I recently sold a pair of UGG boots on eBay that I purchased from City Jeans through Amazon. The buyer received the boots and had them for two weeks before requesting a return, claiming they are not authentic. Despite my request to return them with the original box and packaging, she refuses to do so. She now admits to wearing them for two weeks before questioning their authenticity, mentioning she has other UGG boots to use as a reference, including some from Nordstrom. I find it puzzling that she waited so long to raise concerns and now insists on a full refund. I am unsure if the boots she plans to return are the ones I sold her or a different pair. Your insights on this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I recently needed to verify my identity on eBay as a seller and received multiple automated emails requesting additional information. The process lasted over a week with numerous email exchanges. After providing all the necessary information and ensuring compliance with eBay's policies, my account was unexpectedly suspended. They have withheld the funds I earned from my sales and indicated that the suspension cannot be lifted. I have been a loyal eBay member for 18 years and have consistently followed the rules. I am frustrated by the sudden suspension of my selling privileges and the unjust confiscation of my funds. If any assistance can be offered regarding this matter, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Hello, I am having a difficult situation that I want to share and see if anyone can help me. Recently, I attempted to purchase a vehicle through eBay Motors, and unfortunately, it seems like I have become a victim of a scam. The process involved me sending money for the vehicle, as well as additional fees for insurance and storage. As a Disabled Vietnam Veteran living on a fixed income, the sudden requests for more money have put me in a tough spot financially. I have been communicating with an agent named Alex Sanjay, but he has not been responsive in the past few days. I provided them with my confirmation number [redacted] and details of the selling person Elaine Reedy. I hope to get some assistance or advice on how to proceed with resolving this issue. Thank you.

I made a purchase thinking I was buying from Australia Post and Ebay, but it turned out to be a company named Juchenshop. The hearing aids I ordered didn't fit properly, so I tried to return them. Despite providing proof of shipment, I was denied a refund. Emails and attempts to contact them have been fruitless. I managed to speak to a representative once, but my follow-up email was ignored. Now, over 90 days later, I am being told there is nothing that can be done about my issue. This has been an ongoing problem since February 24, [redacted].

The seller failed to send my package. Despite contacting them, the item remains in preshipment status with UPS. UPS confirmed they never received it, even though a shipping label was created. The seller reassured me that the issue was resolved and tracking would update, but nothing changed. When reaching out to eBay, my concerns were not addressed properly. I had no choice but to request a return, and now eBay states they support my case for a refund. Frustratingly, I had to purchase the same item from another seller, who then also refunded me as they didn't have it in stock. The situation is unfair, and I am considering closing my eBay account and escalating this to the Better Business Bureau. - J.

I am experiencing an issue with eBay. My account was blocked unfairly, and I am unable to contact them to explain and resolve this matter. My partner and I are both enthusiasts of a specific item, and we both purchased it. We have different accounts, but the item was being sent to the same address temporarily. eBay flagged this as a potential violation of their policy that prohibits multiple purchases of the same item per person. Despite explaining this, my account remains blocked, and I am unable to create a new one. Is there a way to communicate with a live eBay representative to address and resolve this situation?

Upon trying to open my account, I received a message stating that it has been suspended by eBay due to perceived risk in my account activity. I am uncertain about the specific reasons for this decision. During a chat with a representative, I was informed that my account suspension is related to risk factors identified by eBay's account monitoring. Unfortunately, they could not disclose further details due to company policy. It came as a surprise to me as I am an active and responsible buyer, consistently meeting payment obligations and conducting transactions ethically. I believe it is necessary for eBay to provide me with a clear explanation of the situation so that I can address any concerns. I value respecting policies and hope for transparent communication in return regarding the circumstances leading to my account being flagged as a risk. Thank you, Abdul.

