I bought an item on eBay that was listed as being in the USA. However, I received it from Australia after only 2 days. The charge was in US dollars for both the item and postage. When I raised my concerns and wanted to return the item, I was provided with a return address in Miami, Florida, which doesn't match the Victorian address on the package from Ozhuntandbows PTY LTD in Australia at 6 Blissington Street Springvale VIC [redacted]. The situation seems suspicious as the item from their website is listed as out of stock, and it's priced at $36.00 Australian, but I was charged $95.74. The eBay seller is sellsim_2day_shipping, and I worry about incurring additional costs if I return the item to the USA.

I recently received an item that does not match the description provided. The issues I have encountered are: 1. The bulb received is not a UVC bulb as advertised but a blue high-intensity bulb. 2. The ozone bactericidal sterilizer option is non-functional. 3. The item lacks the mogul base timer that was supposed to be included. I am trying to process a refund, but the website times out whenever I attempt to do so. Additionally, the item has disappeared from my purchase history. I had a previous case opened regarding this item when it was not received, but the case closed once I received the package. Now that I have realized the discrepancies, I need assistance in initiating a refund. I am willing to return the item to the seller, but I require eBay to allow me to open a new case. Product Details: 60W UV Ozone Germicidal Sterilizer UVC Corn Light Bulb E26/E27 Mogul Base Timer $32.80 Purchased on 4/11/20 at 12:13 AM

I have been ordering items from your company for some time. Unfortunately, I made a mistake with my password and despite trying various methods to access my account, I was locked out. After several attempts and using temporary passwords, my account was suspended for violating security procedures. I have been a loyal customer and enjoy using your platform to shop. I reached out to customer service, and I was advised to create a new account with a different email and password. I followed the instructions given, only to receive a notification that my account was being suspended. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter so I can continue to shop with your reliable company.

Regarding order 17-04[redacted]9, I would like to address the following: I placed this order, and the seller requested payment via bank transfer instead of the usual credit card payment. Subsequently, Ebay informed me not to pay as the order was canceled, but I had already done so. Additionally, I requested the seller's email address to send a copy of the bank transfer. How can I get back the money I paid at that time? The seller's email address provided to me is [redacted], to which I sent the requested bank transfer. Even though Ebay does not show this payment, I can provide a copy of the transfer. Please let me know how to proceed; it's frustrating to have to give up this money at this time. Thank you.

The seller mistakenly shipped my order to my previous address, causing me to miss out on receiving the package. Despite proof from Royal Mail that it was signed for at the incorrect address, eBay declined my refund request stating it was delivered. The current address on my eBay account is 87 Davies Avenue, Bryncethin, CF32 9JL, not 25 Plourin Road, CF33 4PZ, my former address. I am seeking a refund for the undelivered item as I believe I should not be held responsible for the error. I kindly ask for a closer review of my case to facilitate the refund process efficiently.

I recently purchased an Ebay gift card from CVS, but unfortunately, it turned out to be defective. Despite its initial good condition, upon scratching off the gray spot to reveal the thirteen-digit redemption code, I discovered that the last few numbers are missing. Out of the thirteen digits, I can clearly make out only seven numbers, one appears to be a seven, and the remaining five are unreadable. I have both the card and the receipt from CVS in my possession. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue and getting my money refunded. Thank you for your help.

I bought this item on April 11 and quickly realized I selected the wrong size. I messaged the seller right away to see if I could swap it for the correct size, but got no response for a week. The seller claimed it was too late as the item was already with the shipper, which seemed dishonest. Despite sending multiple polite requests over the next 3 weeks for a refund, I heard nothing back. I noticed a few days ago that the order I mistakenly placed was on back order. I promptly asked the seller to cancel my order, but once again, no response. I have been a loyal eBay user with a good buying history. This is my first troubling experience, especially because the seller is unreasonably unresponsive. I simply want my $[redacted].20 refunded. Your assistance is appreciated.

