My son bought a vehicle on Facebook Marketplace. The seller used eBay for the transaction. After following eBay's instructions and receiving confirmation emails for the delivery schedule, he was asked for more money the next day. The original amount was supposed to cover handling and delivery fees according to the initial email. Despite reaching out to eBay and the seller with no response and no vehicle received, he is now without a car. He cannot apply for a car loan and is a police officer close to completing his first year with the department. How can we expedite the process of getting his money back? It seems very suspicious. Contact through email. Thank you. - Karen

I recently purchased a waistcoat from Besttime4u2015, but instead of receiving the waistcoat, I got a black and yellow stretch sports top. The seller requested photos for the return, but now claims the item wasn't from his store even though it arrived in a parcel with his tracking number. The inner package was torn, but the outer one was sealed. The seller is not cooperating in refunding me. I only ordered the waistcoat, and the parcel I received contained the wrong item, which he disputes. I need advice on how to proceed.

Hello, I'm seeking advice regarding a recent purchase I made on eBay. On March 17, [redacted], I bought a 28" Monster High doll. The seller informed me on March 25 that they were facing issues with their store going on vacation mode and were adjusting to a new interface on eBay. The last update I received was on March 27, mentioning they were trying to find suitable packaging. The expected arrival date of March 23 has passed, and the seller has not responded to my messages. Despite leaving my contact details, I have received no further communication. The item is now listed under "Returns and Canceled" orders, even though I never initiated a return. I paid $41.10 for the doll and have yet to receive it, leaving me feeling frustrated and deceived. I hope for the seller to provide an explanation and ship the doll promptly. I am considering contacting eBay customer service for guidance. Any insights on how to proceed in this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Aislynn

Hello, I am writing to address an ongoing matter concerning my eBay account that has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I recently sold an Olympus Pen EP-1 on the platform, providing accurate photos and a detailed description. Despite this, the buyer claims the camera's condition was inaccurately represented and expressed dissatisfaction upon receiving it. I informed them that the camera, being almost a decade old, may exhibit minor wear and tear and stated my willingness to share additional images had they requested. I find the buyer's expectation of perfection unreasonable given the camera's age. Regrettably, eBay has initiated action to refund the buyer without adequately investigating my perspective. This unilateral decision to debit my PayPal account without prior discussion is distressing, particularly considering my history as a loyal eBay user with six incident-free years on the platform. I trust that upon reviewing the circumstances, eBay will acknowledge my fair selling practices and rectify this situation accordingly. I appreciate your attention to this matter and await your response. Best regards, Nadine

I recently listed a variety of Robertson badge items on eBay. After they were live for a day, they were all canceled because they were considered Golly related. I was confused as my listings only mentioned Robertsons, not Golly. Upon review, I realized that I had selected "Gollies" under the "Theme" section, which may have caused the issue. I tried listing different Robertson badges with "Advertising" as the theme, hoping to resolve the matter. However, my listings were removed again, while similar items are still up on eBay. I've had no issues listing thousands of items on the platform before, so I feel singled out unjustly. I request that my listings be reinstated or that the same action be taken with the other similar items on eBay.

I purchased a beautiful Ralph Lauren dress that arrived on March 13. Unfortunately, it didn't fit well, especially over my chest. I contacted customer service to return it but couldn't due to unexpected back and hip pains that left me unable to walk or drive for over a week. eBay closed the case on March 26, just two weeks after the dress was delivered, although the return policy allows for 30 days. I paid the full amount for the dress upfront, so I don't understand why I'm being penalized for circumstances beyond my control. I am left with a dress I can't wear and out $[redacted].30. I'm seeking a full refund and willing to return the dress - it seems unfair that the seller benefited from keeping the money without needing to take back the item. I hope for protection and fairness as a buyer. Thank you.

My item #[redacted]75 is listed as ‘Buy it now’ with cash upon collection. Despite clear communication with the interested buyer on payment options, they were unable to select the ‘pay on collection’ option as intended. Despite our transparent messages back and forth, eBay has now restricted my account citing offers to sell outside of their platform based on our conversation. I plan to reach out to eBay directly to explain my side of the situation and hopefully clarify that the account restriction is not warranted.

