The refund process seems to be stuck in limbo with unresolved details, and I'm unable to escalate the issue or benefit from eBay's guarantee.

I registered an account on July 31 to monitor a specific item that went above my budget. Although I didn't place a bid, I continued to observe it. I also viewed some "haunted" items but refrained from bidding. On Aug. 8, I received an email stating indefinite suspension due to unspecified security concerns. There wasn't any explanation about the flagged activity, and no option for an appeal or new account setup. The only prior message in my eBay inbox was a welcome message from July 31. I'm puzzled as to what suspicious behavior was detected since I only watched an item without participating in any bidding, purchasing, or selling activities. I tried contacting eBay's customer support but the automated system redirected me to the website and abruptly disconnected the call.

I purchased a $[redacted] eBay card from a store to buy an iPhone. Despite the phone being described as working, the sellers refused to provide the password and claimed it was only for parts. After involving eBay, I returned the phone, received a refund, but now I can't use my eBay card with a $[redacted] balance. I'm frustrated as I want to recover my money. On August 5th, I purchased a right side brake caliper for a [redacted] Audi A6 from a-premium-us for $53.69 using a credit card. The expected delivery date was August 12th or 13th. The order number is 13-05[redacted]4. According to an email from eBay on August 11th, the item was delivered to the Moline Acres Police Department/City Hall on August 10th at 9:42 pm CST. However, upon checking the security cameras, there was no FedEx vehicle present at that time. The address is [redacted] Chambers Road, Moline Acres, MO. As this is a business address, it's concerning that the package was supposedly delivered to a closed facility. I have contacted eBay and the seller regarding the missing item, but eBay closed the case without issuing a refund on August 19th, despite the unresolved delivery issue. I urge eBay to investigate this matter further as I have not received the item I paid for. It is important to address this situation promptly. Thank you. I'm having difficulty accessing my eBay account linked to Case ID [redacted]. After selling merchandise and shipping it to a buyer who then disputed the sale, eBay refunded the buyer without returning my item or offering assistance, leaving me frustrated. I have reached out multiple times for help, providing proof of my attempts to contact eBay at specific dates and times, but have received poor communication and no resolution. eBay's request for verification from an inaccessible account adds to my frustration. I am now considering legal action and filing a report with BBB due to the lack of assistance and disrespect I have encountered. eBay's handling of this matter has been disappointing and unprofessional.

I recently completed a sale on eBay, and the buyer decided to return the item for a refund. I processed the refund on Aug 3 for $[redacted].00 with PayPal Transaction ID: 4CK90120JJ360283H. However, after I received a confirmation email from PayPal on Aug 6, the buyer filed a claim with eBay for "Buyer Protection," stating she did not receive the refund. Surprisingly, eBay approved her claim, resulting in a second refund to her. This time the refund was charged to my credit card. It's frustrating that the buyer received two refunds for the same return. I am puzzled as to why PayPal and eBay did not coordinate on this issue. I am requesting a refund of $[redacted].00 to be credited back to my PayPal Account or my credit card. Thank you.

I recently ordered a scanner thermometer but unfortunately, the battery flap wouldn't stay closed, rendering the unit inoperable. After contacting the seller, they offered a partial refund, which I attempted to make work unsuccessfully. Despite changing the batteries and trying different approaches, the device still wouldn't turn on. The seller requested a video demonstration, which I couldn't provide due to technical limitations. Despite explaining this, the seller only offered the partial refund option again, making me feel like they were avoiding the issue. I escalated the matter to the resolution center, only to have my claim denied on the basis of having received the item. However, the item was received damaged, as I initially reported. I am having an issue with the seller regarding order number 21-05[redacted]5 and my return ID [redacted]. I received the Louis Garneau Tri [redacted] Cycling shoes size 7.5 Men's on August 13th. Unfortunately, the shoes did not fit and seemed more suited for a women's petite size rather than a men's 7.5. I have returned the item, but the seller is refusing to accept the return stating it was sold as is with no returns. I have only the post office receipt as proof of return, not a formal acceptance slip. I encountered two mistakes in my transactions today. I attempted to print a shipping label for a buyer who hadn't paid, and I received an incorrect label. I sought a refund at the Post Office, and they advised cancelling the label on eBay for a refund. Unfortunately, trying to cancel it sent a request to void a previous sale to a different buyer from days ago. I fear this may lead to the cancellation of the shipment from several days back, complicating today's refund process. I recently made a purchase on Ebay using bank transfer. However, shortly after, I received a notification that the seller's account had been de-registered due to a problem and it stated that I had not paid, even though I had. I have filed a complaint with Ebay but am required to wait for a response that is unlikely to come. I discovered that Ebay's money back guarantee only applies to specific payment methods, but bank transfer is recognized in their policy. I believe Ebay should assist in recovering the funds as they manage the selling process and prohibit direct communication between buyers and sellers. I have evidence of payment to the seller's bank account, which is documented within Ebay's messaging system. I am seeking Ebay's help in resolving this issue and obtaining a refund due to the fraudulent transaction facilitated through their platform.

