I made a purchase on eBay from the seller brerho_62 but never received the item. When I contacted her, she said the item was delivered on time to the correct address and insinuated that I had received it and was falsely claiming otherwise to get a refund. She threatened to report me to eBay and PayPal. I feel unfairly accused and threatened by the seller. This situation is very frustrating for me, especially since I genuinely did not receive the Vintage Anthropomorphic Pear Salt And Pepper #[redacted]08. If this is how sellers are allowed to treat buyers without consequences, I am considering taking down my listings and closing my eBay page.

Hello, I recently ordered a wireless extender with order number 10-05[redacted]9. Unfortunately, upon receiving it, I realized it was not functioning. I contacted technical support for assistance. During the call, they requested access to my computer and began searching through my wireless networks, even including my neighbors'. The call came from a private number, and they further requested my router's username and password. I became suspicious when I heard someone in the background and decided to disconnect. The individual on the call insisted I stay on the line, which raised red flags for me. I suspect this company is selling counterfeit items and engaging in fraudulent activities by posing as technical support. I advise caution and recommend investigating this seller's credibility.

I've encountered issues with my recent order from the beginning. After the delivery date passed, I reached out to the seller. They mentioned the package was (OTW), which likely means "on the way." When my husband went to collect it today, the postal clerk found a small package resembling it contained five CDs. The clerk mentioned the shipping fee wasn't paid, and accepting it would cost $26.35. I have the clerk's information if necessary. The ad advertised a CD bundle with a $5 shipping cost, scheduled for delivery on September 11th, but it arrived on the 21st. I informed the seller of the situation, as I only bid on the item based on the ad's details. I'm unsure how to resolve this issue. Thank you, Linda.

There is a concerning pattern of fraud happening in violin sales where sellers misrepresent the items, and eBay supports returns. Sellers then claim the returned violin was damaged during shipping and collect payment. I recently sent back a Carl Meisel violin due to defects, as per an Atlanta Violin billing list. USPS later claimed significant damage during return shipping, which I find suspicious. Despite my efforts to dispute this, the claim went through due to Covid-19 limitations. I also bought a more expensive $[redacted] violin, which I now want to return as it has serious internal damage according to luthiers. I suspect the seller may be exploiting the insurance on return shipping. This fraudulent practice seems to be facilitated by the current situation. I have experienced significant financial loss and stress dealing with this. I have decided to be cautious with future eBay purchases.

I have encountered multiple problems with items purchased on eBay recently. Two disputes I raised months ago are still pending. One shoe caused significant foot damage, and after two months, the issue persists, and I haven't received a refund. I also faced an issue with oversized pants that I agreed to return. However, I had to cover both shipping fees, amounting to the item's price. The seller alleged the returned pants were soiled, despite my not even trying them on. Today, I received pants with two holes, sparking concern about my interaction with the seller. I shared photos of the damage with them. Dealing with uncooperative sellers on legitimate claims is making eBay purchases more costly due to the time spent on resolving such matters. I urge eBay to intervene as PayPal is unresponsive, and these issues lie with your sellers. Thank you, Ghada B.

This is my second attempt to address an issue without receiving a response. I am a potential eBay buyer, not a seller and I believe I do not have an account with them. When I tried to make a purchase, my transaction was interrupted, and I received an unexpected message stating my account was permanently suspended without any chance of appeal. Since then, I have been unable to use eBay for purchases. Although I have resolved the credit card issue with my bank that arose following this incident, the eBay problem still persists. I am looking to speak with a knowledgeable eBay representative directly as I suspect the legitimacy of JUST ANSWERS. How can I reach eBay?

