I am disappointed with the Moto E phone I purchased on eBay last month. I cannot activate it and it is not functioning properly. I have also not been receiving the ASPCA donation listings except for one. Despite these issues, I will continue to support ASPCA donations. Every time I buy a phone, I encounter problems, so I have decided not to purchase any more phones from eBay. I appreciate the Moto E phone for its size, but I cannot afford the larger model at the moment. Thank you for your time, and please consider supporting ASPCA. Merry Christmas!

I purchased a phone on eBay last month, a Moto E, unfortunately, it didn't work. I've had it with eBay. The phones either don't work or are not as described. I won't be using eBay again. Happy Holidays! Please relay to them that I'm interested in a Motorola phone, but I cannot afford it. I am requesting a refund, but I've decided not to pursue it further. I purchased car parts, but they were incorrect. After informing the seller, I was advised that a return authorization email would be sent within 2-4 business days. Despite not receiving it after 5 days, I have yet to hear back after contacting them multiple times. They claimed to have refunded the amount to my card, but upon checking, I found no traces of the refund or any response from them.

I have recently experienced fraud orders which were later charged back. Despite using phone verification for owners, some orders were confirmed using genuine phone numbers, then led to unauthorized claims and chargebacks through Paypal. Additionally, buyers sent me their passport copies for verification and we communicated via SMS. I am seeking assistance with eBay Seller Protection and guidance on opening a case to reclaim my funds. I have encountered challenges contacting eBay internationally and spent considerable time resolving credit and final value fees. Notably, a significant portion of fraudulent orders were from a specific buyer in Germany. eBay customer service deemed these orders as unique due to different IP addresses, despite similarities in phone numbers and communication. I am requesting a dedicated expert to review these cases and assist in resolving the issues promptly.

On July 15th, [redacted], I bought a new car alternator for a [redacted] Alfa Romeo Spider from an eBay seller known as MrFiat, also doing business as Italian Car Parts. I spent $[redacted], including shipping, paid through PayPal, for order number 13-03[redacted]1. Unfortunately, after months of delays due to the seller's failure to pay for a car carpet set, when attempting to install the alternator, it was discovered to be defective by a separate electric shop. Despite my request, the eBay seller has refused to offer a refund for the purchase made five months ago. I do not wish to receive a replacement alternator from MrFiat due to my lack of trust in their products and business practices.

I purchased a 4XL gilet on eBay, but received a 3XL instead. The size I received does not fit me. I am facing two problems with returning it. Firstly, I am being requested to pay for the return shipping, which I did not do via PayPal. The options given are £4 for collection or £3 for Royal Mail return. I don't believe it should be my obligation to cover the return shipping costs since the mistake was on the sender's end. Additionally, I am unsure about the address or recipient for the return package.

I need assistance with a recent purchase of 3 shower caps. The caps received are not as described, lacking a lining and being stiff instead of heavy duty vinyl. Although the seller advertises a 30-day return policy with a refund, they mention at the bottom of their return policy that due to the hygienic nature of hair care items, they do not accept returns for buyer's remorse. My name is Lone Frylund, and on July 3rd, I ordered copper foil tape from a seller named happy-shop09. Despite never receiving the parcel, after opening a request, the seller offered a refund and the request was closed. However, the refund has not appeared in my account. I have attempted to contact the seller, but have only received auto-replies with unrelated text, ignoring my questions. Though it is not a significant amount of money, feeling deceived is a disheartening experience.

I purchased a rework station on eBay, but it was returned to the seller by DHL. The seller refunded the money to my PayPal account, but I do not have a PayPal account; instead, I made the purchase using my Postepay bank account. eBay converted my account, but the money has not been transferred to my Postepay account. I am reaching out for assistance in resolving this issue. If there is anything I am misunderstanding, please clarify it for me.

I purchased a Norton [redacted] license key from seller lightsoftware01, with order number 05-04[redacted]3. Initially, the key worked fine but then stopped working. The seller assisted me in resolving the issue by reinstalling Norton [redacted] and reusing the license key. However, the problem has resurfaced, and the seller is no longer registered on eBay. I am unable to contact them for a refund. I have been buying Norton license keys on eBay for years without any issues until now. I recently sold a mouse on eBay, and the buyer is now claiming it is defective. Despite it working perfectly before, I received a very abusive message from them. I've reached out to eBay seller support, but their assistance was limited. They mentioned the possibility of suspending the buyer's account, but it's uncertain if that will happen. I'm unsure how to protect myself in this situation and what actions I can take against the buyer.

The item I received was not as described. eBay approved the return and provided a return label. I dropped off the package at the USPS location, but it did not reach the seller, resulting in no refund. Because the seller did not pay for insurance, USPS does not allow me to file a claim. I am currently at a loss as eBay closed the return despite my attempts to contact them and the unresponsive seller. I am requesting either the correct item or a refund.

I have been a seller on Ebay for five years, consistently ranking as the top seller in my category for over four years. Recently, I encountered an issue with returns where the status "Waiting for buyer to confirm refund received" appeared even after I had already sent the refund. I faced multiple cases where buyers requested refunds, and some were later refunded additional amounts unexpectedly. During our busy season, a situation arose where I repaired and replaced an item for an exchange, which Ebay confirmed was shipped to the customer. However, a day later, the customer opened a case and was refunded, despite her paying for the repair service. These incidents led to an increase in my transaction defect rate, affecting my seller rating and visibility on Ebay. I contacted customer support, who assured me they would address the cases, but explained they couldn't adjust my rating until the next cycle. As a senior relying on this income, the impact on my sales is significant, and I am seeking assistance to rectify this situation promptly with someone in San Jose who can reset my account.

I won an auction at the minimum price, and the seller asked me to pay directly through their private bank account. When I expressed my concern about this being suspicious and stated that I had never paid for anything on eBay this way before, the seller became upset. They called me "not smart" and claimed they were tired of me before abruptly ending the conversation. I believe this is not how a seller should treat a loyal eBay customer. This experience is new to me, and I find it disappointing.

I purchased an ashtray that never arrived. I requested a full refund from the seller. Despite their assurance of a full refund, I have not seen any refund reflected in my PayPal account. eBay claims the seller refunded £1.33, which is £2.00 less than what I paid. There seems to be a discrepancy as I have not received any refund, not even the £1.33 eBay mentioned. It's frustrating to be told conflicting information by both the seller and eBay, making it difficult to address the issue. I find it unfair that I am unable to leave negative feedback due to eBay stating it's past the deadline.

I would like to address an issue with the refund system in place on eBay. The process has caused me considerable stress and inconvenience as the funds for returns were placed on hold in my PayPal account even though I had disabled this option. This resulted in a negative balance and confusion when trying to refund buyers. Despite contacting eBay customer service multiple times, the problem persists, and I end up having to refund the amount twice. The lack of clarity and repeated actions have been frustrating and costly. The system forces sellers to cover the reimbursement, leading to unnecessary expenses and delays in getting funds returned. The current process is confusing and inefficient, making selling on eBay a negative experience. I hope this feedback helps improve the refund process for all sellers.
