I purchased a Spear & Jackson Hand Pump Sprayer in July, but only used it for the first time on September 28th. Unfortunately, after refilling it, the container did not maintain pressure despite repeated pumping. The delay in use was due to my recovery from a stroke. I tried to reach out to the seller, 'easycash 85,' but couldn't locate their information. Being a retired engineer, I trusted the Spear & Jackson brand, so I am quite disappointed by this malfunction. I seek either a replacement unit or information on how to repair it. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you. Regards, B. Laing

I bought a camera lens through a Buy It Now listing and completed the payment via PayPal. However, I discovered that my order is set to be canceled because it was deemed unsuccessful due to an order cost discrepancy. The seller has sold the item to someone else, and I feel unfairly penalized. I am unsure why the order cost wasn't included, why I wasn't given the chance to rectify the issue, why the problem wasn't communicated earlier, and why I couldn't purchase the item again when it was relisted. I am requesting the cancellation of the new order, reinstatement of my original order, an opportunity to pay the missing amount, and clarification on the situation.

I am in the process of purchasing a motorhome on Facebook Marketplace for $[redacted]. The seller claims to be in the military and deploying to Iraq soon. The vehicle belonged to their deceased father. Payment is supposed to go through eBay, with a wire transfer to a bank. The seller mentioned that the motorhome would be delivered by the military due to one free move per year. There's a seven-day inspection period before eBay releases funds to the seller, and the title will then be given to the buyer. They advised us to portray the wire transfer as a personal investment to avoid bank charges. The transaction number provided is [redacted]2. The buyer's name is Ed Rumley, and the seller is Betty Mullis at Eielson AFB in Alaska. The payment is directed to an account at Signature Bank in NYC under Payward Ventures. I'm reaching out to see if this procedure is standard for eBay transactions or possibly fraudulent. I will cross-verify the bank details in the meantime. If anyone has insights, please contact me at Ed Rumley [redacted] or [redacted] Thank you.

I have encountered someone attempting to conduct a phishing scam through eBay. The individual is pretending to sell a camper trailer located in Colorado to me in California, using eBay as a false sense of security. After seeing the trailer on Facebook, I reached out to the seller who insisted on using eBay for the transaction, claiming they would secure it. They have a fake eBay webpage with a convincing callback number and sent an invoice with instructions for me to purchase eBay gift cards instead of using PayPal. When I called the number provided, I was put on hold and then received a call from a man claiming to be from eBay, urging me to use gift cards for security reasons. I am not familiar with eBay or online platforms like Facebook and wish to report this fraudulent activity to you. I have all email correspondence from September 25th to the 29th and can provide them for investigation. If you need further information, please contact me via email.

I am inquiring about the situation regarding the sale of men’s Hudson jeans. The buyer requested a refund, kept the item, and threatened to involve eBay if an immediate refund was not issued. I have attempted to contact eBay for three weeks using GetHuman but have been unable to reach a representative. As a member since [redacted], I am keen on speaking with an eBay rep to appeal the case and have it reviewed.

I am eBay user gem-lair ([redacted]). I won an auction on September 28th, but I have not received any response from the seller, afnho_0, despite sending 5 emails. The item number for the auction is [redacted]79, which is for an AOC E2770SHE 27" LED Monitor, Black- Full HD 5ms, for which I paid $87.96. The order number is 25-05[redacted]9. I paid immediately after the auction ended. The lack of communication and shipping information is concerning, and I suspect it might be a scam. The issue remains unresolved as the seller has not replied to any of my emails. I may have to wait until the 6th of October to address this situation. It is unfortunate that this is happening now, and I am disappointed with the seller's lack of responsiveness. I am considering avoiding eBay for future transactions.

Hello, I recently received an email from eBay addressed to seller joket39, who I recently purchased an item from for $[redacted]. The email seems to be regarding the status of joket39's account on eBay and states that their appeal has been denied. It mentions that any actions taken on their account will remain in place and that they are not allowed to register new accounts or use existing ones. While the email does not directly impact my purchase, it appears to be a notification about the seller's status on the platform. Just wanted to share this update in case it has any implications on my recent transaction. Thank you.