Hello, my name is Tracy and I have been purchasing items on eBay for years. Recently, I encountered an issue with a seller named greenwise-99. On 4/26/20, I bid on a Roku item, number [redacted]57, for $26. However, when I tried to buy it, I received a message stating that the seller couldn't sell the item. Confused, I contacted the seller with no response until the next day after multiple emails. The seller explained there was an issue with their account and requested me to change my feedback to positive, which I couldn't do without receiving the item first. Subsequently, on 4/30, I purchased a different item from another seller and informed greenwise-99 that I no longer wanted their item. The seller became rude when I mentioned changing the feedback and even called me names. I feel disrespected and harassed by this seller, and I want to report them to eBay to cease further communication with me. I believe this seller's behavior is unacceptable, as I value respectful interactions when making purchases.

I recently purchased an amplifier from Tracktown Treasures in Springfield, OR. Upon receiving the parcel, I was disappointed to find visual damage and a malfunctioning button that was not disclosed in the ad prior to my purchase. Initially, I considered returning the item, but with the current situation with viruses, I opted to keep it and requested a partial refund. The seller, however, informed me that a partial refund was not possible as I initiated a return transaction on eBay.ca. I feel that my concerns are not being addressed by the seller, and I am unsure how to proceed to achieve a fair resolution. This is my first experience with such an issue, and I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed. Thank you for your assistance. Stay safe and have a great day.

The seller known as "backyard40" has taken an antique [redacted] Packard Gas Cap worth $[redacted],[redacted] that belongs to me. The theft occurred while I was filling up my gas tank at night in Boulder City, Nevada. Despite many people being around, the cap was taken from the pump where I left it momentarily. Several weeks later, I came across the stolen cap listed on Ebay. I reached out to the seller but noticed the item reappeared the following day with a different location in Chelsea, Michigan, instead of Prescott, Arizona, as originally claimed. The seller's history shows minimal activity, with just one sale in nine months. This suspicious behavior needs to be reported to the authorities so that not only can my unique and precious cap be returned, but also this seller can be held accountable for their actions.

Regarding: eBay Purchase - Item Number [redacted][redacted] Dear Sir or Madam, On April 14, [redacted], I lawfully purchased the aforementioned item on the eBay platform - eBay.com, and also paid for it, including shipping and customs fees. According to eBay's terms and conditions, I entered into a legal contractual relationship by making the purchase, which obligates me to accept and pay for the item. This purchase contract was breached by one of your employees at your global shipping center in Erlanger, Kentucky, absurdly claiming that the item might be unauthorized. No further explanation was provided, only that the seller would not get the item back. Quite strange business practices indeed. I have not found any import restrictions or export limitations for this carburetor in your terms and conditions. I view your arbitrary and unjustified actions here as similar to the methods used by the Stasi in the GDR, which enriched themselves with interventions in postal and shipping services by embezzling and stealing from parcels during the GDR era. In this case, I suspect personal enrichment or theft by one of your employees, who simply pocketed this approximately 60-year-old original Cadillac carburetor for personal use and falsely labeled it as an unauthorized item to cover up the theft and possibly use it for personal gain. Therefore, I expect a full explanation of the incident, prompt delivery of the item, and the seller to receive their payment. According to my research on the internet, this arbitrary act was not an isolated incident. It has occurred more often where items purchased by eBay buyers have been misappropriated under the flimsy pretext of being unauthorized items. In one case involving a collector of old mining lamps, items that were previously purchased successfully were labeled as unauthorized and unjustly confiscated in between. This is pure, unlawful arbitrariness reminiscent of the GDR era in the Eastern Bloc. If a satisfactory outcome is not reached, I reserve the right to discuss this outrageous incident on social media. This practice undermines the legal security of innocent eBay buyers worldwide. There is now a constant uncertainty that a lawfully acquired item on the US market might be seized during shipping and possibly vanish into criminal hands. I want to emphasize that this issue is not resolved by refunding the purchase price. I insist on the fulfillment of the purchase contract unlawfully broken by eBay. Sincerely, Funger

