Dear Ebay Team, I am writing to address an issue with an order placed on April 19th, [redacted] for Item Number [redacted]23. The product ordered was the Vintage Minolta 16 Model P Camera with Rokkor 35/25 Lens from Japan. We separately paid $24.50 for shipping. Unfortunately, upon receipt, all we found was an empty box with bubble wrap and no product inside. This is deeply disappointing as loyal customers of Ebay for many years. We have contacted the seller, but they are not providing a satisfactory solution and are suggesting we investigate who may have removed the product from the box. We believe it is the seller's responsibility to ensure proper packaging and shipping. Considering the registered post's journey, identifying the source of the issue should not fall on us. We kindly request either a replacement shipment or a refund for the missing product. Sincerely, S. Indumathy Secretary to Director Gopal Bagh [redacted] Avinashi Road Coimbatore - [redacted] India Tel. +91 [redacted] (5 lines) Fax. +91 [redacted] Email: [redacted]

Hello, I'm a new seller on eBay. Yesterday, I listed some items, and my account got suspended. I called customer service three times, and the first representative mentioned something about being a "dropshipper," which I'm not familiar with. I run a legitimate business, sourcing some items locally and collaborating with a friend who has items in the USA and China. With five years of experience in e-commerce, I chose eBay to grow my business. I assure you I comply with all the guidelines and reiterate that I am not a dropshipper. I hope you can assist me in resolving this issue. Account Information: Username: master_seller_7 Email: [redacted] Name: Charaf Phone Number: +[redacted]90 Zip Code: [redacted]

My item was expected to arrive on April 4th, but I never received it. Despite my eBay page showing 'item in transit' throughout April and May, the seller claims it was delivered and collected in April. eBay opened the wrong case indicating I wanted a refund because I hadn't liked the item. After contacting eBay to correct this mistake, they closed the case as I hadn't returned the item. Despite explaining the situation, eBay claimed it was my fault, and the case remained closed. The closed case dealt with a refund, which isn't valid since I never received the item. The eBay representative was impolite during my interactions. Even though the item recently disappeared from my 'buying' details on eBay, all previous messages concerning this issue are evidence of the problem. I remain adamant that I never received the item, despite the seller's belief that it was delivered but still remains 'in transit.' I plan to escalate this matter to the consumer watchdog.

I posted Omeprazole for sale on my eBay account today and received a notification that selling medicines is not allowed. However, I noticed other sellers successfully listing the same medicine. My husband and I both use this medication regularly, but he has now been diagnosed with Parkinson's and requires specific medication prescribed by his Neurologist. I had one buyer interested, but I refunded them to avoid any issues with my account. I noticed other sellers offering medications for heart conditions, and it's confusing and unfair that my listing was flagged. I wanted to provide a more affordable option for those purchasing this over-the-counter medicine. Can I relist the item and contact the buyer who was interested in purchasing? Thank you, signature28.

Return ID [redacted] I appreciate your email. However, I want to reiterate that I notified the vendor of the item's unacceptability just 2 days after I received it. Upon reviewing our email correspondence, you will understand why I am dissatisfied. The vendor has not adhered to the "30-day" return policy, nor have they honored the "free shipping" offer. Even though they agreed to an RMA for the return, they have failed to provide a return label for free shipping. I am willing to return the item if the vendor agrees to a full refund, including shipping costs. If they do, I will purchase a label and send the item back. The item does not meet the description provided, and its functionality is subpar, resembling more of a toy than a legitimate device as advertised. Please let me know the next steps in resolving this matter with the vendor. Sincerely, Robert M. (dedicated eBay shopper)

Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with my eBay account. I recently added my first item for sale as a beginner, but my account got suspended shortly afterward. I received an email from eBay stating that they noted concerns about my recent activity, resulting in the suspension of my account and the removal of my item listing ([redacted]66 - Funko Pop Arya Stark Game of Thrones). I'm unsure about the specific reasons for the suspension and how to go about getting my account reinstated. The email mentioned the possibility of appealing the decision by verifying my account information directly with eBay. Any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Sirs, I am new to eBay and have ordered over 60 products on the platform. Unfortunately, I have encountered an issue with an order I placed for a "wrist bag sports running fitness equipment waterproof mobile phone arm bag" priced at $8.80 USD. The seller accepted my payment through PayPal but later informed me they could not ship the product and requested to cancel the order. I tried to cancel the order myself, but it was not possible. Despite multiple emails sent to the seller, I have not received a response. This seller appears suspicious as they do not have any other products listed and lack feedback on their account besides mine. I am seeking guidance on how to forward the email from the seller to eBay to assist in resolving this matter and obtaining a refund. It is concerning to encounter sellers like this whose integrity on eBay is questionable. Thank you for your assistance in advance. My eBay username is jadrad-0.

I bought a watch from user ishipbest on February 20th. Unfortunately, the watch stopped working on April 25th, so I contacted the supplier on April 30th. After waiting until May 10th, they informed me they would send a replacement watch. By May 23rd, I reached out again as I hadn't received the replacement. They admitted sending it to the wrong address and promised to send another. They assured me on May 24th that I would receive it soon, but I have not heard back despite my follow-up emails. I'm unable to pursue the issue through eBay now. All our communication is logged on my account for eBay to review. I suspect the supplier is deliberately stalling. I would have preferred the replacement watch or a refund at this point.