I recently placed an order for an electric motor only to realize I selected the wrong voltage. I immediately requested to cancel and order the correct one, but without any cancellation or refund, the seller went ahead and shipped the wrong item. I am quite puzzled by how the seller managed to ship the order within minutes of my request. I suspect the seller may not have any intentions to refund me and may make it difficult for me to return the item. Despite reaching out multiple times via email, the seller has not responded. As a loyal eBay customer, encountering such behavior is disheartening. I urge eBay to intervene in this matter. This situation is truly frustrating. Regards, G.C.

I recently made a purchase on EBAY for a friend's son and created a new account. Unfortunately, I have started receiving unrelated mail order magazines after this transaction. The items featured in the magazines seem more tailored towards men, such as cigars and male clothing, which is not relevant to my interests. It appears that my contact details were shared by the seller, most likely due to the nature of the item I bought. This situation has left me feeling frustrated and annoyed about the unauthorized use of my information.

Could you please release my money that is currently on hold due to the seller not returning the lot of jewelry as promised? I transferred the money to my PayPal account for the purchase, and even after asking the seller to return the items, they have not done so. The deadline for the return passed on September 29, and as of October 2, the money is still held. PayPal mentioned that Ebay needs to release the funds since they placed the hold. I would greatly appreciate it if you could release the money and close the case, as I followed all the necessary steps and the seller failed to return the jewelry as agreed.

I have been experiencing difficulty placing bids on items over the past 36 hours. Everything appears normal until I try to input my bid amount. The blue bid bar changes from bright to faded after I select it, causing my bid not to be accepted. Only by clicking back into the bid price box does the blue color return to normal. However, upon re-entering my bid and clicking the bar, it often turns faded again, leading to rejection. I have attempted to retype the bid with no success and even changing a single number results in rejection most of the time. Sometimes, the bid is accepted as usual, without any changes in my approach. This inconsistency is frustrating. I seek guidance on resolving this issue. Thank you, Dave Beatty

I would like to discuss my issue with customer service regarding a fraud related to a recent purchase I made on May 13, [redacted]. I bought a keratin hair relaxer that damaged my hair severely, but the seller refused to accept the return without me paying $7.55 for the return shipping. This was unfair as I had already paid $15.99 for the product. I have not received any response or my refund from the seller. Now, I am facing another issue with a different seller for a micro needle cartridge ordered in September. The seller is asking me to send back the item at my cost of $17.00 with no guarantee of reimbursement, even though I paid $9.99 for the item. I am hesitant to return it without a prepaid label from the seller. I have requested the seller to provide me with the return label before I send back the item by September 20, [redacted].

I am concerned that I may have fallen for a scam involving a "second chance offer" on an item I bid on. The seller or someone connected to them may have purposely outbid me and then offered me the item at my highest bid. When I accepted the second chance offer, I realized that the item number was different from the original listing, and this occurred just moments before losing the initial bid. Since the item I bid on is unique and collectible, receiving a similar item is not acceptable. I am troubled by the lack of option to speak with a customer service agent in person, as I have found this method to be more effective than relying on FAQs or email communication. Could you please provide a direct phone number to reach customer service without being directed to a pre-recorded message? Thank you.

Hello, I am currently stationed at Francis E Warren AFB near Cheyenne, Wyoming. I have the Gator here and it's ready for a new owner. I'm offering it below market value since my training schedule restricts my ability to negotiate, as I need to sell it before my departure to Anchorage on October 20. To facilitate the sale, I've set up a transaction through eBay Motors, which includes free delivery. You'll have 5 days to test and inspect the vehicle after making a deposit in an eBay Motors trust account. If you're interested, please provide your full name, shipping address, and phone number so I can register you with eBay for the transaction. Sincerely, SSgt Karen Forbes

We recently found out that a case regarding a pair of boots we sold was opened and closed within minutes on eBay. Surprisingly, we hadn't even received the boots back at that point. Tracking the package, we discovered the boots were sent to our old address, not the current one linked to our eBay account. This led to the boots being returned to the buyer instead of reaching us for resolution. We are frustrated with eBay for not allowing us the usual time to address the situation with the buyer. We would have taken immediate action if given the chance. The boots are en route back to the buyer, potentially resulting in extra shipping costs for us. We are disappointed at not being able to rectify this situation promptly. It is unclear why we weren't granted the standard time frame to resolve this issue properly or reach eBay for assistance.

