We bought eBay gift cards to get our daughter a car. After calling eBay, we found out it wasn't a valid purchase. We were left with $[redacted] on eBay cards. We planned to use them for Christmas gifts, but after entering the cards, our account got suspended.

Grazie, CL.

My mother purchased a perfume in February, returned it due to dissatisfaction, and has not received any communication since then. The perfume cost over a hundred pounds, and both her and I are very disappointed. The seller informed me at the start of lockdown about having COVID-19 and being away from the office. Consequently, my mother is left without the perfume and over a £[redacted] out of pocket. We have attempted to contact eBay for assistance, but the automated system redirects us to the resolution center. Our frustrations are escalating. Your support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I fell victim to a scam while trying to purchase a camper online. When I tried to pay with my credit card, they insisted on eBay gift cards which I purchased for $[redacted]. They received the card numbers and likely used them. The scammers sent a fake eBay document that looked official. I want to report the incident, hoping it prevents others from falling for the same trick. I am providing the numbers in hopes of tracking down those responsible and preventing them from using eBay in the future.

I recently received an email from eBay mentioning a payout issue on Dec 2, [redacted]. The email stated that they tried sending $[redacted].67 to my bank account but had trouble with it. However, after contacting my bank, they clarified that the issue is not on their end; it seems to be a problem with eBay. My bank account information on eBay is accurate. Interestingly, I received a payout of $[redacted].77 without problems on December 1st. Therefore, I kindly request eBay to resend the payout of $[redacted].67 to my account. Thank you.

I wanted to purchase 2 cell phones from a seller. I paid for the items, and then he contacted me saying he no longer had them. He promised to refund my money. However, eBay is stating that I need to mail the items back to the seller, but I never received them. How can I return something I never got? I require a refund as I never received the items and cannot return something that was never sent to me in the first place. How can I get my money back from this seller when I never received the items in the first place? I am in need of assistance as eBay believes I have the items from this seller, but I never received them.

Ebay account belonging to Wendy [redacted] is facing an issue with a seller named nucleocomputer regarding non-payment for printer inks item number [redacted]24. I made the payment via Paypal and have the transaction ID 4H923509Pu18528E. The seller received the payment, I received the item, and have used it. I was advised to have the seller contact Ebay. The seller has canceled the order. Despite this, I received an email stating that an unpaid item has been recorded against my account due to non-payment. I am requesting the removal of the unpaid item action from my account.

I bought an item on Ebay three months ago and was pleased with it initially, leaving a positive review. However, the product has now started falling apart with minimal use. The seller refuses to acknowledge the poor quality of the item. I am hoping to at least inform the Ebay community about the product's subpar construction and potential health risks (it is a food preparation item) or receive a replacement part, but I am unsure how to proceed with this.

After transitioning to managed payments, I recently sold two identical items with the same price and free shipping. However, I noticed that different selling fees were deducted for each item. My calculations indicate that the fee should be 12.35% plus 30 cents. For an $11.95 item, the fee should be $1.[redacted]. Surprisingly, one of the items incurred a $1.78 fee, while the other was charged $1.91. Although the 13 cents difference may seem minor, it represents a considerable percentage of the total fees. I am keen to understand the reason behind this discrepancy, even if it's a small amount, as it's valuable to comprehend the charges applied accurately.

My eBay account was suspended after completing a sale. The buyer mistakenly thought I was a scam due to the suspension and requested a refund. Despite providing the tracking number as per the appeal instructions by December 3rd and mailing the package within 3 days, eBay refunded the buyer without allowing me a chance to rectify the situation. The only violation I am aware of is having an unconfirmed email due to a typo preventing access. I believe I deserve reimbursement for my time and shipping expenses, which eBay should cover regardless of the buyer's actions as they are at fault.

