I have a buyer that ordered an Hp Chromebook from me on December ** **** and is now insisting a refund. Initially he was unable to receive his order on the day it was scheduled for delivery because the address he provided on his eBay account and PayPal both had errors so the postal Service workers could not access the delivery location. I emailed him thru eBay messaging and notified him that he should get in contact with his local post office to help with the delivery of his order. I never heard back from him until today January * ****. He is claiming that the laptop screen has a black line down the left side but when asked to provide pictures of the claimed defect in the laptop, he says it does not turn on when he presses the power button. If the laptop doesn't turn on then how does he know the screen is defective on the left side? Also he has attempted to obtain my personal phone number to send a video of the laptop dis functioning to which I replied no that all conversations must be thru eBay messaging to protect both buyer and seller. In my listing I had it as no returns accepted and when I sent the laptop out ** days ago it was in mint condition with no defects. It was well packaged and secured. I had bubble wrap, packing material, and Styrofoam added inside the usps box around the original Hp box. I also included additional insurance to the usps shipping charge that I paid along with the shipping costs that I also paid. I don't believe he is giving accurate information and is just wanting his money back for whatever reason it may be. I waited patiently for the ** days for the funds to be released and now that they have been released he wants the money back and to send me a broken laptop which is not the condition I sent it to him in.
