I purchased an item that I returned because it was defective. The seller immediately accepted the return and gave me a return shipping label for USPS that was not appropriate for the item I was returning. A couple days later, they emailed and said that they could re-calibrate. I said I wanted to return. I told them that the label was not appropriate for the item and requested the correct one. No response. I followed up and was told that they would provide me with a label but that they could recalibrate and that there would now be a **% restock fee. I responded saying that I should have been told initially and also questioned why there would be a restock fee on a defective item. No response. I also again requested the label. No response. I then went ahead and paid for the return shipping because of the approaching deadline. I sent them the information on when it would be received by them. They opened a claim with Ebay then. Ebay denied my ENTIRE refund. This was on August **, ****. I immediately appealed but have not heard anything from Ebay. I would like to know my status since the seller was not truthful and does now have the defective product in their custody. The email connected to my account is *****@***.com.
