I purchased a mobile phone at the same time my daughter bought from another seller. I cancelled immediately upon realizing and saw it had not been dispatched, with PayPal indicating it was pending. I reached out to the seller multiple times to explain the cancellation, but received no response. After three days, I noticed the item had been dispatched. I received the phone now, but I need to return it and do not want to cover the return shipping costs. I spoke with an eBay customer service representative who assured me that I would not be charged for the return, but asked me to wait until I receive further instructions.

Dear Sir/Madam, I received an email today, 31st December [redacted], informing me about the suspension of my eBay account. The message stated concerns with my recent activity, resulting in the account suspension and removal of item listings. I am puzzled by this action as I was only engaging in two auctions to purchase an RC toy. While bidding in one auction, I received a warning about my activity, though my intention was solely to buy the item without causing harm to any eBay members. I am unsure about the reason for the suspension and would like to contact eBay customer service for clarification. Kind regards, psy._83

I purchased a Foxwell code reader and was promised a refund upon returning it. The seller mentioned refunding the money to my PayPal account despite my debit card payment. I haven't used PayPal in years and my old phone number, [redacted], is no longer valid, making it challenging to access my account. I wonder why the refund wasn't sent back to my original bank account. I'm eager to receive my refund, or I may consider contacting my bank to explore other options for getting my money back.

I am currently experiencing an issue when attempting to specify the actual shipping cost in my shipping preferences. Despite receiving assistance from a customer service representative, I was unable to resolve the problem. Consequently, I have resorted to inputting a fixed shipping cost. Additionally, I am unsure whether my current selling post quantity is set to 10 or [redacted] as indicated on another page within my account. I have bookmarked the page for reference in case further assistance is needed. Wishing you a Happy New Year!

Hi Dorijacobu_0, I am having an issue with the shipping address for the DC Inverter 50 Amp Air Plasma Cutter Welding Welder Machine I purchased from you. The tracking number LW[redacted]66CN shows that the destination country is listed as the USA instead of South Africa where I reside. I sent you messages through eBay but have not received a response yet. I have attached photos displaying my correct shipping address at the bottom of the page. I am Colin De Souza, a buyer from South Africa, and my order details are: - Item Number: [redacted]00 - Order Date: Sunday, Dec 29, [redacted] - Payment Method: Credit Card I am concerned about the shipment going to the wrong country and would appreciate clarification from you regarding this discrepancy. Your prompt attention to this matter would be highly appreciated. Thank you, Mr. De Souza

I made a purchase of towels from Myers online on December 14th. $82.25 was deducted from my PayPal account, including a 20% eBay discount. Unfortunately, Myers did not receive the order, so I contacted their customer service. They suggested requesting a refund from eBay since the payment was made through PayPal. If I reorder from Myers, they will honor their discount, but I will lose the 20% eBay discount, resulting in a new total of $[redacted].82, instead of the original $82.25. I am requesting a refund of $[redacted].82 from eBay for the new purchase, as they should honor their original discount offer. Thank you. Carol D.

I purchased two $[redacted].00 and one $50.00 eBay cards last night. I sent the cards with redemption code photos to my friend. He called this morning, stating they were already used. I returned to Rite Aid for a refund, but was denied as the activation amount on the receipt shows they were used. I believe my friend did not use them for money due to his illness. Please investigate these cards to determine if they were indeed used. Your assistance in resolving this issue is appreciated. Thank you. - B. Trevino

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing regarding my purchase of a BUSH from EBAY, for which I paid £34.98. Unfortunately, the BUSH has become unfit for purpose after just 2 months of use. Despite changing the fuse, it does not power on. Under the Consumer Rights Act [redacted], it is expected that goods sold are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. As the product has failed to meet these standards and I have experienced issues within 6 months of purchase, I am entitled to a replacement at no additional cost. I kindly request confirmation within 14 days that the necessary remedy will be provided. Yours faithfully, A. Shortridge

I purchased a Hydro Flask Stainless Steel Water Bottle in Mint Green, 32 oz, for $22.49 on 11/30/[redacted] through eBay. The item number is [redacted]56 and the order number is 16-04[redacted]3 from the seller citylifeandstyle. I was initially given an estimated delivery window of December 5, [redacted], to December 18, [redacted]. However, I later received a message informing me that the order was cancelled. I had to make a last-minute purchase from another website, and the item arrived after Christmas. I have filed a claim but was not given the option for a refund. Instead, I keep receiving emails about returning an item I never received. I simply want my money back for the cancelled item. Contacting the automated number provided was unhelpful and did not address my concerns. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

My spouse bought an IT item on eBay, but it was defective. The seller initially ignored my refund requests until eBay intervened. Despite sending the item back via Recorded Delivery with Royal Mail, the seller refused the return. The Returns Request I opened seems to have been closed by the seller, not me. The eBay Money Back Guarantee Page now only links to the closed item, hindering my ability to address the unresolved issue of not receiving a refund while the item is still in transit with Royal Mail. This has been my first issue in my many years of using eBay. dfitz980

Hello Ebay, I recently processed a refund for a purchase cancellation request from buyer "Greg Duncombe" (username: inliner-[redacted]) for item number [redacted]36. The full refund of $[redacted] AUD was completed through my Paypal account. Despite granting the cancellation without any reasons provided by the buyer, I was surprised to learn that the $5.47 Paypal transaction fee was not refunded as well. It would have been helpful for Ebay to clearly inform sellers that Paypal transaction fees are not reimbursed for cancelled orders. This lack of transparency resulted in an unexpected loss for me. I would appreciate it if Ebay could update their cancellation policy to include this important detail. Thank you for your attention. Regards, Trevor Taylor (username: fancy_tote)

