What should I do in case of a power outage?

Asked 7 months ago
In case of a power outage, you should first check your circuit breakers or fuses to rule out any issues within your home. If there are no problems on your end, report the outage to your utility company. Avoid opening the refrigerator or freezer to preserve food. Use flashlights instead of candles for safety. Stay updated on restoration efforts through the utility's website or social media. If you rely on electrically powered medical equipment, have a backup plan in place. And most importantly, stay away from downed power lines and report any hazardous conditions to your utility company.
