I recently spent 47 minutes on the phone with a representative due to my blocked account. The representative was unhelpful, and I am concerned about being charged for a 45-minute call from my cell phone. My account is linked to my landline number, which has been suspended and blocked without my understanding. This is an older account dating back to 2[redacted]. The representative asked me questions that I couldn't answer as they seemed unrelated to me. It appears there may have been confusion with another individual named Nancy. I provided my landline number, and the representative attempted to make contact multiple times, even though I was unaware that she was overseas in Cuba. Despite her denial, my call records indicate she was in Cuba. I am worried about unexpected charges to my cell phone. Please resolve the issue or close my [redacted] account.

Hello, I am Vinayak from Pune. Around a month ago, I purchased a white iPhone 5 display from ebay.in. The seller did not send the item and informed me to contact customer care for a refund. After reaching out, I was told the refund was approved, but it has not been credited yet. Subsequent contacts with customer care explained delays due to site issues. Despite waiting for weeks, the refund of [redacted] RS. has not been processed. Customer care at ebay.in no longer accepts complaints, and ebay.com redirected me to the regional site where I made the purchase. I have sought help from the community multiple times with no response. My email is [redacted], and my phone number is [redacted]. Thank you.

On August 18th, my billing ID is B-OVJ6410Y[redacted]B and £50.00 was charged to my account for selling items on eBay. I was ensured that there would be no further payments required. However, on September 1st, £31.87 was deducted for the same reason even though I hadn't sold anything. I reached out to eBay but didn't get a satisfactory explanation for these charges. Now, another payment of £18.86 was taken on October 1st, and I am puzzled again as to why. I urgently need these amounts refunded back to the original card used. Dealing with this on top of recent personal losses has been overwhelming, and I am considering closing my eBay account if this issue isn't resolved promptly. - Mr. Paul Williams

Recently, we purchased 2 Verizon Wi-Fi hot spot packs from an eBay seller, spending $[redacted]. Unfortunately, the items are not functioning properly. Upon contacting the seller via eBay messages, he agreed to a refund if we returned the items. We promptly sent them back via USPS Priority Mail, but the seller has not responded since. Despite multiple attempts to reach out through eBay messages and phone calls, we have not received any further communication. It is disheartening that the seller has both our money and the merchandise. We have sought help from eBay and PayPal, but so far, there has been no resolution. It is frustrating that the seller can essentially get away with this behavior repeatedly. This experience has made us question the security of transactions on eBay. Signed, Joeybermuda (James G.).

I purchased a genuine leather top gun jacket from seller "zindanifashion," but upon receiving it, I found that it was not genuine leather and not the correct size as per the size guide. I contacted the seller for an exchange to a larger size, which they initially agreed to. I shipped the item back as requested on October 31, [redacted], via Royal Mail first class signed for, but now the seller is claiming they haven't received it and is unresponsive to my messages. I discovered multiple negative reviews stating that the seller is a scammer, which is concerning. This purchase was intended as a gift for my dad, so I am keen on receiving either an exchange or a refund promptly. Thank you - Amy.

I purchased a new Frigidaire OEM [redacted]61 Refrigerator Crisper Drawer, advertised as new, with tracking number [redacted]32. However, upon receipt, the item appears to be used with noticeable marks and blotches on the front and back, as well as white smudges in the grooves. I have initiated the return process, unintentionally, and the deadline provided by eBay is November 20, [redacted]. Meeting this deadline requires an expensive shipping option, nearly equivalent to the item's cost. A cheaper option has a longer delivery time of 4-6 weeks. I have already contacted eBay, attaching images of the item. I am seeking a refund of $64.93 for the item, $7.50 for US shipping, and $21.25 for shipping to Jamaica. I can provide the Jamaican leg invoice if needed.

I placed an order on November 5, [redacted], with item number [redacted]19 priced at $7.98. The seller confirmed the order and debited my bank account on November 6, [redacted]. Shortly after, I received an email stating the order was canceled, and a refund was issued. Upon checking eBay, I discovered that the seller listed the same item at a higher price of $26.15. This unilateral price increase after cancellation seems unethical. I believe sellers should honor the original price or face consequences. My eBay history proves my long-standing positive relationship with the platform. The seller's decision to raise the price appears to exploit the situation for profit, especially when other sellers maintain the original price.

My new account has been suspended. I'm confused about why this happened. I recently opened a new account but was previously using an old email address, [redacted] When I tried to log in, it said the password was incorrect. Since I hadn't used that email in over two years and switched to a Gmail account, I couldn't reset the password. I have been an occasional eBay user, with only one past issue involving a camera purchase that didn't work out and couldn't be reimbursed as it wasn't processed through PayPal. This situation caused me to lose money. I created a new eBay account to try bidding and potentially get better deals compared to direct purchases, which I usually do. My new email is [redacted]

On November 15, [redacted], at approximately 4:35 am, I made a purchase of a DuroStar DS4000S Gas Powered [redacted] Watt Portable Generator - RV Camping Standby for $23.99. Soon after, I was informed by eBay support that the item I had won was removed as the seller is no longer registered. Although I have already paid for the item, I am disappointed by the situation. I am requesting an immediate refund of the amount paid. Despite opening a case, eBay is suggesting I wait until November 21st for the seller to respond. I find this unfair given the circumstances. The item in question had been swiftly removed, and the seller deregistered from eBay. The item number for reference is #[redacted]54.

