feel comfortable dining at the restaurant because of the rude behavior of the General Manager, Jason. He rushes me out whenever I visit, treats us unfairly, and seems to discriminate against my fiancee for being a lesbian. This behavior is unacceptable, as we have not encountered any issues with other managers. I am disappointed in the way we have been treated and am considering taking legal action for discrimination. My fiancee is contemplating transferring because of Jason's actions. We hope to see a resolution to these problems soon. Thank you for your attention. The Applebee's in question is located in Seaford, Delaware, operated by the Rose group.

I am requesting a refund for food that was supposed to be delivered on Sunday, 1/2/20, at 4:40 pm but never arrived. I contacted Applebee's at 5:05 pm as they claimed in an email that the food had been delivered at 4:40 pm. We were waiting outside but no one showed up. After calling, Applebee's mentioned it was delivered and would check with the delivery driver. No one called back, even after we left briefly to eat elsewhere with my grandkids. Upon returning, no update was provided. I called again at 8:05 pm, and they said the delivery driver didn't answer calls, advising me to contact corporate for a refund. I'm frustrated. Checking my bank account, I see the charges already deducted. If I stop payment, the bank will charge $31, plus the food cost of $65.04. I need assistance with this situation.

I recently dined at Applebee's and was quite disappointed. It had been a while since my last visit and I don't think I'll be returning. I ordered the riblets plate as part of the 2 for $20 deal, as did my dad. I opted to pay $2 more for the platter, hoping for more riblets, but was informed by the waitress that it only included an extra side, not riblets. When my meal arrived, I was shocked to find that it only had two riblets, one of which was significantly smaller than usual. I usually receive 4 or 5 riblets, so this was a letdown. To make matters worse, the riblets were not hot. The waitress didn't attempt to rectify the situation, only offering a free dessert. It's disheartening to see cost being prioritized over quality, with smaller portions and lukewarm food, which is why I may not dine at Applebee's again. Thank you for your attention. - D.H.

I am seeking a refund from Applebee's due to a disappointing dining experience. My husband and I, who are on a fixed income and rarely dine out, decided to treat ourselves on Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, the meal was far from satisfactory. My husband's ribs were mostly sauce with little meat, and my fish portion was minuscule with cold fries. The coleslaw seemed old, and I have been experiencing digestive issues since eating there, prompting a doctor's visit. Despite addressing the issue with the waitress and making multiple calls to both the restaurant and home office, there has been no resolution. The $42 we spent on this unpleasant meal is quite costly given the circumstances. I am hoping for a prompt resolution to this matter, as further action may be necessary. This message is directed to the appropriate party for attention.