I encountered a seller on OfferUp offering a car allegedly from Jackson, MS. The seller requested my personal details to open an eBay case for vehicle purchase protection. I'm new to this and concerned about potential scams or losing money. Email excerpt: "Hi again, I have attached the pictures. The car is in Jackson, MS. We'll use eBay vehicle purchase protection, with free shipping. You'll have a 5-day test period. If you decide to keep the car, eBay Escrow will release the payment to me. If not, return it, and I'll cover the shipping fees." I want to verify if this is a legitimate transaction before proceeding. Thank you.

Hello, I have sold the buyer a fully functional chronograph. However, after three weeks, the buyer claimed it was faulty and initiated a return. Before sending it out, I thoroughly tested the item, and it was in perfect working condition. My concern is that the buyer may have mishandled the item, causing the reported issue. Despite admitting to having no experience with chronographs, the buyer opened the sealed case, which could have led to further damage. I find it puzzling why the buyer didn't test the item upon receipt, especially since it was new and tested prior to shipment. I have a history of selling quality products with no negative feedback. I kindly request the cancellation of this return as the item was not faulty when sold. I take pride in my reputation and customer satisfaction. Thank you.

I encountered a problem with an online purchase of inner tubes. The listing indicated "inner tubes," but I only received one tube. I attempted to communicate the issue with the seller, but our interactions have been unproductive. Despite my efforts to get a return label if the second tube is not coming, I have not received one. Subsequently, I noticed they changed the listing to "inner tube" instead of tubes. I have decided to buy new inner tubes elsewhere due to the time-consuming process with this seller. I intend to return the tube I received, which is undamaged and still in its package. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this with the seller, they have stopped responding. Given the change in their listing, I believe they have acknowledged the error. I have multiple messages documenting our exchange and expect them to provide a return label so I can send the tube back. As someone on a fixed income, I must be cautious with my spending, and this experience has been frustrating.

I purchased a Thunderbolt 3 GPU enclosure, advertised as a used Razer Core X in great condition. However, the packaging was extremely poor, causing dust to cover critical components and a noticeable scratch that was not shown in the product photo. Additionally, the cables included were not the necessary Thunderbolt 3 Type C-Type C cable to test the device with a graphics card. I am unable to try out the product due to this missing accessory. The item is not in the condition as described and lacks essential components to function. I have reached out to the seller with photos, but have not received a response post-purchase.

I bought a [redacted] YAMAHA YFL-[redacted] flute on eBay from seller xiaofeang, but it turned out to be a counterfeit. I contacted the seller explaining the issues with the item, including incorrect model labeling and discrepancies with the Yamaha logo and design. I have requested a full refund as the item does not match the description. The item is still in transit, and I have not accepted delivery. Thank you for your assistance.

I shipped a package through Ebay/Hermes with Item No. [redacted]90. The package was not delivered and returned to the Gatwick hub three times because the driver claimed it was too heavy. When the package finally arrived, it was heavily damaged. Despite Hermes causing the damage, they insist that I am responsible for a refund or replacement. I purchased insurance through them and hope they can resolve this issue promptly. Trying to navigate the Ebay website for a solution has been frustrating as I keep going in circles. I am currently looking for replacement parts for the damaged item without success. Hermes redirects me to the seller every time I contact them, even though they are the ones at fault. I need assistance in resolving this situation as I cannot bear the stress and Hermes is unwilling to take responsibility.

I have an iPhone 6s and iPhone 8. When I tap on a link in an eBay email using my iPhone 6, it directs me to the eBay app. However, when I click on the same link using my iPhone 8, it redirects me to Safari which is inconvenient. How can I make my iPhone 8 open the link in the eBay app instead? Both devices have the most recent version of the eBay app and are operating on iOS 12.3.1. Safari has been launching on my iPhone 8 since I purchased it 1.5 years ago. Best regards, Alan

Hello, I have a seller account and listed a product on eBay, but there seems to be an issue with the listing. I encountered the following error message: "It looks like there's a problem with this listing. To maintain a safe trading environment, eBay places limits on the number of categories sellers can list. Currently, you do not have the required permission to sell in this category. If you wish to sell in this category, please create a business plan and email [redacted]{e56[redacted]36x}." Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

I purchased an item two days ago, and it arrived broken. I contacted the seller who requested more pictures. However, when I tried to respond, I encountered an error message stating, "The question you are trying to answer is either invalid or older than 90 days. You can't respond to questions older than 90 days." This is inaccurate as the issue is only two days old. I attempted to call eBay for assistance but faced difficulties. Despite requesting a call back, I only received an email. I am unable to message the seller to return the broken item due to this technical issue. The seller's name is agmplaza. Here are images of the item: [redacted], [redacted], [redacted].

Hello, I represent an IT distribution company based in the UAE. We recently encountered an issue with a consignment we booked through eBay. Upon arrival at the Dubai port, we were asked to pay customs duty through the eBay portal, which required PayPal details that we do not have available for our company. We communicated this to the supplier, offering to clear the shipment by paying the duty directly, but this was not acceptable to them. After mutual agreement, we decided to return the material and requested a refund of the amount we had initially remitted. However, it has been three months and we have not yet received the reimbursement. As a result of this unresolved situation, our finance department has imposed restrictions on making any further purchases through eBay. We kindly request a prompt resolution to this matter. Case #: [redacted] Item number: [redacted]25 Amount paid: US$[redacted].88 You can reach me at [redacted] 55 [redacted]. Best regards, Pradeep
