The buyer is requesting to return an item and has made false claims, implying that there was an issue with the shipping process. They stated that the item "poured" out, which seems unlikely, and then claimed it got stuck to the lid. Despite our request, they opened a return case just two hours after delivery and refused to provide photos of the item and packaging, indicating they had already sealed the package for return. The item had intact safety seals, was inspected before listing, and double-checked before shipping. The consecutive updates, refusal to send photos, and the claim about the item pouring out lead us to suspect that the buyer may have tampered with the product and intends to return an empty container. Despite our usual policy of refunding damaged items, the buyer's demanding behavior, threats of illegality (despite the safety seal), and impossible claims make this situation challenging.

I recently sold an item to a buyer with a high feedback score. Despite shipping the item promptly as promised, I never received the payment even after the delivery. I have tried contacting the buyer through invoices and messages, but with no success. I opened a case but did not receive my money back. Although I have now closed the case for a fee credit, it does not cover the item's cost or the shipping expenses I incurred. I am disappointed with eBay's handling of this issue. I am requesting either the payment owed to me or the return of the item. Thank you.

I recently received an invoice from eBay for February, stating a total amount due of $36.30. However, I did not make any sales in February. The invoice claims I received a payment for an item, a Tissot original Swiss made two tone watch G335P, from user "br9515" at a Best Offer price of $[redacted]. This transaction never took place, as confirmed by checking my PayPal account. Although eBay acknowledged the suspicious activity, canceled the transaction, and allowed me to relist the item, they are still trying to charge me a fee. Why is eBay attempting to charge me for a transaction that was never completed? I request a revised and accurate invoice for February that reflects the correct information. Thank you, Valerija D.

I purchased a used Samsung phone on eBay from a seller in Germany who agreed to ship it to Cyprus via DHL after I paid for shipping. However, when I tracked the package, it was held in German customs due to the battery and returned to the seller. Despite the seller receiving the item, they are not responding to my messages and have not refunded me. I am unable to open a case for non-delivery since the tracking shows it was delivered, albeit back to the seller. I am now at a loss, having paid for an item I never received and not received a refund. I am seeking a resolution to get my money back. Thank you.

Hello, Our eBay logo is SCIWARE. We sold a TEGAL [redacted] to Gregg C. Dodson II, Chief Engineer at Kyma Technologies in Raleigh, NC, USA on 2-22-19. The item was for local pick up. Rick Foster-UPS picked it up on behalf of the customer as authorized. Even though the customer is responsible for shipping, we have a UPS tracking number J[redacted] for reference. The item was delivered on 2-22-19, fulfilling our end of the agreement. We would like the funds to be released promptly. To prevent similar situations in the future, we'd appreciate any advice on precautions we should take to avoid payment holds. On March 5th at 2:36 pm, I received an email from eBay confirming my purchase of 2 7-1/4" Milwaukee Cordless Circular saws. Then, on the same day at 3:36 pm, PayPal notified me that my payment of $43.88 was sent to the seller using account number [redacted]47. Later at 8:41 pm, eBay sent another email stating that the item was no longer available and that my order was canceled as I hadn't paid for it yet. I'm confused about what's happening. I placed the order, PayPal made the payment, but then eBay canceled the order. Will I still be receiving the saw? If not, I expect a refund of the $44.88 sent to the seller by PayPal since the amount has already been deducted from my BMO Bank checking account.

*Subject: Assistance Needed for International Purchase The seller (maylz0177) and I (sherrherbe0) have been working together on a purchase for the past two days. Initially, the issue seemed to be that she had not enabled shipping to the US for the listed item (item#: [redacted]38). Yesterday, she messaged me through eBay/us.com stating the item could be shipped to the USA with the postage and handling cost specified. However, when I tried to select 'buy it now,' I was still redirected to a page saying the listing cannot be shipped to my US address. I have attempted to contact eBay for assistance and requested call backs, but my area has poor cell phone coverage making it difficult to communicate. I appreciate the seller's efforts to make the purchase possible and we are under time pressure as the listing will expire in less than two days.

I feel like I paid way too much, $[redacted].00 plus $12.00 for shipping, for a recent EMPI TENS UNIT because of your bidding prompts. You repeatedly notified me that someone bid higher, which led me to bid multiple times at amounts higher than I could afford due to a significant auto repair bill I discovered just two days ago. Since I am disabled, elderly, and rely on my vehicle for medical appointments, the vehicle repair cost, estimated at $[redacted].00 to $[redacted].00, takes precedence. A few hours ago, I tried to purchase an inversion table on your website. Although it stated on the site and was confirmed by the seller that the item could be shipped to Israel, I encountered an issue at checkout. A message stated that the item does not ship to Misgav, Israel, and suggested changing the address or selecting a different item. I attached a conversation with the seller who responded promptly and provided excellent service. They recommended calling eBay's purchasing department for assistance with processing the order. The seller assured that the shipping cost was included in the price listed. The item in question is the Heavy Duty Fitness Deluxe Inversion Therapy Table for $[redacted].65 with free shipping.

