I just recently set up my Roth IRA, and I added my Dad's checking account as an external account for transferring money. When I selected the option to verify the external account, a restriction was placed on my account, which said that I needed to speak with you to remove it. Also, I purchased $**** worth of mutual funds thinking that the money would go through, but now I have a cash call that is due today for my account, but I cant pay it because it will take up to * days for the account to be verified. Please help remove the restriction on my account and advise me on what can be done about the cash call.
