The issue in GetHuman-goingbro's own words
Ordered a product through Ebay on November *, ****. Product clearly advertised with a * Year Warranty from the seller. In October of ****, less than a year after the purchase, the product break down. Contacted the seller through Ebay on two different occasions. Never received a response. Call Ebay and explained the situation and the Representative for Ebay claimed to open an investigation and gave the seller three more days to respond. After not hearing a word ** days later from Ebay and over a month from the seller, the situation remain the same. No service, response and no warranty as advertised. The seller is still selling as of the date of this complaint and has already committed "fraud" through deceptive business as defined under Federal Rules of Civil Procedures. Since Ebay is an involved party in the matter due to the commission they collected on the sale, both parties are liable. Your attention to this matter and addressing this issue would be in your best interest for a legal standpoint.