Dear Rob Hattrell, I am reaching out to express my concerns regarding eBay's decision to support an anonymous right-wing campaign targeting The Canary by labeling it as "fake news." eBay's recent announcement about blocking ads on the site due to this censorship raises questions about the process followed. I would like to know if eBay investigated the accusations by reaching out to the UK Press Regulator Impress or The Canary for comments before deciding to blacklist the website. It is important to consider the implications of backing a hard-right campaign without verifying facts or potential impacts on free speech and eBay's brand reputation. I plan to boycott eBay and encourage others to do the same until this matter is addressed appropriately. I await your response. Sincerely, Kevin J Burke

I would like to cancel my order. I faced delays in communication with the seller, and now they are directing me to request the cancellation through eBay. Here is the message exchange: From: 2014lwjfy2014 To: audrgates_0 Sent: Apr-01-19 23:55 New message from: 2014lwjfy2014, Top Rated Seller (43,[redacted] Turquoise Shooting Star): Dear friend, Thank you for your prompt response. Could you please initiate a cancellation request on eBay? We will then approve the request. Awaiting your reply. Have a nice day! Customer Support Operating hours: Sun-Fri, 5PM-0AM PST This will be my final purchase on eBay due to this frustrating experience. It has been a negative encounter, and I am disheartened by the process. I should not have to go through so many steps to receive my refund of $[redacted]. I am very disappointed with eBay's handling of this situation, and as a customer, I feel discouraged. I am requesting my refund promptly. Warm regards, A.

Dear eBay Customer Service, I recently made a purchase on eBay from seller hulushop2010 and received a buffing pad instead of the shoe covers I ordered. The seller has requested that I return the buffing pad before sending the correct item. However, I am unfamiliar with the return process and when trying to follow the provided instructions on printing the shipping label, I couldn't find the "Print Label" option as described. The seller, who appears to be in China and may not be fluent in English, provided me with a Chinese address for the return. The address given is Dong Fengping, Room 30B, Block 11, JINDIMEILONGZHEN, MINZHI STREET, BAO´AN DISTRICT, Shenzhen 广东省 [redacted]. I am unsure if a US post office can ship to this address or if this will charge the shipping costs to the seller as per eBay rules. I have been unable to find clear instructions on how to use this shipping label or return the item. Please provide guidance on how to proceed with the return and clarify if the provided address is the correct shipping label. Thank you, Paul M. (eBay user ID: surfer..7)

I purchased a Washburn Acoustic Guitar with a rough and smooth finish, but the wood was not finished properly. Buying it in Canadian dollars was expensive. The shipping took a long time and cost a lot. Unfortunately, the guitar arrived with a crack near the neck joint, making it in terrible shape for a new item. This experience has deterred me from buying guitars on eBay due to the high costs involved in shipping and border taxes. The duties and taxes, as well as return shipping, have added up to a significant amount, leaving me dissatisfied with this purchase. I am now considering the process of returning the guitar and hoping for a refund. Thank you, Darren T.

The seller has failed to respond to my request for a corrected invoice for three pairs of trousers. The current invoice only reflects one pair. I am frustrated by this ongoing problem. If not resolved within three days, I will discontinue my business with eBay. I have yet to receive a refund. I have escalated the situation by reporting eBay to the ombudsman and Which Legal, organizations with which my husband and I have long-standing memberships. Following this, I will be cutting all connections with eBay. Their money-back guarantee is ineffective. Additionally, I am also facing an issue with them regarding five dresses, where they are unwilling to refund me the amount of £6.49 each and instead attempting to offer a lesser amount.

I recently created an eBay account and attempted to list some art prints. However, faced with selling restrictions, I tried to change the listings. Subsequently, my account got restricted without a clear reason. Despite being prompted to confirm my identity through a link provided by eBay, it only led to the help page. Frustrated, I decided to close my account due to security concerns. Unfortunately, every attempt to do so notifies me of ongoing updates. Feeling stuck, I cannot proceed with the account closure as eBay seems to require resolving the previous issue first. I seek assistance on how to effectively close my account under these circumstances.