I contacted eBay today regarding Reference # 1-[redacted]17. A buyer has agreed to pay for the slide projector I listed. They made the full payment through eBay. However, when I shipped the item using an eBay label, it was returned due to insufficient postage. eBay advised me to discuss the additional postage cost with the buyer, who has agreed to pay. USPS quoted the postage as $24.50, while eBay deducted $9.64 automatically from my account. I am now seeking a refund of $9.64 from eBay since the package was not mailed and was returned to me. Once refunded, I will request the remaining postage cost from the buyer to proceed with sending the item.

I have not yet received my purchase, but I expect it soon. My issue with the seller is that I feel the listing was deceptive. I thought I was purchasing a diamond ring through the "Buy It Now" option. Although the seller mentioned "moissanite," they also used the term "diamond" throughout the listing. Not being an expert in precious stones, I didn't realize I was getting a stone inferior to a diamond until later. Upon consulting with retailers, they confirmed that using "diamond" for moissanite is misleading. I've contacted the seller to return the item for a refund, but the seller insists it was clearly a moissanite ring. I've offered to compensate for the return, but haven't received a clear response. I am ready to file a dispute through ebay if needed, but I hope we can find a solution.

Hi, this is Anna advertising the [redacted] Forest River Montecito 42C for sale. It is a well-maintained RV with full-service records and original paperwork, belonging to my late husband. Priced at $24,[redacted] and located in Sioux City, IA, it has 43k miles, 3 AC units, a king bed, and more. Due to my current disability, I've entrusted eBay to handle the sale. The process involves secure payment to eBay for holding, followed by free delivery to your location within 5-7 days. You'll have a 5-day inspection period before eBay releases the funds to me. If interested, please share your details for eBay to contact you. Thank you!

I purchased a NEW Limited Edition Jak and Daxter Trilogy Movie DVD for PS2 from a seller named asmithers4420adam. The item was initially priced at $75 US, but there was an issue with the shipping method. Despite contacting the seller to resolve this, they declined my purchase and relisted the item at a higher price of $[redacted] US. I repurchased the item and requested to change the shipping method and revert the price to $75. Although the shipping method was updated, the seller did not adjust the price. After completing the transaction with the original price, the seller unexpectedly canceled my order and informed me that they sold the item to someone else locally.

I purchased the NEW Limited Edition Jak and Daxter Trilogy Movie DVD PS* from seller "asmithers****adam" (item number: ************) for $** US. However, I was unable to pay due to the shipping method. After requesting a change and being declined, the seller relisted the item for $*** US (item number ************). I repurchased it, asked for the price to be adjusted back to $**, but only the shipping method was changed. On my final attempt, I successfully paid, but the seller canceled the order to sell it to someone locally. I am seeking assistance from Ebay to address this situation with the seller.

I bought an item, returned it on the last possible date due to traveling, and received this response: ______________________ Case #[redacted] Hello, Trisha, We apologize for the issue with your purchase. To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned within the specified timeframe after the seller accepts the return request. Unfortunately, the item wasn't returned to the seller on time. After carefully reviewing the case details, we have decided not to issue a refund. ______________________ The item was mailed on time. eBay received the returned item. I have not been refunded. eBay should not keep the item and my money. I am requesting a full refund of the item. If a refund is not possible, the item must be returned. This should go without saying. Sincerely, Trisha Silva

My account was compromised by another member on eBay, according to eBay's notification. However, my account now shows a 17.52% defect rate with 17.52 cases closed without a seller resolution, which is inaccurate. These issues were caused by someone else around August 25th, resulting in sales that are not mine. Despite speaking with eBay's representatives, including a manager, there has been no resolution yet. I urge eBay to rectify these errors swiftly as I am considering discontinuing my use of the platform both as a buyer and a seller. My username on eBay is "eric1941."

Hello! I go by the username kristaps1982 on eBay. Back on June 22, [redacted], I made a purchase for a Baofeng UV-5R Radio Portable with EU Adapter in black for £19.50. After the seller extended the delivery time, I reached out to them on October 19, [redacted]. Despite several attempts to communicate, I have not received the item or a refund. The seller keeps delaying and asking for more time, which has happened multiple times. They also request an additional week for the reimbursement, but I have yet to receive it. I am having trouble involving eBay through the website, as there are no options available beside the item in my purchase history. I appreciate any assistance.

On November 8th, I bought a SanDisk 128GB Ultra Micro SD HC Class 10 TF Flash SDHC Memory Card from the seller kendogg112121 on eBay. The day after my purchase, I received a message from eBay stating that the item I bought had been removed from the site. When I tried to track the item, I couldn't find any information, but I was expecting the delivery on November 16th by USPS. Unfortunately, the item didn't arrive, and when I checked the seller's profile, it seemed inactive. I am concerned that I may have been scammed as I only paid for a picture of the item. If this is the case, the seller should be banned from eBay immediately.

I accidentally placed an autosuggestion bid on item [redacted]10. The seller refused to cancel my order, so I decided to proceed with the purchase. However, when I tried to pay, I noticed that the shipping cost was $[redacted] instead of $3.5. I contacted the seller multiple times about this issue, but they never responded. I even have been a regular customer at their store. I want to pay for the item, but the seller has not made it possible for me to do so. What should I do in this situation? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I attempted to open a refund case, but it was submitted automatically before I could finish explaining the issue. The seller provided me with a lost or stolen phone that got blocked from the server, rendering it unusable. After the seller agreed to a full refund if I returned the phone, I complied. However, upon returning it without the original charger and earbuds, which I had used during the two weeks of usage before discovering the issue, the seller deducted $30 from my refund without justification. This deduction seems unfair, especially since the seller has now listed the phone for resale.