I listed my item #[redacted]36 for sale locally on online classified ads. A buyer contacted me, and before meeting, I ensured there were no bids on eBay. After selling the item, I discovered a $[redacted] bid on eBay, which I had to cancel as the item was sold locally. eBay charged me a $77.39 final value fee in addition to the $3.99 to promote the item. This has caused me to lose money on the sale, even though I canceled the bid three days before the listing ended. I believe this fee is unfair as eBay did not contribute to the item's sale. The $3.99 promotion fee should cover eBay's costs. In the future, I will set my listings as no-reserve with a $0.99 starting bid to prevent similar situations. As a long-time eBay user with a solid reputation, I ask for an exception as this fee could deter sellers like me and impact eBay's revenue.

Hello, I purchased fuel injectors in February for my vehicle. I was informed they were compatible, but when my mechanic tried to code them yesterday, it was unsuccessful. The injectors don't match the numbers in my car's computer. I paid for coding that didn't work, and now my vehicle is emitting black smoke, making it impossible to drive and impacting my ability to work. I urgently need a solution - a refund or injectors that match the specifications I provided. Your help is greatly appreciated. - Waldemar.

I am facing a persistent issue on eBay regarding a payment of $78.43 made on Feb 24 for an item, Order # [redacted]77, using Paypal. Although the payment went through, on March 1, I received an email stating that the sale was canceled due to non-payment. Subsequently, I had to pay for the item again as the seller relisted it. Despite contacting eBay and them acknowledging a glitch preventing the payment from reaching the seller, the problem persists. Even after making the second payment, eBay still shows non-payment, although the seller confirmed receiving the funds. The item still appears as unpaid, and I am seeking a refund of the original payment made on Feb 24.

I am experiencing an issue with a seller (notebookdiscount2009) regarding order number 14-08[redacted]5 placed on Feb 17, [redacted]. The seller sold me a faulty item, and when I contacted them with photos as proof, they accused me of being a scammer. Now, HE is threatening me with legal action for fraud and defamation. I feel cheated and insulted, having spent around 13 euros on this purchase. I opted not to request a refund as this is not just about the money but about the way I have been treated. I hope appropriate actions are taken against this seller to prevent others from falling victim to such behavior. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards

Dear Community Members, I'm in urgent need of assistance. Suspecting a fraudulent transaction, I now seek your help regarding a recent purchase on eBay. On 02/23, I ordered item [redacted]81 from electronicsone. Oddly, although I placed the order on 02/23 at night, eBay claimed the package was delivered in TN on 02/24. After reporting the missing item to the seller on 02/28, I discovered through FedEx tracking [redacted]33 that the delivery address was altered without my knowledge, causing a delay in delivery due to the address change. Despite contacting FedEx and the seller about this issue, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response. On 03/01, FedEx marked the package as delivered and signed for by J. Sandovala, a person unknown to me and not residing at my apartment complex. Shockingly, eBay closed the case without proper investigation, leaving me out of $[redacted].66 for an undelivered item. Desperate for a prompt refund, I request assistance as the seller seems to have redirected the package to a different address. Both FedEx and my apartment complex have confirmed that the package was not delivered to my address, further complicating the situation. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Best regards, [initials]

I engaged with the seller to purchase a [redacted] Chevrolet Silverado [redacted]. Initially, I sent $1,[redacted] using Best Buy gift cards as instructed. Subsequently, Ebay requested an additional $2,[redacted] for insurance transport, paid in $[redacted] Best Buy gift cards twice. When informed that the vehicle was held by North Carolina Border Patrol in Raleigh, NC over taxes and demanded another $2,[redacted], I refused due to financial strain. Contacting NC Raleigh Border Patrol revealed they were not involved in such matters. Seeking resolution, I aim to either obtain the truck or a full refund, as promised at the transaction's onset. My Order #DW[redacted][redacted], I am Brenda K. King, and the seller was Jennifer Rice. Assistance in resolving this issue would be highly appreciated, given the absence of a tracking number and the prevalent complaints concerning your services.