Hello eBay, I am concerned about some combination ladders I sold on eBay in September [redacted]. The buyer paid £60 via PayPal, but I don't have a PayPal account. I expected the payment in my bank account but have not received anything. I am now being contacted by TRANSCOM claiming I owe eBay £19.99, which surprised me. I would have paid eBay's 10 percent fee willingly. The involvement of TRANSCOM, a debt collection agency, is unsettling. I want to resolve this issue and have reached out to PayPal for the buyer's details. Can you assist in clarifying the situation with TRANSCOM regarding reference number EF237065? I have not been paid for the sold item and find the current situation unsatisfactory. Your help in resolving this matter would be appreciated. Thank you, Peter

I recently bought a Bluetooth music receiver that turned out to be defective. I reached out to the seller, and they sent me a new item, instructing me to keep the defective one. However, eBay later contacted me to return the item within 30 days or face charges for both. Despite the seller's instructions, I ended up being charged. After unsuccessfully disputing the charge with PayPal, I contacted eBay. Following a lengthy discussion, they assured me a refund for the error. Despite this promise, two weeks passed with no refund. After following up, a supervisor named Rodeefa said eBay would manually process the return. I was provided with a reference number - 1-[redacted]07, with a 5-7 day refund timeline. Unfortunately, two weeks later, the $18.99 charge still has not been refunded. This ordeal, caused by eBay and the seller, has been frustrating. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My account was compromised by hackers who changed my PayPal address, causing multiple issues with receiving payments for items sold. Although eBay assisted in rectifying the situation initially, the fraudulent PayPal address reappeared even after I updated my login credentials. Despite my attempts to explain the ongoing problem to eBay, they have been unable to fully resolve it, leading to frustration and the inability to use my established 8-year-old eBay account with a [redacted]% positive feedback rating. I am seeking a solution to remove the fraudulent PayPal address and either regain access to my current account or transfer my feedback to a new account for continued use.

I purchased a vehicle for $[redacted] and paid with eBay cards. The seller covered the shipping costs. Recently, I received a message stating that the shipment was halted because the car's value was higher. I don't see how that is relevant to what I paid for it. I am disputing this issue as I expect to receive what was advertised and promised for the price I paid. I will involve a lawyer if needed. This situation is unjust, especially since I just underwent heart surgery. This feels like an attempt to scam us, wasting our time and money for profit. It's disappointing and unfair. Kindly address this matter promptly.

Subject: eBay Complaints - 4th April [redacted] Concerns regarding Insertion Fees Contact: babsmav69@[redacted] I have been a member since 27th December [redacted] and have [redacted] listings as of 4th April [redacted]. My main issue is with the unexpected charges, specifically £35.29p for insertion fees. I am aware that there should be free listings, as I am entitled to up to [redacted] free active listings. I have been consistently listing over [redacted] items monthly without incurring such high fees. This sudden charge seems to be an error. I kindly request eBay to investigate this matter promptly. If this pricing is accurate, I may have to consider moving away from eBay after being a loyal member for so many years. In the past, eBay provided various contact options for customer support, including email, live chat, telephone, and webmail assistance. However, I have noticed a decline in their accessibility over time.

My account was suspended due to numerous returns from sellers like Jen who sold me fake gemstones, causing significant financial loss. The Gemological Institute in Scottsdale confirmed that most of the stones I purchased were fake, leaving me with worthless items. Despite my efforts to report fraudulent activities, my account was suspended after spending thousands on building a gemstone collection for donation. I have meticulously documented all the fraudulent incidents and am prepared to take legal action against eBay for their role in enabling such criminal behavior. My suspension is unjust, discriminatory, and I will be escalating this issue to relevant authorities. My username is GB Golding, email Gary Blaine Golding at Gmail, and telephone number [redacted].

I ordered a pre-owned tracksuit from the UK, and the tracking number (UPAAC[redacted][redacted]) shows that it was last updated 14 days ago when it was shipped from the global shipping center to the international destination in Lichfield, Staffordshire. However, I haven't received any further updates since then. After contacting my country's postal service, they confirmed that they never received the package. The seller mentioned that the item was shipped through eBay's global shipping program and suggested reaching out to eBay for help, as they have an email confirming the dispatch on 27th March. I am unsure of what steps to take next. Can I request a refund or is there a way to locate the package's current whereabouts?
