I fell victim to a scam involving two $[redacted] gift cards from what I believed to be a legitimate company. I have all the documentation and emails to support my claim. Initially, I received a check to deposit in my bank account with instructions to purchase $[redacted] worth of gift cards and evaluate the stores' customer service. Fortunately, I only acquired two $[redacted] eBay gift cards. My suspicion was aroused when they requested the scratched off numbers from the cards. By the time I realized, the fraudsters had already used the cards. This incident has had a significant impact on my budget as a social security recipient. Although I acknowledge my mistake, I wonder if eBay would consider reimbursing or providing credit for the gift cards if I present them with all the evidence. I have reported the fraudulent activity to the FTC and consumer reports. Any advice or response would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I am requesting that the feedback provided by the buyer (See below for Order number) be removed from my seller feedback. It was out of my control regarding the USPS delivery time, as I shipped promptly using USPS Priority Mail. The buyer mentioned the item not fitting, even though the size was clearly indicated on the box and shoes before the purchase. EBAY's response mentioned "Technical Issues" and advised contacting customer service, but I am unsure why the negative feedback cannot be removed. I shipped the item the day after it was purchased, but delays were likely due to the holiday season and increased COVID-related shipments. Product: AVIA-TAYLOR WHITE/TEAL Women's Walking Shoes SIZE 9 Wide New in Box Order number: 07-06[redacted]7 Item ID: [redacted]65 Date of sale: December 16, [redacted] Buyer: slowed4 Case number: 1-[redacted]83 Status: Feedback remains I received a message from EBAY letting me know they could not address my request due to a technical issue. For further assistance, please contact Customer Service.

I made a purchase on eBay for an office chair from seller harrga95 and received an update that the item was removed due to concerns with the seller’s account. The chair has not arrived and I am unable to contact the seller as they are no longer associated with eBay. I am seeking a refund to my bank account as advertised by eBay’s refund guarantee. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you. Regards, Fred C.

I bought 2 motorcycle mufflers from a seemingly Australian website. After confirming free shipping to New Zealand, I paid in full. However, the seller claimed they couldn't ship to NZ due to restrictions. I realized both sellers (motorpart888 and autopart2018) have similar payment accounts based in Hong Kong or China. Despite asking for shipping details and location, they refuse to provide information. I suspect dishonesty and lack of integrity. While they urge me to get a refund, I simply want the product I purchased. I have tried contacting Ebay through their site with no luck. It's concerning, considering the free trade agreement between NZ, China/Hong Kong, and Australia. I hope this issue gets investigated promptly. Nigel McDougall (kiwicruizer)

Subject: Difficulty Receiving Support on eBay Hello, I need to address an issue with a recent purchase I made on eBay. On December 9th, I bought a gift for a friend which was delayed in delivery by 10 days. Upon receiving it, I discovered the item had scratches and the CD function did not work properly. I have been trying to contact the seller for a resolution, but they have been unresponsive. I initiated a return request through eBay, but have not received assistance due to the 30-day policy. I have reached out multiple times without success and feel frustrated by the lack of support in resolving this matter. I have followed all eBay guidelines and procedures but still face challenges in getting a resolution. I urge eBay to look into the seller's feedback and take appropriate action. The seller misrepresents their location and sells faulty goods, and I believe my case warrants attention. I hope for a fair resolution to this issue. John Snowden

I purchased what I thought was a coffee grinder, but it turned out to be just the Coffee Burr (PART). I'm in the process of sending the part back to the seller, who provided me with an address in Kentucky with no street information. The Post Office has stated that they require a street address for delivery. The seller, supposedly from China, rents a warehouse in Kentucky. He goes by the name "goodbetter." The Item Number for this transaction is [redacted]42. I have until the third of February to resolve this issue, and I am prepared to return the item; I just need a street address to facilitate the process. Thank you for your help! - J. E.

I need advice regarding a return request I received for a pair of shoes I sold on eBay. Despite the shoes being accurately listed as "pre-owned" with detailed photos, the buyer claims they are not as described and is insisting on a full refund. I have upheld a "no returns" policy, yet eBay is requiring me to accept the return and issue a refund. As a longtime eBay user with an unblemished track record, this situation feels unjust. I believe the buyer's dissatisfaction stems from a change of heart rather than any misrepresentation on my part. How can I navigate this situation fairly? Any guidance would be appreciated promptly.

