Hi, my name is Romana Bak. I purchased an HTC Desire [redacted] 16GB white mobile phone on eBay recently. However, the phone is not functioning well, so I returned it to an individual in Leicester last week. I have been waiting for a refund for a week now. The mobile phone has not arrived at its destination in the UK, and I have not received my refund either. I have the tracking number NJ[redacted]04GB, which I can provide. I tried contacting eBay customer service, but the call got disconnected. Despite receiving numerous emails from eBay, they claim to have no record of the phone or the tracking number. I am in need of assistance and a refund. Thank you, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

I have decided to stop selling on eBay until they stop altering my listings to enable best offers and international shipping. It frustrates me to receive emails stating that my listings are now open to best offers. I put effort into pricing my items based on research and comparables, and my prices are fair or even lower than recent sales. I always have to deselect the best offer and international shipping options when I create a listing. It's tedious to remove them every time I make a revision. Now, eBay adds the best offer option back in if my items don't sell after a few weeks. Dealing with lowball offers from buyers who undervalue my items is not something I have time for. It's a hassle to constantly adjust my listings because eBay wants them a certain way. I am taking a break until eBay allows me to list my items freely without interference. Altering my listings without consent seems unethical. -Ryan

Regarding the Calvin Klein Belfast Nylon Messenger Crossbody Bag in Brown Logo/Gold Tone: I ordered this item on Oct. 11, [redacted]. According to USPS, the package was delivered, but to the wrong address. I have contacted USPS and filed a claim, which was rejected based on their records showing delivery. My neighborhood has a similar address just a block away where delivery mistakes have occurred before. The mail carrier mentioned that the resident there acknowledged receiving a package that wasn't his. Despite all this, I never received the package. I asked the eBay seller to escalate the issue to USPS, but they pointed out that according to tracking, the package was delivered to the correct address. I am aware that eBay provides insurance, and I have already repurchased the item out of necessity more than its value. The whole ordeal has been frustrating, especially given the upcoming holiday season. I am concerned about future purchases on eBay if delivery reliability is in question. A resolution, possibly in the form of an eBay credit, would be appreciated. I hope to prevent such mishaps from occurring again in the future.

I have not received the laptop I ordered and spoken with the seller but received no assistance. I would like a refund for this purchase. For future reference, the [redacted] number for the post office can confirm delivery. It might be helpful to visit your local branch to speak directly with the mail carrier who delivered the package, as they may have more insight than the call center staff. Kindly clarify if you are unable to assist me with this issue so I can proceed accordingly. Thank you, Gary Lakins. Item # [redacted]91, sold by Max Endo, is a Japanese Vintage Buddhist Bell that arrived damaged during transit from Japan to the US. Our case is still open as the seller is currently in the USA on vacation but will return to Japan next week. The seller has requested I apply for damages from the local US Post Office before they can reimburse me. However, the local US Post Office in Waynedale, Indiana, is unlikely to compensate me since I was the receiver, not the sender. The sender is responsible for insuring the item for loss or damage during shipping, not the receiver. I am seeking a refund as I am not responsible for the damage that occurred in transit. The seller is currently vacationing in the U.S. until November 14th. The item was poorly packaged in a flimsy paper envelope with minimal protection, as noted by the local US Post Office who documented the incident and took pictures of the damaged bell. I have informed the local US Post Office and they are awaiting communication from the Japanese Post Office for further investigation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Complaint Dear eBay, I recently discovered that my negative feedback on a purchase I made for an engine on September 19th had been removed without my knowledge. The seller failed to deliver the item on time as promised, causing me to lose money and credibility with my own client. I reached out to customer service for help, and they assisted me in opening a case to resolve the issue promptly. I feel that my negative feedback was warranted given the seller's actions. I am disappointed that eBay removed it without notifying me. Transparency in feedback is crucial for buyers to make informed decisions. I believe the seller took advantage of the system knowing the feedback could be deleted. This has left me feeling frustrated. I hope eBay can address this issue and provide clearer guidelines on when negative feedback is appropriate. Sincerely, N. B. (landi76uk)

Hi, my package is missing. The local carrier (Bpost) returned it to the sender due to the wrong Zip Code. Now, no one knows where the package is. The case has been closed. The seller provided tracking information indicating the carrier attempted delivery to my address. The item can be collected from the shipping carrier. After a review, no refund will be issued. You can find the case details below. eBay ensures privacy and security. Please refer to our user agreement and privacy notice. Be cautious of fake emails. We are here to assist you with any queries you may have. Thank you.

Hello, I listed my iPhone 8 Plus (item number: [redacted]51) on November 6, [redacted], for $[redacted].99. It was purchased almost immediately for $[redacted].00. I found it odd but didn't sense anything was wrong yet. However, the buyer then requested shipping to a nephew in Nigeria at an unregistered address, a common scam tactic. He claimed to have sent payment via PayPal along with an extra $[redacted].00 to rush the shipping, all signs of a scam. After I confronted the buyer, he went silent, and now I fear he might falsify information and open a claim against me. I have reported this to eBay Support by phone on November 7, [redacted]. They acknowledged the attempted fraud and assured me they have records of our communication and the buyer's details. I'm unable to cancel the order now due to the pending claim. My account username is "romane63", and my account email is "[redacted]" Thank you, J. Lawler

A buyer from overseas received my item from the UK and claims it is not working. Although I mentioned in my seller's notes that there could be minor defects and missing parts, he still wants to return it. I agreed to the return, but he needs to cover the shipping costs since the item was described as not new. Since he is located abroad, I am inquiring if the return can still be processed through your Global Shipping Program to minimize costs for both parties. Is it possible for him to only pay the courier fees in his country, charged at a domestic rate? The details of the item sold are as follows: Item number: #[redacted]98 Description: DS-2DF1-[redacted]-B HIKVISION ANALOG IR SPEED DOME CCTV CAMERA Price: £90.00 Quantity: 1

I encountered an issue with purchasing lights on eBay through DTM MOTORS in Germany. Upon picking up the lights from VAMA, they were held by ZOLL Hamburg for verification. After ZOLL Hamburg deemed the lights unsuitable, they were returned to the seller a month ago. I have contacted the seller regarding a refund, and they directed me to reach out to eBay. Can someone please assist me in resolving this matter and obtaining a refund? Thank you.

