Ebay issued a full refund to my buyer without informing me, despite the item being delivered. I possess clear proof of delivery and could have easily resolved the issue if notified. This action by Ebay has happened twice in a short span, impacting my funds. There was no prior communication or valid reason for this refund. I demand the immediate return of my money and the removal of the negative feedback left by the buyer. It is crucial that Ebay addresses this situation promptly and rectifies the unjust decision. I request transparency in the claims process and a resolution to this matter promptly. Thank you, Bill Britt

I am inquiring about the suspension of my account and I am seeking to appeal this decision. I request guidance on the necessary documents for reinstating my account. I am a resident of Venezuela who uses a U.S. address for shipping purchases to my country. I utilize a warehouse for international shipping. Attached are documents and proof of residence from Venezuela, as well as my Payoneer (USA) bank account and a verified international debit card linked to my PayPal account. Thank you.

I bought an Elna sewing machine on April 19th for $[redacted]. With shipping, it came to $[redacted]. Unfortunately, the item arrived defective and broken. Despite leaving multiple messages for the seller, I haven't received a response. In my recent conversation with eBay on April 30th, they advised me to call for assistance. However, when I input all the necessary numbers, eBay doesn't recognize the transaction. None of the provided phone numbers for refunds or returns seem to be valid. The order number I have is 22-06[redacted]8, with the ID# [redacted]30 and return ID# [redacted], but eBay can't locate the purchase with these details. I've tried reaching out multiple times through chats and messages, but I'm currently unable to connect with an agent. I'm struggling to process the return for a full refund including taxes and shipping costs.

I need assistance with a closed issue that has re-emerged, causing my funds to be placed on hold once again. Initially, the buyer requested to meet late at night in person to receive the radio I was selling, but I found this suspicious and chose to ship it instead. Subsequently, he reported not receiving the radio and claimed to have had it inspected by two individuals. This situation seems questionable as I have never encountered such an issue before with my selling account. My advertisement clearly stated that the item was for parts or repair with no returns accepted. The radio's board was not faulty when I shipped it. It is concerning that the buyer mentioned having the board checked by two individuals, raising doubts about the integrity of their actions. I believe these circumstances are highly suspicious and warrant further investigation.

I am in urgent need of assistance as my eBay account has been inexplicably blocked. Whenever I try to communicate through the online chat, I receive a generic response and none of the agents seem willing to investigate or clarify the reason behind the block. Initially, my account associated with my Yahoo email "[redacted]" was blocked, leading me to create a new account with my Gmail "[redacted]," which also got blocked. After seeking help through the chat, the second account "[redacted]" was reactivated after verifying its legitimacy. However, shortly after listing a few items for sale and making a purchase, my account was once again blocked. I am at a loss as to why this is occurring; I am now unable to access either of my accounts and am hesitant to create a third. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue promptly so I can resume using my account without further disruptions? Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I am hopeful for a swift resolution. Regards, Brynnel

I'm inquiring about a potential purchase of a [redacted] Honda Accord Sport through Amber Clark, who mentioned their affiliation with the eBay buyer's purchase protection program. They mentioned that eBay would handle the delivery of the car after I provide my name and address. I received an email from eBay with a document containing a case number. I have been instructed that I have 5 days to decide whether to keep the car or not. The process involves purchasing three prepaid cards with $[redacted] each. The funds will be held by eBay until my decision is made. I kindly request that the authenticity of the case number # VPP-1[redacted]-[redacted] is verified to ensure that I am not being targeted by a fraudster.

I recently received this email regarding an order from an eBay Store. However, I did not make any purchases through my eBay account and this order does not reflect my activity. The invoice number is # [redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted] and the items listed include a Microsoft Surface Pro Laptop and an Ultra Slim Laptop Bag to be delivered to an address in Winston Salem, NC within 2-3 working days. The total cost is $2,[redacted].00. If you have any concerns regarding this purchase or did not place this order, you can reach out to eBay Sales Team. Otherwise, you can ignore the email and await further instructions.

I purchased a book on March 30th but have not received the item or shipping information. I initiated a return but was expecting a refund. The seller informed me that the package was returned damaged, and they said the refund process started on April 27th. I have not received any confirmation of the refund and now received a message asking to confirm my address, which seems confusing. I feel like I am being given the runaround by the seller, and I just want my refund after waiting for over a month. Ebay said they would intervene after three days. However, I have been having issues with customer service error messages claiming they tried to call but I only received emails saying they couldn't reach me. It's frustrating as I have never had a negative experience like this before.

I have been a dedicated eBay user for years, primarily collecting little porcelain boxes. However, upon trying to log in this time, my account was not recognized. After reaching out to customer service via email about this issue, I received a shocking and upsetting response. They stated that my account had been suspended due to perceived risky behavior in selling items, which they claim is permanent with no chance for appeal. They also warned that any attempt to create a new account would face suspension as well. As a 74-year-old lady with a passion for buying animal figurines only, I have never engaged in selling on eBay. If there has been any malicious activity on my account, it was not by my hand. I urge them to review my buying history thoroughly and not solely rely on their system's findings. I am considering creating a new account with a different email address and expect eBay to handle this situation fairly and responsibly, rather than unfairly penalizing loyal members. I will continue to push for a just resolution to this issue.