Hello - I have noticed that the bidder who had private identity protection has withdrawn from the sale. You are now selling the item to me for 36 euros, which I do not agree with. Here's why - firstly, they were able to bid multiple times in cents - 38.07, 37.57, 31.56, 29.55, while I could only bid in increments of 50 cents. Additionally, they bid from 25 to 33 euros without anyone else bidding, and then increased to 37.57 and 38.07 after I bid 36 euros. I find this very unusual. If I do not hear back from you, I will contact EBAY regarding this issue. Now, they are offering me the item for 30.00 euros plus shipping. As I need this item for my collection, I have accepted their offer. When you provide me with the details for the transfer, I will follow up with eBay regarding this unclear bidding process and private identity protection of bidders. This is the first time I have encountered this on eBay. I have not heard back from them since our last communication, despite my reminders. I visited their site again, and there are still no buyer names, only private identity protection for bidders. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a great Sunday. Best regards.

Dear Sir, I am experiencing an issue with my payouts being held until I update my account details, while payments continue to be extracted from my Paypal account without any concerns. I have been a member of my credit union for 42 years, joining when I got my EE degree and began working at Hughes Aircraft Company. I have never allowed another institution direct access to my credit union account, and I have no intentions of doing so now. During my 13 years of selling on eBay, I have been content with the setup where Paypal acts as the intermediary for payments, which are then transferred to my credit union account at my discretion. This process has been convenient for me to track my financial transfers easily. It seems that eBay is moving towards removing this intermediary role and wants direct access to members' accounts for financial transactions. In a time where cyber security is crucial, this change removes a barrier that adds an extra layer of protection for members' assets. If the requirement for direct access to my credit union account is mandatory, I may need to reconsider my relationship with eBay. Sincerely, Jan D. Perkins

Hello GetHuman team, I purchased three items on January 5th, [redacted], for $37.49 USD ($50.65 CAD) but have not received any shipping information or tracking numbers from the seller for items #[redacted]59, [redacted]41, and [redacted]87. eBay suspended my account without valid reason on January 9th or 10th, preventing me from contacting them via phone or chat. I am seeking a refund promptly through alternative channels. I've encountered issues with some eBay sellers, especially from Asia, who provide subpar products with no quality control. Items are often poorly packaged without proper protection like bubble wrap, leading to damage during shipping and customs inspections. Despite providing evidence of damage to sellers, my account was suspended instead of addressing the seller's negligence. I question eBay's commitment to buyer confidence and their money-back guarantee. Having been a longtime eBay shopper with a history of successful purchases, I am baffled by the disparity in seller reputation compared to platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and Etsy. I urge eBay to address these internal issues to protect honest buyers like myself. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, recovering $50.65 CAD is significant to me, especially during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. I appreciate any guidance your team can provide in facilitating a refund. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, George

Dear Customer Service, I am writing to seek assistance regarding my blocked eBay account. Despite being a long-time eBay member from Bogota, Colombia, my recent purchase of a Pentax light source paid through a friend in the USA has resulted in my account being blocked. I have tried contacting eBay over the phone from Colombia with no success, and I am reaching out for help to resolve this issue promptly. Best regards, Jose Osorio

I recently had three eBay accounts suspended because I was selling images of the GeForce RTX [redacted] Founders edition. The product description clearly stated that it was a high-quality picture and not a physical GPU. Despite following eBay's rules, my accounts were suspended without any chance to discuss the issue. Other similar auctions are still active on eBay without facing any consequences. I had an auction running at [redacted]€, and now I am left wondering who will cover that amount for me. It's frustrating to see eBay allowing fraudulent activities by bots while penalizing sellers like me offering images of products.