I was not contacted after our previous conversation. I believe there was misinformation regarding my tax refund. An amount of $[redacted].70 was incorrectly deducted, and I respectfully request that the refund be processed back to my credit card ending in [redacted] rather than my PayPal account. Initially, I was advised that eBay would cover the PayPal fee of $92.37, but later this information was retracted without any record of the conversation with the two agents on September 25. Aubrey mentioned there was no record of our initial refund discussion on August 25. I am concerned about potentially being charged twice for taxes on a single order, which appears to be fraudulent. I have taken additional steps by contacting the Attorney General's office and considering legal action for fraud. I insist on receiving the full refund of $[redacted].07 back to my credit card as the original payment method.

Subject: Request for Fee Credit Due to GTC Listings Revised Accidentally Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I have been a seller on eBay for the past four years, but this year has been particularly challenging. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my business was closed for five months, resulting in a significant financial loss with no income. While I managed to restart my business, I encountered difficulties with my new eBay manager, who did not provide me with the free listings I had been accustomed to receiving over the years. All my listings are in the Good 'Til Canceled (GTC) format, leaving me with no choice but to end my live listings. Unfortunately, on September 22nd, I overlooked checking my items due to the distressing circumstances of losing a family member to COVID-19. I have reached out to my manager via email regarding this issue but have not received a response in the past ten days despite multiple attempts to contact him through various channels. This is an incredibly challenging time for me and my family, both financially and emotionally. I am currently unable to absorb this loss, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide during this crisis. Thank you.

I bought two credit cards totaling $[redacted] on 7/14/20 after being contacted by Direct TV for a supposed bill discount if I paid with an EBay Gift Card. Regrettably, it turned out to be a scam. Subsequently, I used $[redacted] on purchases. Unfortunately, one item, a portable air conditioner, was faulty, and upon return, the refunded credit did not apply to my recent purchase of perfume, causing me to be charged the full amount. I am unsure how to utilize the remaining credit from the returned item as I no longer have the card, only the receipt. Additionally, I still possess the $[redacted] card with its receipt but did not use it in time before it was fraudulently used. Any advice on recovering these funds would be appreciated. Thank you for your assistance. Carla B.

I initially contacted eBay regarding my purchase issue within the warranty period. After being advised to contact PayPal, I submitted a dispute which ended in the seller's favor with no option to dispute further. Subsequently, I spoke to Charles from eBay who assured me they would intervene with the seller on my behalf. Since the purchase on 6/6/[redacted], I swiftly received the item but found missing pieces during assembly. After resolving it locally, the VFD inverter malfunctioned, and the seller was uncooperative until the PayPal dispute. Opting to repair the item locally proved costly, prompting me to buy a replacement from Amazon for expedited operation of the machine, however, the new inverter was also faulty. The lack of seller assistance, redirection to PayPal by eBay due to the warranty, and the seller's dismissive reaction compound my issue. I simply seek reimbursement for the replacement item. Furthermore, I am unable to revise my positive feedback given prior to the equipment failure.

Hello, good morning! I just found out through my email that my motor order has been canceled. I've been waiting for this motor for almost 2 weeks, and I'm tired of not working because my vehicle has been waiting for the motor I bought on your app. I have already paid the mechanic for this job, and I have only wasted time and money, which I cannot afford to lose more of. The app keeps loading and does not allow me to access it. I urgently need a refund to my account so I can buy another motor right away. In my email, you mentioned that my refund should already be processed, but as of today, I have not received it. I hope you do it as soon as possible, please. I need to purchase another motor. I hope you process my refund today because I cannot afford to be without a vehicle. I will appreciate your prompt response and attention. Have a good day. Regarding the app, I will be deleting it because it's the only app where I buy, and I always have problems. Thank you!