I recently discovered I fell victim to a scam involving Alex P. from eBay posing as a Financial Manager, and Rose L. Sousa. I mistakenly transferred $[redacted] into Craciun Manuel Mondoc's account at Cuscal Limited, with BSB: [redacted]-[redacted] and Account Number: [redacted]34. I received emails regarding Order Number [redacted] from what seemed like eBay, using the email address [redacted] Being relatively new to eBay, I believed the correspondence was valid. I am reaching out for assistance in recovering my funds. As someone receiving Centrelink benefits and struggling with mental health challenges, this experience has been distressing. Residing in Australia, my email is New Zealand-based. Although I have an eBay account, it has had minimal activity. The transaction was for a [redacted] Toyota Prado. Any help resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased these earbuds with the expectation that they would arrive in four days. Despite ordering on the 8th, I had to wait until the 20th for delivery. The package reached the Dominican Republic on August 26th. Attempts to cancel before shipment failed, as the seller claimed it wasn't possible. Even after indicating I no longer wanted the item due to delayed shipping, the seller only discussed return procedures. I sought guidance on returning the non-functional earbud, but my requests were ignored. Now that I have received it, the right earbud is defective despite following charging instructions. My attempts to contact the seller four days ago remain unanswered. I am pushing for a replacement or refund. I am willing to return the item, but the seller should cover shipping costs since I already paid to receive a delayed and defective product. It is unfair that I am bearing the burden of the delays and quality issues caused by the seller's actions.

Hello, I recently accessed my eBay account and attempted to update my mobile number. However, I couldn't log in afterwards because the system still has my old number. I am concerned about the continued changes made to my account without my permission and have sought legal advice regarding this matter. I value my account security and have the expertise to handle it myself. Please rectify the mobile number issue promptly and refrain from altering any other settings. Feel free to contact me at [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] to discuss this further. Thank you for your attention to this matter before it escalates.

To whom it may concern, I recently received a damaged necklace chain in my order. The necklace arrived broken into two pieces. My order number is 11-05[redacted]6. I contacted the seller regarding the issue, but they requested that I return the item. Unfortunately, I no longer have the damaged necklace as I disposed of it upon realizing its condition. In my years of using eBay, it has typically been sufficient to provide photographic evidence of the damage for a refund without returning the item. Despite explaining this to the seller, they are now unwilling to issue a refund. I kindly request a refund for the damaged necklace. Thank you.

I purchased shoes from Jans-Alex and unfortunately, after only four times of wear, the soles have disintegrated. I received the shoes on June 30th and despite it being almost three months, I have only worn them a few times. They are Ecco shoes, known for their durability, and I own several pairs that have lasted for years under normal use. The order number for the Ecco brown leather shoes in size 6 is 27-05[redacted]4 with the item number [redacted]11. I have contacted the seller, sent photos, but they have refused to take any action. The shoes cost £22.00 with £3.90 for postage.

I returned a defective item and the seller accepted the return but provided an incorrect return shipping label. After several attempts to get the correct label and clarification on a 10% restocking fee for a faulty product, I ended up paying for the return shipping to meet the deadline. The seller opened a claim on Ebay, leading to my refund being denied on August 29, [redacted]. I have appealed this decision but have yet to receive an update. My email is [redacted]

Every time I visit eBay, I encounter a lot of obstacles trying to log in. I am unsure what my other username is, as I use different devices. I reside in two homes and use a desktop in one and an iPad laptop in the other. There are too many old sign-ins that keep popping up. Dealing with Captcha repeatedly is frustrating. I have a new phone number, [redacted], but eBay won't accept it. Now I have to wait 24 hours to prove my identity. I am not tech-savvy and do not text. I wanted to disconnect from online platforms due to these issues. I am concerned about the security of my account. I attempted to purchase cafe curtains but was unsuccessful. I have questions regarding the number of devices allowed on eBay. Trying to provide my email was also unsuccessful. I appreciate any help or advice anyone can offer.