Hello, I recently paid [redacted] EUR for an item that was never delivered. The seller failed to provide a tracking number and did not respond to any of my messages. Despite having a stellar 12+ year history with over [redacted] successful transactions on eBay, my account has been mysteriously suspended. The notification from eBay uses vague language, leaving me baffled. After purchasing a laptop from a German seller that never arrived, I attempted to resolve the issue by requesting a refund through PayPal when the seller remained unresponsive. Simultaneously, I made another successful laptop purchase from a different German seller and left positive feedback. Days later, eBay notified me of my account suspension due to my supposed risky activity. Reaching out to customer support only resulted in automated responses with the same unhelpful explanation. I seek a meaningful conversation with a real person to clarify the situation and regain access to my account. Thank you, Marek

Approximately a month ago, my account was permanently suspended. I immediately reached out to the live chat support to inquire about the reason for the ban and to appeal it. Unfortunately, I was informed that the specifics of the ban couldn't be provided. Upon reflection, I now realize that the suspension may have been due to a violation of the platform's rules. I had unknowingly included external links to eBay within the product description and used images of the original product alongside the one I was selling. I intended to offer detailed information and clarity to potential buyers. I am interested in contesting the suspension, as I believe these actions were unintentional and born out of misunderstanding. I aim to rectify these errors and ensure compliance in the future.

I'm stuck in a situation with a recent purchase of AirPods. The seller first canceled my order, claiming the product wasn't original. They promised a refund, but after a while, I still didn't see the money. I contacted the seller, who directed me to reach out to my bank. The bank investigated but found no attempt to refund me. My case is closed, and I'm left without the item or my money. The seller seems suspicious, especially with negative feedback surfacing lately. Can anyone provide assistance in this matter? Details below: Order number: 03-06[redacted]6 Cancellation ID: [redacted] From: athan7_16

I purchased an item from a seller who did not accurately describe it, so I returned it and got a refund. It has been two months since the purchase, and the seller claims he hasn't received the item. I paid in cash at the UPS store and no longer have the tracking details. Despite thinking the issue was resolved, the seller continues to accuse me of theft and harass me, impugning my character. Threats have been made to involve the police. I'm feeling overwhelmed as I am unsure how to proceed. There are worries about potential harm to me or my family since the seller remains upset. I even offered $[redacted] for the UPS mishap, although there is uncertainty if the package was lost.

I am attempting to buy two bar stools for my daughter's birthday on March 16th. However, I keep encountering an error message stating that the seller does not deliver to my address. I receive packages and large items regularly, so I'm unsure why this issue is occurring. My daughter specifically wants these stools, and I am interested in purchasing from a single seller if possible. Do you accept payments from Afterpay, Affirm, Klarna, or similar services? I have reached out to both sellers multiple times but have not received any responses. I require assistance with this matter. Please contact me at [redacted]

I returned my package before the deadline, and I have proof that it was delivered, as shown in the picture. eBay mistakenly provided me with a shipping label for up to 2lbs, and I had to pay for the return shipping out of my own pocket on January 26th, a day after the deadline. Due to snowy conditions, the package took longer to reach its destination and was confirmed delivered on February 2nd. Despite having evidence that the seller received the package at their doorstep, they still appealed the return without contacting me. The seller knowingly received the package and appealed the return to avoid reimbursing me. eBay quickly accepted the appeal on the same day, February 2nd, as shown in the screenshot. I did not receive the guaranteed 48-hour window specified by eBay before the case was closed on the same day. I believe I am entitled to a full refund as the product was defective, and the seller did not acknowledge its condition. I have all the necessary documentation, including receipts, tracking information, my refund request to the seller, and proof of the case closure on the same day it was opened.

On January 24th, while on Market Place, I encountered a car being sold for a thousand dollars. Upon contacting the seller, who claimed to be selling the car for their sister, unknowingly fell victim to a scam. I purchased 2 gift cards for $[redacted] at CVS in Kokomo, Indiana, and shared the numbers with the scammer. I received an email claiming to be from eBay stating that the order was on hold. After a conversation with the scammer over the phone, I realized I had been deceived. Despite reaching out to BestBuy for assistance and facing financial struggles due to low income and health issues, including pending back surgery, I have been left in a difficult situation. This scam has caused significant distress, affecting not only me but others as well.

My eBay account was closed on January 23rd this year due to a lost item in the post. All my previous reviews were positive. I purchased three items worth £47 on January 22nd that I have not received yet. One of the sellers mentioned that eBay said the transaction was suspicious, but I have provided proof of payment through PayPal. The seller is now unresponsive. I am unable to access my closed eBay account to resolve this issue. PayPal redirected me to eBay for assistance, but I can't log in. Can anyone help me retrieve my items or get a refund? Thank you, Tom.