I recently started selling on eBay and believed that fees were deducted from each transaction. On the 2nd or 3rd of January, I discovered that fees were not automatically subtracted, leading to my account being placed on hold for new listings. After contacting a representative to resolve the issue by making a payment, I was initially informed that paying the past-due amount of $[redacted] would lift the hold. However, upon making the payment and calling back, I was told that the total outstanding balance was over $[redacted]. This discrepancy was unexpected, especially since I was reassured there were no additional fees when I asked for confirmation before the initial payment. The sudden increase in the amount owed has put me in a difficult situation, compounded by the recent loss of my father and my misconception about the payment process on eBay.

I placed an order for a fuel pump on December 23rd. It was quickly shipped via USPS, but unfortunately, it has not arrived yet. The tracking information shows it being routed incorrectly, and the latest expected delivery date was December 31st. I have reached out to the seller, but have not received a response. I was advised by email to wait until today, the 7th, for any further action. I have requested a full refund due to the item not progressing in tracking. My request reference number is #[redacted]. The item order number is 23-04[redacted]6, the seller is inmotionauto, and the USPS tracking number is CF[redacted]70US. My name is Matheus Fungo. I appreciate any assistance in getting my refund promptly.

Before Christmas, I attempted to purchase an exercise bike with a discount code. Although I struggled to find where to apply the code, I received notification that the order went through. To my surprise, the supplier sent me two bikes and charged me for both. After reaching out to Paypal, they advised contacting the seller. I explained to the seller that I only accepted one bike from the Post Office and the other is awaiting their approval to be returned. The seller's response suggested I keep the extra bike and resell it or cover the return shipping costs myself. These options are not satisfactory. The seller blames eBay for the error. The order was placed on December 15, [redacted]. Transaction I.D. 6DK79950VS492305B. Best regards, John S. (ultech65)

Happy New Year! I encountered an issue while trying to buy Item Number [redacted]57 on 01/06/[redacted]. Despite being in Pay Pal and ready to pay $38.38 for the item plus shipping, an error occurred when I confirmed the purchase. Upon returning to the item, the "Buy it Now" option was gone, and there was a single bid. Although my eBay History indicated I won the item, it stated the payment was pending. Seeking clarification, I contacted Customer Care. The first representative explained that the seller likely removed the "Buy it Now" option while I was trying to make the payment without any notification. I was then connected to Travis, who identified error messages in the transaction but was unsure of their significance. He suggested that someone might have bid on the item during my payment attempt. I expressed my unawareness of the item's availability during my payment. Although this morning the item appeared in my cart with the message "Item Not Available," it is still actively listed. I am perplexed why selecting "Buy it Now" did not prevent others from doing the same or bidding. I am keen on purchasing the item I rightfully won for $38.38. Thank you in advance. Best, Ron L.

I need help with a recent transaction on eBay. The item number is [redacted]04. I have encountered an issue with the buyer who claimed there was a fault with the item, which is untrue as shown in the provided photos. Despite refunding the buyer £6.50 via PayPal and sending a cheque for the return postage cost of £3.48, the item has not been returned to me yet. Following eBay's guidance, I sent a prepaid envelope as requested by the buyer, incurring an additional cost of £10.53. In total, I have now paid £6.50 for the refund and £10.53 for the pre-paid envelope. This situation has left me financially burdened, and I believe the buyer is attempting a scam by not returning the item. I urge eBay to address such fraudulent practices to protect sellers like myself. Moving forward, I may consider alternative platforms for selling items to avoid similar situations. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am a seller who encountered an issue with a buyer named Becky from Gardner, MA. She requested a refund for a Wii system she had ordered but canceled before I shipped it. Although I am willing to issue the refund, I cannot find the refund option on the seller's side. Additionally, I do not see the payment reflected in my eBay earnings nor deposited into my bank account. I am concerned that eBay may have already refunded Becky, making it challenging for me to process the refund she is requesting. Becky has now involved eBay to assist, and while I appreciate the support, I believe she may have already received her funds back and may not be entitled to a double refund. Any guidance on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I recently discovered that my eBay account was suspended unexpectedly after I listed an item at a low price. I received a notification regarding this suspension through email. I would like to understand the reasons behind this action and inquire about the possibility of rectifying the situation to resume using eBay for my business purposes. I am concerned about the impact this may have on my ability to conduct transactions. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

A buyer purchased a purse from me, and I shipped it promptly using the eBay generated shipping label. The buyer reported not receiving the item, claiming it was sent to their old address. Despite contacting eBay, they were unable to assist, prompting me to reach out to USPS. USPS confirmed the label was created by eBay and advised the buyer to contact the current residents of the old address. eBay has deducted the refund amount from my account, holding me responsible for their error. I demand a refund promptly; otherwise, I will seek legal action against eBay.

I purchased a portable jump starter from HomeChamp on December 5th with Order # 13-04[redacted]4. The delivery date of December 23rd has passed, and I have not received my order. The seller, who I called at [redacted], has been deceptive about the item's location, initially claiming it was in Chino when it was actually coming from Hong Kong. Despite multiple emails, the seller only refunded $27.99 instead of the full amount of $30.16 (which includes $2.17 sales tax). I feel deceived by this seller and request a review of our email correspondence to address their misleading practices.