I am encountering an issue with returning a bumper I bought from autosdepo as they refuse to provide me with a return label. They claim I should arrange the label from the mailing service. When I visited UPS, I was quoted $[redacted].00 to return a $[redacted].00 item that did not fit my truck. Given I ordered the correct part, this cost should not fall on me. This situation is distressing, bordering on fraudulent, and is financially straining as I am on a fixed income. If not resolved, it may impact my ability to meet basic needs. My order number is 05-[redacted]7. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Edie Snider

I have been experiencing issues with eBay technical support since a charge of $37.80. This problem has resulted in a significant financial loss for me, totaling over $20,[redacted]. Every time I contact them, they assure me that I will be refunded, but the solution always involves purchasing more eBay gift cards. This cycle has been ongoing for a long time and has negatively impacted my credit cards and checking account. Now they are requesting an additional $1,[redacted] to resolve the matter. When I fail to provide the requested eBay gift cards, I lose my money. I feel I have already provided more than enough and I urgently need my money back. This situation has become absurd and frustrating.

I recently fell victim to a fraudulent scam involving the purchase of $[redacted] worth of eBay gift cards. Following my purchase at a [redacted] store, I grew suspicious and contacted AT&T to confirm my doubts. After verifying the scam with AT&T, I promptly informed my credit card company to stop the payment. I refrained from following the fraudulent instructions to use the gift cards and still possess them. I wish to return the unused cards to eBay to prevent any misuse. As an 88-year-old individual, I struggle with internet communication, so I kindly request assistance via phone at [redacted] to address this issue promptly. I need assistance with returning a damaged Bose speaker that arrived in a damaged condition due to shipping. When I woke up at 5 AM, I found the package on my front steps, with one end of the box smashed and a loud rattle inside when I picked it up. I have been struggling to find a contact number to address this issue. In my search for help, I contacted my Visa card company for support in obtaining the necessary contact information. They have assured me that they will assist in resolving this matter and have initiated a refund request for the item purchased on eBay. - Peter D. [redacted] [redacted]

I recently purchased a car through Facebook Marketplace. The vehicle's owner had listed it for sale on eBay Motors. They instructed me to buy $[redacted] worth of eBay cards, take pictures of the cards and receipts, and send them. After that, they asked for an additional $[redacted] for insurance, which they claimed was refundable. Now they are requesting $[redacted] more for a delivery deposit. I am starting to feel like this might be a scam. I didn't have the $[redacted] before, but I do now. Before committing more money, totaling $1,[redacted] so far, I want to ensure this is all legitimate. I last spoke with someone regarding this 2 days ago. Should I proceed with sending the remaining amount, or is it possibly too late? I just want to receive the car I paid for.

I came across a car listing on eBay, where the seller, Amanda B., claims to be in the military and recently lost her husband. She is selling a [redacted] Nissan Altima for $[redacted] and mentioned that there is some sort of eBay process involving cards for payment. The car is located at 49 Utah Rd, Wilmington, Delaware [redacted]. I would like to know if this transaction is legitimate before proceeding further. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulty reaching a buyer to remind them about their delayed payment for order #[redacted]01. When I enter the order number into the system, I receive an error message preventing me from advancing the issue. The buyer is now one day behind in payment. I am seeking guidance on how to address this matter. My goal is to send the buyer a detailed invoice highlighting the outstanding amount owed. Additionally, I made an error in selecting the shipping method initially and would like to rectify this. Sincerely, Neal P. Colombo

I have come across an ad that is misleading customers by falsely advertising their product using a different name. The advertised products are mushrooms, and this name switch could be harmful to the health of those who are misled by the ad. I believe action should be taken to address this issue. There is a serious risk of someone ingesting mushrooms that they believe belong to a certain species while they are actually from a different one. When I inquired about the product's harvest location, the seller admitted that the tincture being sold is not the mushroom it was claimed to be. The ad refers to it as agarikon due to its medicinal benefits, but it is actually made from agaricus Blazei, which is not what is being advertised. If I had purchased this product, I would have thought I was getting the health benefits of a particular mushroom when, in reality, I would be consuming something entirely different. This is clear fraud, and honesty in advertising is crucial.

I purchased a phone case on eBay as a guest and now that I have received it, the thumbprint scanner is not working due to a faulty button on the case. The seller is uncooperative and insists on verifying my identity with eBay, causing delays. I need a resolution promptly as I need to leave for work. I am frustrated with this situation and just want either a replacement case or a refund, as the seller is not cooperating.