I recently received an email informing me that my eBay account has been suspended without a clear explanation of the reason. When attempting to reach out to eBay's customer support via the Help and Contact menu, I'm prompted to log in, only to be met with a message stating my account has been suspended due to concerns in my account activity. Regarding my order placed on March 6, [redacted], for Item number [redacted]50, I recently received a communication stating that the seller is no longer on eBay and the item is no longer available. I have attempted to contact the seller but was unsuccessful due to the eBay system. As the eBay phone numbers are not displayed and the service appears closed, I am reaching out to you directly for assistance. I won an auction for item number [redacted]83, Adidas shoes, on 26/02/[redacted]. The seller updated that it was sent on 27/02/[redacted], and the estimated delivery was supposed to be 4-5 March to my local shop for parcel collection. However, I have no tracking information or details about the parcel's location. The shop is asking for a code to scan the parcel, but I haven't received any email or information containing this code. This isn't the first time I've encountered issues with this local store. A week ago, I faced a similar situation where they failed to scan my parcel upon arrival, resulting in a lack of information. The shop was contacted by eBay's service previously, and they eventually located my parcel, which was mistakenly scanned. I need assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

However, this time I purchased an item that didn't work as expected. After contacting the seller, they agreed to exchange it for a working one but requested I return the faulty item first. I reached out to them a few times before they acknowledged receiving the returned item. They assured me they would resolve the issue, but my recent emails have gone unanswered. I am now out about $40 including the cost of the item and return shipping. They did not provide a return authorization, as they claim to do in such cases. I returned an oversized item to the Soapsy seller for a refund. UPS picked up the item on February 22, [redacted]. I received a receipt and the courier took the package. Despite sending multiple emails with return information and identification numbers, my request has been ignored. The case was closed without issuing a refund. I contacted eBay's Resolution Center six times and have not received a response. Although there was a note about a refund on March 6, I have yet to see it reflected in my account as of March 9. I am feeling upset after going through a lengthy process to file a case against seller lenagKo3. Despite my efforts, I was unable to proceed due to the confusion with providing the item number #[redacted]0 on eBay's form. LenagKo3 has been unhelpful and even disrespectful, sending me the wrong item. Reiterating these details to eBay is exhausting. As a 67-year-old, I find it draining to lodge a complaint again with all the necessary information. I hope eBay can understand my issue with the item number and provide the assistance I need. I encountered an issue with a buyer who did not pay for an item they claimed on eBay. Subsequently, I received an email titled "Suspicious buyer for item" from eBay informing me that the bids were canceled as the buyer was not registered. My listing has disappeared, preventing me from re-listing the item, and I am still charged the final value fee despite the item not being sold. I am seeking assistance to have the final value fee waived, the item re-listed, and advice on avoiding this problem in the future, especially since nearly half of my new eBay buyers have not paid for their purchases.

I purchased item number [redacted]97, a pair of Hugo Boss boxers, on January 28, [redacted]. They arrived on February 2, [redacted], but unfortunately, they were poorly made fakes with cheap fabric and were too small. After contacting eBay, they informed me that the item had been removed from their listings and provided me with a 48-hour tracking return label. I tried to return the item via the local post office, but they said the Isle of Man postal service does not offer this service. Despite multiple attempts to reach eBay for guidance, I received no response. Ultimately, on February 26, [redacted], I mailed the boxers back at my own expense to the address provided on the label. However, I don't have a tracking number to update eBay on the return. I am unsure how to proceed with getting a refund for these counterfeit goods.

Hello, on November 1, [redacted], I ordered a 'Michael Kors' watch. As of today, October 3, [redacted], I have not received it. I am certain that I never received my order and I'm seeking a refund for the $75. I have been trying to contact the seller, but they have not responded to my messages. I reached out to eBay on Facebook for guidance on how to proceed in getting my money back. They advised me to contact the seller first and then involve eBay if needed. However, it has been over 4 months since my order, and I feel helpless. This was my first time ordering from this website, and the experience has been terrible. I hope to receive some assistance. I recently received my order from Imzyus, and unfortunately, the products are not as advertised. The pictures showed full diamond paintings, but in reality, they only have small parts with diamonds. This discrepancy feels misleading and needs to be addressed. I made the purchase on eBay on February 24, [redacted], using PayPal for a total of $20.93 for 4 items. I have attempted to contact the seller without any response. At this point, returning the items seems costly due to shipping fees.