I purchased a Sailor Moon proplica that was marked as delivered on eBay but was not received by my warehouse. Despite submitting the required documents for an Item Not Received claim, eBay denied my refund stating the documents were not received within the specified time frame. I feel unfairly penalized for eBay's platform error. Their response: "Hello Emanuel, Thank you for reaching out to eBay Customer Support regarding your item "BANDAI Sailor Moon Movie Eternal PROPLICA Crisis Moon Compact Figure F/S NEW" ([redacted]16). My name is Aishwarya and I will assist you. I have reviewed your case and due to the hold period expiring without receiving the Proof of Non-Delivery document, the case cannot be closed in your favor. For future reference, please ensure to submit required documents within the hold period for timely verification and resolution. We appreciate your membership on eBay. Good evening, Last year, in 20/21, I purchased five Mountain Face jackets in different colors and a dark green T-shirt. When checking my eBay purchases, it indicated that all five jackets and the T-shirt had been dispatched but are still in transit with Hermes Courier. I have lodged a complaint against them due to their poor service. If I don't receive a satisfactory resolution, I am prepared to escalate this to Ofcom. Hermes Courier needs to address the numerous complaints from customers who have experienced similar issues. I am frustrated with Hermes Courier and want this resolved promptly. I appreciate any assistance in tracking down my parcels. Thank you. Fiona R.

I have been an eBay seller for over 15 years with a [redacted]% positive feedback rating. Recently, I sold a [redacted]-ounce silver bar for around $[redacted]. The buyer initially agreed to the purchase but later changed his mind due to a scratch on the bar. Despite my no-refunds or cancellations policy, I agreed to a full refund as I didn't want to force the buyer. However, after the buyer opened a claim, my account was suspended, and eBay automatically charged me $[redacted] selling fee for the item. This unexpected charge has caused my bank account to overdraft, leading to financial difficulties. I have sought help from eBay representatives, but I am stuck in a cycle due to the account hold. I am requesting the removal of the account hold so I can receive the refund and resume my eBay operations smoothly. This situation has created significant challenges for me, impacting both my finances and ability to conduct business on the platform.

I purchased eight eBay gift cards for $[redacted] each expecting to buy a car, but it turned out to be a scam. I have the receipts, and the cards are unused with the backs unscratched. The person I was dealing with had their email account suspended, confirming it was a scam. Since I can't use them as intended, I am seeking a refund. Thank you.

On January 26, I bought a vintage synthesizer from a high-volume seller based in Akihabara, Japan with a well-established reputation on eBay. The estimated delivery window was between February 28 and March 7, with FedEx notified of the shipment on February 5. However, the tracking information has not been updated since then, and the package never entered the FedEx system. Despite several attempts to contact the seller, there has been no response, and I have noticed a surge in negative feedback regarding the seller's unprofessional behavior. The seller's eBay store is now closed, with no new listings showing up. I am willing to provide evidence of my interactions with the seller, including the original listing, communication attempts, FedEx tracking details, and the closure of the seller's store. I believe eBay is likely aware of similar cases involving this seller. I am now waiting for eBay to address this issue and reverse charges on my PayPal account. Thank you for your assistance. -Ned Pedersen

I recently bid on a watch on eBay from the seller "Watches2go" in an auction that took place on March 7th. After receiving a notification at 6:23:50pm GMT that I had won the bid at £32.50 with a postal charge of £15, I noticed I had been outbid within minutes. The bidding history revealed bids from a "private listing - bidder identity protected" at £33.50. Curiously, all other bids were also from "private listing - bidder identity protected," which seems unusual compared to other sellers on the platform. With over 20 years of eBay experience, I find this practice questionable, and I wonder if the seller may be manipulating bids. I have no personal issue with the seller, but I believe this behavior should be looked into. If my suspicions are incorrect, I apologize for any inconvenience. Reg Botterill SQ
