I am disappointed with my experience on eHarmony. I signed up on May 17 and have been using it for about a month. When I tried online dating on Match.com for a year, I would receive an average of six messages daily. However, on eHarmony, I have only received three messages in the entire month. Most member pictures are blurred, and those that are clear do not match my preferences set in my profile and quiz. The contact phone numbers on the website turned out to be invalid. I am frustrated and seeking a refund. I would not recommend this site to others. Although I understand you are not affiliated with eHarmony, I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you, Kay Kahoun.

I received a fraud alert email from my credit card company about a $[redacted].72 eharmony charge on July 1, [redacted], to Discover card ending in [redacted]. I believed I had canceled my account in Jan or Feb after a short experience with your service. I have tried to call your customer service numbers for nearly an hour with no success, only getting busy signals. I would appreciate your assistance in getting a refund for the $[redacted].72. The credit card has been canceled due to fraudulent charges. Thank you for your help in resolving this issue. Kathryn B.

I joined eharmony on July 18th, hoping for a 3-month subscription. However, when I checked the next day, I saw that I was charged $[redacted].75 for a 2-year subscription without my consent. They did not ask me to choose a period or inform me of the amount. I am unable to get a refund because I do not reside in one of the states where they offer refunds. I feel this is deceitful behavior and a scam.

I am requesting the immediate removal of my bank card ending in [redacted] from your withdrawals. Despite attempting to reach out through all provided phone numbers and email addresses, I have been unable to establish contact. Upon trying to email, I was informed that due to not having an account with you, assistance could not be provided. It has come to my attention that you have been debiting funds from my Wells Fargo Bank debit card without my authorization. Please review your records, as I am not a customer and have not authorized any transactions. In compliance with my attorney's advice, I demand that you cease withdrawals from my account promptly. Failure to do so will result in legal action. This marks my third attempt to communicate with you regarding this matter.

I have been attempting to contact your company but have not received any response. Eharmony, once known as a reputable company, seems to be facing issues that have affected its customer service. Unauthorized monthly charges of $[redacted].00 have been deducted from my PayPal account, which does not align with the original agreement I made for a yearly membership fee. I have already reported this to my bank, Wells Fargo. Despite several attempts to cancel my membership, including online, it appears to have been ignored. The lack of responsiveness, low reviews, and unprofessional practices have led me to lose trust in Eharmony. Please escalate this matter to a manager for resolution. I am requesting a refund and immediate cancellation of my membership. It is disappointing that there is no way to speak with a representative, even after the company's relocation to Seattle.

Please either refund the fee in full or prorate it if the service was used from June onwards. I can be contacted on my cell phone at [redacted]. Reference: Incident # [redacted]44 I am writing in response to your latest communication regarding your concerns. In reviewing your case, it appears there has been a misunderstanding. According to our records, you indeed purchased a 12-month plan for $[redacted].28, which reflected a 40% discount for a single payment. However, it seems there was an error in the amount deducted from your checking account. This discrepancy will be rectified promptly. The plan you acquired is valid until late January, encompassing the full 12 months. Rest assured, any additional fees will not be charged unexpectedly. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Should you have further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service department. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Hello, I'm Nataska Walters, and I'm 60 years old. I often find that young men take an interest in me, but upon re-reading my profile, they realize I'm looking for someone closer to their age. Even though I am 60, I look and feel much younger. My preference is for men between 35 and 45 years old as I find older men to be set in their ways and less receptive to my vitality and wisdom. I connect better with younger men who are ambitious. Some men who contact me are great but seek someone younger. It would be helpful if they paid closer attention to my profile to avoid disappointment. I'm interested in finding the right partner without wasting anyone's time. Would appreciate any help in this matter.

I was unaware of the ongoing charges throughout the year. I attempted to contact you multiple times using the provided phone number, which seems to be invalid. The website presented unrealistic options compared to other dating sites. The women highlighted did not share similar interests, and the selections did not match my specified criteria despite requesting for reasonably attractive, financially independent women within close proximity. Notably, there were no suitable options in Philadelphia; all matches were 50 to [redacted] miles away. Therefore, I request the immediate cancellation of my membership. Failure to do so will result in escalating this matter to the Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate within the Attorney General's Office. Kindly confirm the cancellation via email and ensure that any pending charges on my American Express card are dropped. Thank you, Rick McMenamin. My contact email is [redacted] and mobile [redacted]. This is my repeated attempt to reach out to E Harmony, and I am documenting it for future reference if necessary.

I would like to request a refund for the recent $[redacted].95 charge on my eharmony transaction. I intended to pay only $14.95 but mistakenly initiated the larger purchase. The small print appeared after I clicked pay, and it felt misleading. I need my money back as this situation seems unfair. I was creating an account for my friend with eharmony out of kindness to help him while he is feeling down. It's disappointing to face this issue despite trying to do a good deed. As a single mother of three, managing finances is challenging. However, I still wish to keep my account to assist my friend in finding a girlfriend. Could you please process the refund for me?

I was charged $95 unexpectedly in September although I hadn't used the service since Fall of [redacted]. eHarmony informed me that I was enrolled in a subscription, which I promptly canceled. Despite my dissatisfaction, the September charge was not refunded as I was informed that I had access to the service until the end of the month. To add to my frustration, I was charged again in October. I am hoping to address these concerns before taking further action with the Better Business Bureau. -Henry Acacia

I have reached out multiple times with no response. My premium access was deactivated and my bank card was mistakenly charged twice. I only agreed to a $14.95 trial, yet I was billed $[redacted].10 initially and then charged again today without consent. I have alerted my bank to report this suspicious activity as fraud. I demand immediate refunds for both unauthorized charges. Please provide a valid phone number to speak with a representative as the ones listed are not functional. I intend to escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities if my concerns are not addressed promptly.

I am 79 years old and need assistance with adding photos to my profile. I have managed to collect five photos on my [redacted] email and would like to email them to you for help in uploading them to my profile. This is the only method I am familiar with for adding photos to my profile. I have been a subscriber for about a week and have been waiting for assistance for the past three days. I am reaching out to see if there is someone in the company who can assist me with this issue. Thank you, Harold J. Santa Fe, NM

I have not found any value in my eharmony subscription over the first 4 months and wish to cancel the auto-renewal. I lack faith in the personal matching and testing process as it does not reflect me accurately. I am open to retaking the test if that is an option. The suggested matches are not compatible, with many lacking photos. Requiring photos might improve the quality of matches. As a 70-year-old relying mainly on social security, the expensive $[redacted] subscription has not been worth it. Despite being tech-savvy, my experience on eharmony has been disappointing. I regret to say that I will not recommend eharmony to others. I feel frustrated and deceived by what seems like a scam. I request the auto-renewal be canceled. Thank you. - Rita F. B.

I am struggling to access my eHarmony account due to the two-factor authentication sending codes to a deactivated email address from "mail.com". I initially set up this exclusive email for privacy and security reasons, but mail.com has since deactivated it. Despite attempts to contact eHarmony via phone and customer care, I have been unable to resolve this issue, as all responses are being sent to the now inactive email. The recommended phone number just leads to a long ring and then a busy signal. This situation has left me feeling extremely frustrated. Any advice on how to regain access to my account would be greatly appreciated.
