I purchased an OwnZone wireless headset in January, and after only four months, the earphones no longer hold a charge. Here is a summary of my journey until I reached a point of frustration: Initially, I reached out to Sharper Image as their name was on the box, but they redirected me to OwnZone, the actual manufacturer of the earphones. Upon contacting OwnZone, they inquired about where I made the purchase. I mentioned eBay, and they advised me to reach out to the platform. Subsequently, eBay provided me with a transaction number and suggested I contact PayPal for further assistance. Contacting PayPal did not yield a satisfying resolution, leaving me feeling disappointed and decided to accept the loss as a lesson learned.

I have encountered ongoing issues with my order and require a prompt refund to enable me to make a purchase from a different seller. This problem has persisted since February, and the seller is uncooperative. The item with item number [redacted]36, an Opel Vauxhall Meriva 1.6 Z16XE Petrol Engine ECU Kit [redacted]0 with Pin Code, was meant to be delivered by March 26, [redacted]; however, it has not arrived yet. I am currently facing difficulties using the eBay messaging system to communicate with the seller. Despite my efforts for over an hour, I have been unsuccessful in contacting them. This lack of access to the seller is frustrating. As a loyal buyer on eBay, I feel disheartened by the lack of response from them. Upon arriving in Germany in late [redacted] due to dire conditions in Syria, as a student, I urgently required a laptop for my studies. Introduced to eBay by a friend, I created my first eBay account. Despite my exhaustion, the appealing offers intrigued me. I mistakenly thought I was adding items to my shopping cart for future consideration, but to my dismay, I unintentionally ended up purchasing them. I immediately sought the aid of my friend to contact the sellers and explain the situation. Unfortunately, my account remains blocked. Curiously, I had not linked my eBay account to a payment method such as Paypal or a credit card as I did not possess either at that time. I am perplexed as to how purchases were made without any linked payment method. I am keen to resolve any issues to unblock my account. Good morning, I am seeking assistance to resolve the lockout of my account. I have been charged for an unfulfilled sale despite informing multiple times via various communication channels that the buyer (username: alleaw_0) could not make the payment. I have emails with the buyer confirming this. Consequently, I did not send the product to them and sold it to another buyer on 06/11/18. I clarified this to a representative during a call on 01/14/19, but they insisted on charging for both sales. They assured me they would investigate and return the overcharged amount within 15 days, which has not happened. I recently had a terrible experience with Ebay's buyer protection. I am a long-time user with a perfect rating under the username illone57. I bought a baby blue bottle microphone from a seller who claimed to be in the US but turned out to be overseas with suspicious banking information. When the seller didn't respond to my inquiries and the item never shipped, I knew something was wrong. After discovering the seller's fraudulent activities and trying to escalate the issue, Ebay failed to notify me that the seller was removed and the transaction was deleted. They only acted when I opened a case. It's disappointing that Ebay wasn't transparent about this and made me wait for a refund. Despite my positive history on Ebay, this experience has shaken my trust in their buyer protection. I hope to get my refund promptly and that Ebay addresses these issues to truly protect buyers.

Upon receiving the phone today, I encountered an issue where the wifi is not turning on and displaying an error. After contacting ASUS customer care (Case Number: N[redacted]26), I attempted their suggested troubleshooting steps, but the wifi still does not work, and they confirmed it as a hardware problem and advised me to return it to the seller. Unfortunately, without the wifi functioning, I cannot use the phone. I kindly request to return the phone to the seller and receive a fully working replacement of the same model. I received a damaged watch with an unglued face from eBay. The hands are stuck, and the watch looks awful. I need eBay to intervene since the seller is requesting I return it in ten days, which I might not manage due to my disability. Shopping online helps me due to physical limitations, and now I'm struggling to return this defective item to the Post Office in New York City. It's unjust for me to bear this burden because of a misrepresented product.

Hello everyone, I need assistance on how to proceed with a recent purchase issue. I bought an item from the USA but due to its flammable nature, the shipping company could not send it to me outside the country. The seller is located in Malaysia and refuses to provide a USA return address. I'm stuck as I try to enter tracking details for the return process. Once I've done that, I need to reset my eBay password by following specific steps outlined in the email. This additional security measure is essential to ensure that only I have access to my account. Dear Customer Service, I recently purchased a computer power supply from an eBay seller named Thomas Bisanz. Unfortunately, the item is missing a mainboard power cable crucial for starting my computer. Despite reaching out to the seller multiple times about the missing part, I have not received a response. Following eBay Resolution Center's advice, I returned the item via an eBay-return package with tracking #[redacted][redacted]98 on the 24th of this month. The tracking information now shows "Held at Post Office, At Customer Request" at the seller's local USPS office. I am unsure why the seller requested this hold. Hi, I purchased a Sony Xperia Z3 mobile phone for £99.98 from seller idrc.idrc.[redacted] as a Christmas gift. The phone has been stuck in airplane mode since April. I contacted the seller via email for help, but eBay wouldn't allow me to send contact details like phone numbers or email addresses. Despite sending four messages since April 1st, I received no response. In my last message, I requested return details as Sony's troubleshooting tips did not resolve the issue. On eBay, the buyer with the username DSNELLI placed a bid on my item that I was selling starting at $10, while I listed it for $70. Since he was the only bidder, I sold it to him for $10. He paid the $10 plus $12 for shipping. I informed him that the item was in a damaged box but brand new, and that I source these items from places like Harbor Freight with damaged packaging to sell them through auctions. I also clearly stated a no return policy. However, there was a misunderstanding when I messaged him saying I couldn't accept a return due to time wasted on both ends. Despite this, he now wishes to return it, knowing the no return policy mentioned. I have been open and honest about the item and the refund terms. It seems he is trying to inconvenience me. I stand by my policy and refuse the return.

I believe I have been scammed with the purchase I made. I have been unsuccessful in reaching the seller for a refund or to cancel the order. The product in question is a Camden CN-50 Platinum 7.1 Surround Sound System listed on eBay as item #[redacted]57. I have learned that this surround sound system is not functional from various sources, and I am deeply disappointed by this experience. I strongly feel that the seller should face consequences for their deceptive actions. It is concerning that eBay allows such scams to persist without taking stricter measures. This specific scam is well-documented, and the entity posing as a company appears to be illegitimate. I hope to raise awareness about this issue to prevent others from falling victim to similar scams on eBay. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have encountered such deceitful practices on the platform, leading me to decide to discontinue my membership.