I recently purchased three sets of yellow essence color sticks from eBay seller "BlueLagoon" at the full price of $14 each even though I intended to offer a lower price. My mistake led me to purchase all three sets instead of negotiating. Additionally, I noticed the same seller was offering pink sets for $12, which I had previously bought for $10. I asked if I could purchase the pink sets for $6, given the pricing difference, but despite their reassurance of only one set left, they never confirmed my request. Despite reaching out multiple times, I have received no response from BlueLagoon. This lack of communication and apparent false advertising with more sets available now has disappointed me. I aim to leave an honest review of their customer service. If anyone can assist or provide guidance on my next steps, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I received a notification stating that my eBay order had to be canceled due to concerns about the item listed. Despite the cancellation, it should not impact my order, and I am still covered by eBay’s Money Back Guarantee if any issues arise. The item in question was DriveAssist 51 LMT-S GPS with a permanent map from Garmin. For more details, I can visit the eBay help page provided. The email concluded with a reminder not to reply as the address does not accept incoming emails. The cancelation notice included an order number and eBay Document ID for reference. The message also emphasized eBay's commitment to privacy and provided information on recognizing fake emails.

I have been an eBay member for years. Recently, when trying to list items, I received a notification stating my account is restricted from selling. After contacting customer service, they were unable to find any restrictions. This seems to be a recurring issue. I was advised to call again if the problem persists, which is confusing. eBay mentioned sending a letter with the reasons for the restriction, but I have not received one. I am unsure how to proceed. I would like eBay to resolve this matter promptly so I can resume selling. Thank you, K. L.

I am frustrated that eBay sided with the buyer even though they admit to mishandling the item. It seems unfair that I have to refund the money and cover return shipping costs. This experience is making me reconsider selling on eBay in the future. Item: [redacted]80 - Ready Brake Buddy Tow Bar ReadyBrake Braking System RB-[redacted]

I have an eBay order number 18-06[redacted]8 and initiated a return for a product that did not work upon arrival. eBay informed me that the seller would contact me about the return by today, May 7, [redacted], but I have not received any communication. I have tried calling the seller twice and left voicemails regarding the defective motherboard, and also emailed with pictures, but have not received a response. Despite the seller's active eBay store with nearly [redacted] items listed, they have not acknowledged my requests for a return label. I am seeking a full refund and request a complimentary shipping label if the seller wishes for the item to be returned. Your assistance in resolving this matter promptly is appreciated. I placed an order on eBay with order number 18-06[redacted]8, but the product I received was defective. I initiated a return through eBay, and they informed me that the seller would contact me by May 7, [redacted]. However, I have not heard from the seller yet. I tried calling them twice and left a voicemail explaining the issue. I also emailed them with pictures of the defective motherboard, but there has been no response. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you. Sincerely, Anthony Cladin (aomega [redacted])

I suspect I have been scammed out of five eBay cards, each loaded with $[redacted] value, while trying to purchase a motorcycle. The transaction took place on Bonon's platform but was through eBay's buyer and seller protection plan. After paying with the eBay cards, I received a text requesting additional payment for shipping insurance in the same amount as the motorcycle purchase. Upon realizing that the shipping insurance should have been covered, I realized it was a scam. Communication ceased after I pointed out the discrepancy. I am wondering if there is a way to check if the cards are still valid or if there is a way to stop payment on them. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased a Calista Perfecter curling brush which was meant to come in a new box, but it arrived on 5/6/21 without the box shown in the eBay ad. The packing slip was missing, so I couldn't verify the price charged to my credit card or see any item details from the manufacturer to confirm if it was new. Important information about the product and purchase was absent from the order. I usually buy from Amazon, but decided to try eBay, assuming it was a reliable company. The return label on the package indicates Jodie Cooley at [redacted] Sunset Ave. Boro, NJ, 08[redacted] as the seller. The package was sent via USPS Priority Mail Special 2-day, even though I didn't request special shipping. The USPS tracking number is 9[redacted]-0[redacted]-[redacted]-23. As a 77-year-old woman who isn't very tech-savvy, I am currently having trouble with my email, so I prefer to be contacted by phone to resolve the issue with eBay. My landline number is [redacted], and my mailing address is Susan E Poole, [redacted] Leightons LN, Harwich MA 026ec45. Please refrain from sending emails as I cannot receive them at the moment. Thank you, Susan Poole.

Hello, I recently sold a pair of trainers (sneakers) on UK eBay about a month ago. The buyer messaged me asking for a return, claiming that "both US 6.5 and US 7 are UK 6 so I naively assumed it was the latter." The item was listed as a UK 6 without additional size information. I'm concerned as the buyer waited a month to claim the shoes don't fit, and I worry about the possibility of them being swapped for fakes, especially since the shoes are popular and pricey. Despite eBay stating the return was due to the item not being as described, I'm unable to dispute it. I have all the messages where the buyer admitted to assuming US sizes, which is odd given that they are from the UK. I believe this is a false return as the item is accurately described, and the buyer has only now claimed they "wrongly assumed" the fit. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Sir, I am reaching out regarding the watch I purchased for my husband on Feb 22. Upon receiving it, I placed it in my safety deposit box and waited for his upcoming birthday this week. When I retrieved it to set the time before presenting it to him, the top button, which operates the stopwatch function, came off. Despite attempting to reattach it, the watch is not functional. I am disappointed to discover that this is not the high-quality Swiss watch I believed it to be but a replica. I will be returning the watch with all labels and stickers still intact, as nothing was removed. As a hardworking paralegal, I wanted to gift something special to my husband, but due to unforeseen circumstances including a COVID-related hospitalization, I missed the 30-day return window. I kindly request your assistance in getting a refund for this purchase. Thank you.

In March, I sold an item but waited over 42 days for payment. Despite my multiple emails and payment reminders, the buyer didn't pay. I cancelled the auction, which led the buyer to leave negative feedback. When I left honest feedback mentioning the non-payment, the buyer retaliated with more negative feedback. Even now, the auction states I'm waiting for payment two months later. I'm frustrated because of this situation. I want the retaliatory feedback removed or my account deleted. I'm tired of dealing with buyers who abuse the system and eBay's rules. It's been challenging for sellers lately. Some of my seller friends have left the platform due to similar issues.
