One More Way to Complain to Airlines

HomeConsumer blogJan 2010One More Way to Complain to Airlines
Yesterday, The Department of Transportation released a new website to report any terrible airline experiences a customer might have. The Department issued the following statement "This updated web site is part of our ongoing effort to improve resources for consumers and ensure that airline passengers are treated fairly when they fly... We want to make it as easy as possible for consumers to find the information they need to make their air travel experience as smooth and hassle-free as possible"

Gethuman wants to clarify that this may not be the most effective approach to take if a airline like US Airways loses your bag, or cancels your flight home. That's what the Gethuman community can help you get through. What we do think the Department of Transportation is trying to do is allow customer feedback to help identify repeat issues, make quantitative conclusions about them, give them proper attention, propose remedial legislation, and consider new rules or ways to redraft the old ones.