Subject: Assistance Needed with E-Bay Order #22-05[redacted]2 Hello, I am disappointed by the lack of response from E-Bay regarding my order for suction cups placed on August 5, [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with the seller, I have not received a satisfactory resolution. I have sent detailed emails to the Resolution Center but have only received one response indicating that I would be contacted at the beginning of the following week. However, this did not happen, and I am still awaiting assistance. I urge you to review my previous correspondences and provide a prompt resolution to this matter. The seller initially agreed to the return but failed to provide the necessary information, leaving me unable to proceed. I look forward to hearing from you promptly to avoid any further delays in resolving this issue. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Marta L. from Portland, OR

I have two return cases that require clarification on how to proceed. For the first instance, a customer bought a sofa set but reported it as "not as described," mentioning it was smaller than expected. The dimensions were clearly stated in my listing. Despite several attempts to communicate, the customer has not responded after mentioning she would set it up to see how it looks. In the second case, the listing clearly stated a 3-piece sofa set, including a sofa, loveseat, and ottoman. However, the customer expected 4 pieces. She claimed an eBay representative confirmed her misconception, though I believe otherwise. I have shown her the 4-piece listing, but that wasn't her choice. I contacted eBay for assistance a few days ago due to the high value of these items, but I am still waiting for the promised call from a specialized team member. Any help would be appreciated.

I encountered an issue trying to track my package. Tracking UPAAC[redacted][redacted] shows it arrived in Kelowna, BC, damaged and got sent back to the sender. The timestamp indicates it was at 2:00PM on Sept 25, which seems inaccurate for that time of day. Additionally, the domestic tracking number provided is [redacted]10, it appears to be a FedEx number, but when tracked, it shows it was delivered to FedEx in Kentucky en route. I tried to intercept the package before it gets returned, but I am unable to determine the carrier that delivered it to Kelowna, BC. The tracking details seem to be questionable to me. I am worried that after waiting several weeks for shipping, the item is being sent back, and I paid for it. My car needs the repair part. I hope to get a refund, as I am concerned about the authenticity of the order site and tracking details.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding an issue I encountered with my eBay account. In early September, my account was suspended without any explanation provided. After researching, I discovered that I needed to make an instant payment of $1 to resolve the issue, which I promptly did. Despite this, my account remained suspended. As a result, I created a new account against eBay's advice in an attempt to regain access, but both accounts were ultimately suspended. I am now unable to use either account. I am eager to resolve this matter and continue using eBay for my transactions. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I found an item on eBay for a friend, a water pump and timing belt kit for a [redacted] Honda Odyssey 3.5. The seller advertised it with a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, after driving [redacted] miles, the new timing belt broke, resulting in significant engine damage. I contacted the seller, who offered only $30 in compensation. Repair estimates for the engine range from $[redacted] to $[redacted]. I am seeking advice on how to resolve this matter with the seller. Thank you, Jim G.

I bought an item on eBay that never arrived. Upon contacting the seller, I was explained the issue they are facing with eBay's Managed Payments. The seller mentioned that eBay has not transferred the money from the sale to their account due to verification issues. Despite attempting to resolve the matter through multiple customer service calls, eBay has not fixed the problem. The seller highlighted the discrepancies between their two eBay accounts - one functioning without issues and the other facing payment problems. The frustration with eBay's lack of assistance was evident in the seller's message, pointing out the inefficiency of customer service. The seller seemed powerless in rectifying the situation and acknowledged eBay's indifference to individual seller issues in the grand scheme of their millions of users worldwide.

I purchased two shoe racks from this seller, and the items are extremely faulty. Firstly, the unit cannot stand alone and needs to be secured to the wall for safety, especially around children. The front doors are heavy and imbalanced, posing a danger. Secondly, the slide mechanism is defective; it falls off when attempting to open the doors and lacks the necessary strength to support them. The side panels are meant to be screwed onto the doors, but the screws are loose and do not stay in place. Unfortunately, these issues were only discovered after assembly. Contacting the seller has been unsuccessful, with no response after multiple emails to their offshore call center in the Philippines. I have a long-standing history with eBay and believe sellers like this should be banned from the platform. My order details are: New 60 Pairs Wood Shoe Storage Cabinet 4-Rack Mirrored Footwear Organiser White, with the provided order, item, and seller IDs for reference.