I was in contact with someone using the email [redacted] claiming to be Alice Cooper on offer up. She was selling a [redacted] Honda Accord. She mentioned it belonged to her deceased husband and that she was about to leave the country for military duty with her medical team. I was asked to buy $[redacted] worth of eBay gift cards and send them to an email for eBay motors. After sending the gift cards, I changed my mind, but the car was never delivered, and I have not received a refund. I see that this person is still selling the same car with the same story on offer up. My mother has also been corresponding with her. I am looking for assistance in getting my money back.

I recently sent $1,[redacted] for a [redacted] Honda [redacted] four-wheeler to a woman. All the details were in the emails from the seller stating that all I needed to do was pay $1,[redacted] and it would be shipped to me. I purchased the Bay cards and made the payment as instructed. However, I have now received an email requesting an additional $[redacted] for shipping insurance, which was not part of our initial agreement. I have tried calling the number provided but no one answers. It has been over a week since I sent the money, and I have not received any responses. I am frustrated and just want to either get my money back or receive the four-wheeler as agreed. This situation is becoming unreasonable, and I feel like my trust has been taken advantage of. If I have to pay the insurance, I would like a refund of the $1,[redacted] I initially paid.

I bought 6 items from a seller based on their pictures, but one item was not what I expected, and it wasn't in the picture. The seller didn't inform me of any potential substitutions before shipping. Additionally, the seller reused a box with an old shipping label, causing a delay in delivery. I contacted the seller, requesting a replacement stand for the incorrect item. The seller offered a refund, but I declined as I prefer the stand I paid for. The seller agreed to send a replacement stand and instructed me to return the incorrect item by writing "return to sender" on the box. I'm concerned this might cause issues with the postal service. Can eBay provide me with a return shipping label to help resolve this issue? Thank you.

Hello eBay Customer Support, I am seeking assistance with obtaining a refund from the seller youlian_store2018. Despite canceling my order immediately due to a mismatch in the delivery date, the filling machine was still delivered on 23/04 in damaged packaging with a large dent on the lid, appearing wet and greasy on the inside. This did not meet the expected new condition. Following Jennifer's instructions, I returned the item to Tony at the DHL warehouse in Parramatta. My next payment with Afterpay is due this week. Please see below for order details: ORDER DATE: Apr 21, [redacted] ORDER NUMBER: 20-04[redacted]2 SOLD BY: youlian_store2018(1 item) ORDER TOTAL: AU $[redacted].90 Thank you for your attention in addressing this matter promptly.

I placed an order for an item, but it wasn't linked to my account. Unfortunately, I had trouble resetting my password at the time of purchase. I have the order number, which is 03-04[redacted]9. After gaining access to my account last Friday, I was surprised to receive an email informing me that my account was suspended, which I find confusing. The power steering control valve I ordered was supposed to arrive by April 6, [redacted], but it's now May and I have yet to receive it. When I contacted the seller on May 1, [redacted], they mentioned I need to return my old part for rebuilding, even though the ad indicated receiving the rebuilt part first. This discrepancy has prompted me to seek clarification and resolve the issue, whether it's getting a refund or the correct item. I also need assistance understanding why my eBay account was suspended. Your help in resolving these matters is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I received an email from eBay customer service, and it seems they are unsure about the item I returned. The item, a Chanel belt with item number [redacted]98, was sent back by me, but it has not reached me in 22 days. I had an agreement with eBay that the customer pays for the return shipping, and even though I agreed to the return, eBay refunded the buyer without returning my item. I now want a refund deposited into my account promptly. If eBay does not resolve this soon, I will escalate the matter to the Better Business Bureau. I expect the refund in my account within the next two business days. Thank you, Helena G.