I placed an order for seatbelts on June 9, [redacted] and received them shortly after. I took them to my mechanic for installation, but they were locked and couldn't be installed. I contacted the seller right away, and they offered to send a replacement pair or refund me. I asked for a newer replacement and confirmed my request. The seller mentioned all seatbelts were old, and I inquired about the next steps for the seatbelt I had. Unfortunately, since that message, I haven't heard back despite trying to reach out multiple times. I mentioned my intention to escalate the issue on eBay. Hello, I purchased an item from one of your sellers, who has opened a dispute to request a refund claiming that my address was not verified. I have rejected this cancellation request. The seller has come back again, stating that they will refund me this time because eBay did not charge the correct amount. I want to receive my item and I am frustrated, tired of being messed around by these sellers. There always seems to be an excuse for not receiving our purchased items, and eBay seems to ignore all of this. Honestly, please take charge and resolve these darn issues once and for all. I contested Ebay's decision on a return for vintage boots. Ebay advised a $40 refund to the buyer, which I issued. They promised to cover the remaining $40.24. Unexpectedly, Ebay withdrew $40.24 from my Paypal against their reassurance not to do so. I seek the $40.24 refund back to my Paypal account promptly. I am disappointed as my package, containing a car part, was delivered to the wrong address. The delivery was made to [redacted] Dalebrook, Houston, TX [redacted] when I clearly provided [redacted] Crane St. Apt. 1, Houston, Texas [redacted] as the shipping address. The individuals at the wrong address state they do not have my package. I did not request a redirect as I have not resided at that location for over six months. Now, I find myself without the essential item I ordered, causing a loss of both my money and the product. The residents at the incorrect address claim they received no such package. There seems to be a mistake, as there is no Mercedes parked at that location. I urgently require my car part or a refund.

I made an offer of $60.00 on a pair of Harley Davidson boots, which the seller accepted. I paid $60.00 for the boots, $27.00 for shipping, and $12.00 for import fees. The seller contacted me later saying there were additional charges of $47.00 for shipping and import fees, but I refused to pay as I had already covered those costs. I urged the seller to send the boots promptly, but have not received a response. It seems like the seller is trying to recoup some money after selling the boots at a lower price. I expect the package to be sent without further delays. If not, I would like a refund plus compensation for the inconvenience and stress caused. I believe sellers like this should face consequences for such behavior on eBay. Thank you.

I am here to report a suspicious activity I encountered on 8/19/20. It appears to be a scam involving a seller using eBay for a transaction. Thankfully, I was unable to open the PDF file to submit payment. The first red flag is that I do not have an eBay account, so receiving an invoice seemed odd. The email from the seller included an eBay Motors - Order ID # [redacted]12 for a [redacted] Toyota Tacoma 4WD Crew Cab with a total amount due of USD $1,[redacted].00. The seller claims to be in Billings, Montana, at the Air Force Base, and mentions that eBay will facilitate the transaction. However, this seems suspicious. The sender's email addresses are [redacted] and [redacted] Be cautious about responding to such emails or providing personal information. Thank you.

When searching for car parts on eBay, I've noticed that the car compatibility feature often provides inaccurate information. Over the years, I've encountered issues with this function when looking up parts for six different models. Recently, I was searching for spark plugs and encountered another problem. For example, consider item number [redacted]36. When selecting the Holden Rodeo [redacted] with RA platform/chassis 3.5i (TFR26), it was marked as not compatible. However, when choosing the Holden Rodeo [redacted] with RA platform/chassis 3.5i 4x4 (TFR26), it showed compatibility. The discrepancy arises from the fact that spark plugs are engine-related and not influenced by features like the differential or transfer case present in 4x4 vehicles. Since both vehicles have the same engine, the spark plugs should be compatible. It's puzzling why the compatibility checker indicates otherwise.

Hello, I recently made a purchase on eBay for a painting from a seller based in New York. Shortly after the transaction, the seller informed me that the painting couldn't be located in the warehouse. After declining their offer of a replacement painting, I agreed to wait for a few days in hopes that they would find the original one. Eventually, the seller reached out to let me know they were sending the painting my way. Unfortunately, upon delivery, I discovered that the painting had suffered damage due to improper packaging. I contacted the seller, who advised me to take pictures of the damaged item since it was insured. The seller mentioned needing to speak with UPS before moving forward. Hello, good afternoon. I am a new eBay user and on January 12th, I ordered (3) reconditioned ceiling fans with a warranty for my cabin under construction. Due to weather and Covid, my construction was delayed. I recently opened and installed (2) fans, but the third fan I received was missing 3 major pieces and had a bent shaft. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach the seller and eBay does not recognize my order number. It seems like I may have lost $[redacted].
