I joined the subscription site during an emotional period, and later realized I could cancel within three business days. I reached out via email within 48 hours to terminate the subscription due to personal reasons as a single mother dealing with a recent breakup. I would appreciate it if my subscription could be cancelled, a refund issued, and my profile removed. I was distressed when signing up and now understand it's not the right fit for me. Receiving an email stating that $[redacted] will be deducted is concerning as I have limited finances, currently only receiving $[redacted] monthly.

I recently discovered that my prepaid card information was fraudulently used on your website. I am seeking a full refund for the unauthorized transactions. My name is Veronica Ali, and I am not a regular user of your website. I can be reached at [redacted]. I have been attempting to contact your customer service for the past two days without success. My credit card company advised me to request the refund directly from you. As a person on a fixed income, spending over $[redacted] on a dating site is not feasible for me. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I was charged $57.40 on Jan. 11th, thinking it was for 3 months. I decided to cancel after a week, deleting the apps. However, I was charged the same amount less than a month later. I am unhappy and seeking a refund as I did not intend to sign up for monthly payments. I was aware of the initial charge but would not have subscribed if I knew it was monthly. I meant to cancel earlier. - Codi

I signed up for a free membership on eharmony and was planning to choose the cheapest plan available. However, I received an email on February 6, [redacted], stating that I had been charged $[redacted] for a premium membership, which I did not agree to. I recently upgraded to a Premium membership on this site, but unfortunately, free members cannot read messages or contact me unless they also have a Premium membership. I'm not very active on this platform and would like to cancel my Premium subscription within the 3-day grace period and receive a refund. My account is linked to [redacted] According to the 3-Day Cancellation policy for the Singles Service, I am aware that I can cancel without penalty within three business days. I plan to send a notice to eHarmony, Inc., Attn: Cancellations, P.O. Box [redacted], Los Angeles, CA [redacted] USA, expressing my wish to cancel. I understand that any refunds will be processed within 10 days after eHarmony receives my cancellation notice.

I have noticed that I am being charged twice each month for my membership. My sign-up in December had a small typo in my email address. As a result, I experienced difficulty accessing the site and had to initiate a password reset, which was sent to the incorrect email. Realizing this mistake, I created a new account using the correct email, intending to cancel the initial one within the allotted 7 days. Despite leaving multiple messages on the support platform requesting cancellation of the original account and asking for a callback – which never came – I continue to be billed twice monthly, both in December and January. I can be reached at [redacted]. My name is Mark B. I kindly request a call back regarding this issue.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience on eharmony. I attempted to reach out to customer service through multiple phone numbers, but none of them were functional. When I contacted them in writing, I received an unhelpful automated response that did not address my concerns. They are unwilling to issue a refund for the amount I spent and are planning to charge me two more times without my consent, totaling almost $[redacted] each time. Despite putting effort into setting up my profile and diligently answering their compatibility questions, I was bombarded with messages from men. After responding to each message, I later discovered that every single one of these men had been blocked by eharmony for suspicious behavior. It is clear that the service is not delivering on their promises and I demand a refund and cancellation of my account. This experience has been a waste of time and money. I am a 68-year-old on a fixed income hoping to find genuine love on this platform. I trusted eharmony with a significant amount of money, only to encounter these issues. I seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you, J.D. [redacted]

I need this issue resolved promptly, or I will involve legal action. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] I can provide a photo of the unauthorized charge on my bank statement upon request. I am looking forward to getting this matter resolved. I am disappointed with the recent changes to your website. Since the format update, I have not received any profiles or communication. I have attempted to reach your customer service via phone multiple times in the last five days without success. Although billing works flawlessly, I request a refund for the period you billed me since the format change. I want the credit issued to my credit card account, not as credit on the eHarmony platform. I have stopped further billings and canceled my subscription effective immediately. Please contact me at [redacted] to discuss this issue. - James T F.

I want to express my gratitude to the individual who shared this warning. In January [redacted], I stumbled upon this valuable information on GetHuman about a scam artist, Vincent Mercer, operating on eHarmony. Claiming falsely to have a background in the SAS and currently employed by the Australian Federal Police for terrorism assessments, he is quite persuasive. However, it's all a facade. Residing on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, he's someone to avoid. Mr. Vincent Lewis Mercer, aka Mauro Emilio Pennini, is known for his romantic cons and fraudulent activities. Previously incarcerated in the USA for firearm violations and breaching a protection order, his track record is concerning. Researching his Australian Business Number (ABN) reveals his name change from Pennini to Mercer. Fellow women, be cautious of any interactions with him, as he has a history of deceiving individuals and obtaining money under false pretenses. Let's protect others by closing any accounts he may have and warning potential victims. Thank you.

I have been mistakenly charged twice for the past three months - December, January, and February. The charges are $[redacted].65 and $79.80. I am seeking a refund for the $79.80 duplicated charge. In December, I created a new profile and paid $79.80. However, upon logging in, I was redirected to my old profile. Assuming the first payment did not go through, I paid $[redacted].65 for the second profile, which I have been using since. It is crucial to locate the extra profile, possibly registered under a different email, and either delete or disable it. I have previously attempted to contact support via email but haven't received a response. The charges were made on December 8th, January 9th, and February 9th. I request prompt attention to resolve this issue, as I do not plan to continue using the service beyond the current subscription year due to finding an alternate option.

I want to bring attention to a man named Greg Voss. He is actively using various email addresses and is present on numerous dating sites, predominantly in the US. Greg often refrains from displaying his picture on platforms such as Match and Meetville. Despite using his genuine details on occasions, he has also created fake accounts. This 39-year-old man, who has a 16-year-old daughter and 21-year-old son, is allegedly a sex addict. Greg frequents dating sites, chat rooms, and video chatting applications to engage with women, often manipulating them into sending photos. He targets women aged between 18-25, initially portraying himself as sweet, romantic, and victimized by his ex-partner. Subsequently, he coerces individuals into sexting and image sharing under false pretenses. Greg fabricates his identity and age, then promptly disappears after gaining what he desires. Good Afternoon, I recently requested a refund and was informed by Diana C that I would not be receiving one. I am contacting you again to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from your team. I signed up for the account but realized within 24 hours that it wasn't suitable for me. During the checkout process, I was not informed of the amount being charged to my card, which left me feeling misled by the high charge. Additionally, my attempts to contact customer service by phone have been unsuccessful as the line disconnects repeatedly. My experience with the Eharmony team has been disappointing, and I feel undervalued as a customer. I plan to escalate this matter to your corporate office to seek a resolution. Thank you, Stella Doan

I contacted support last month on April 6th requesting a refund for a one-month subscription I cancelled immediately. Due to COVID affecting my income, I cannot afford the dating service. Other companies have been understanding in this situation, unlike your continued charges after cancellation. Please refund my latest charge promptly due to financial strain. Thank you.

I subscribed to the $22 12-month plan with $78 billed quarterly. Last month, I was charged $78, and yesterday I was charged $78 again. I'm confused as this totals to $[redacted] in a single month instead of spread over two months. I want to know if there was a misunderstanding with the plan I chose. If there isn't a $78 per month plan, I kindly request a refund to resolve this confusion and maintain my account. If this issue cannot be rectified, I will have to cancel my membership as $78 per month is beyond my budget.