On October 24, I wrote a letter to eBay customer service detailing my situation. I received a response from "Do Not Respond," who said I would be contacted shortly. I am confused about the timeline for the term "shortly" as this matter should have been resolved already. I understand part of the process involves me reaching out to the shipper for a resolution. I want to clarify that I have been in constant communication with Perfume Empire, despite their potential denial. I have emailed them twice a week for months. They may be using the excuse that at the time of ordering, it wasn't clear the product doesn't ship to Costa Rica, where I reside. This fragrance was special to me as a personal birthday gift for my 70th birthday, a milestone not reached by many. When responding, please provide a real contact name instead of "Do Not Respond."

I placed an order on eBay, using my account [redacted], but now I wish to request a refund. I have realized that the seller provided misleading information regarding the item's shipment and delivery. The tracking number given is invalid, and the product actually came from China, not California as stated. I am dissatisfied with these discrepancies and demand a refund. I will not pay for the return shipping either. I prefer to work with sellers who are transparent about shipping locations and delivery times. Please process the refund promptly as I will be reporting this to eBay within 24 hours. My order is for a Smok Stick V8.

Seller: xiaguiqgin0_8 Return ID: [redacted] Item ID: [redacted]38 I received a pair of small shoes from the seller, and I promptly returned them on 27/07/18. I incurred a cost of more than £10 to send the parcel back. Since then, I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of a larger pair of shoes. Despite reaching out to the seller multiple times, I have not received the replacement. The tracker shows the parcel was allegedly delivered on 5/10/18, but I have no record of it at my local post office. I have asked the seller for details on the delivery, but I have received no response. The seller was unable to confirm if the address on the package was correct. It has been a long wait, and I am left without my shoes or a refund, even though I suggested the latter to the seller. The seller's message urging patience makes me question if they actually sent the parcel or if there is some deception at play. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter. Best regards, Iwona Kuzak

Hello, I recently purchased two car back lights from a seller named "milroysalvage." Unfortunately, the package did not reach my mailbox due to a postal issue. I contacted the seller multiple times suggesting I would pay for the reposting fee. After receiving no response, I opened a case with eBay (case #[redacted]). The case was closed with no refund. When I appealed, I was directed to speak with both an eBay and PayPal agent as my payment was made through MasterCard to the seller's PayPal account. The PayPal agent redirected me to eBay for resolution. I kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this matter or for the seller to provide a refund, deducting the posting fees. Thank you in advance.

I won an eBay auction today for the "Star Wars Chronicles Original Trilogy" book for $83.00 (Item ID: [redacted]11). However, after making the payment through PayPal, the seller informed me that there was an error in the listing and they cannot ship internationally. They are asking me to agree to cancel the transaction to refund my payment. I am wondering how the refund process works in this case. Should I accept the cancellation or insist that the seller honor the sale despite the mistake? If a cancellation occurs, how long will it take for the refund to be processed through PayPal? I appreciate any advice on how to proceed. Thank you.

I won an eBay auction this afternoon for the item "Star Wars Chronicles Original Trilogy Deborah Fine & Aeon [redacted] w/ Slipcover," totaling $83.00 with the Item ID: [redacted]11. However, the seller messaged me post-payment stating that they made an error and cannot ship internationally as listed. They're requesting to cancel the transaction. I'm unsure about the process - should the seller honor the original deal despite their mistake, or can they cancel and refund the payment? How long will it take to get the refund in my PayPal account? It's baffling that after many transactions, an error like this occurred. I feel frustrated as I expected to receive the item after winning the bid and making the purchase.

A month ago, I was searching for an item for my BMW and came across a site in Bulgaria. Although I didn't complete the order since I found a cheaper item from the same company, I successfully purchased the alternative and received it without any issues. However, the site I didn't finalize my purchase on in Bulgaria now keeps pushing me to buy the item, despite my numerous attempts to cancel it. I don't understand why a customer who didn't complete a purchase is being pressured to buy an item. I already bought the same product from the same company in the USA. I'm a fan of eBay and a loyal customer. Thank you.

I paid $[redacted].98 to an eBay seller named Sobeonline1 for a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 [redacted] GB SM-N9600 Factory unlocked 6.4 Snapdragon [redacted]. I opted for $22.99 for 1-day shipping on 11/7/18 and received a package on 11/9/18. I paid using my credit card. Unfortunately, the phone I received was not the one I ordered; it was an 8+. I contacted the seller on 11/9/18 but did not receive a response. I followed up with another message on 11/10/18, still with no reply. I am very distressed about this situation and desperately need my refund to purchase the correct phone that should have been delivered 4 days ago. I attempted to call the number on the eBay site, but it was unhelpful. This experience has caused me a lot of stress, and I am worried about recovering my money from this fraudulent seller. I hope someone can assist me in resolving this issue promptly.

Hello, I purchased a replacement display for my smartphone on August 18. The item I received was for a different model due to a mistake by the sellers. They promised to send me the correct one, but after more than two months and numerous emails, I still haven't received it. They suggest checking the local post office, but I am finding this difficult to do. Even after their assurance of contacting the post office, I have not received the shipment. I am now being asked to check with the local post office once again. I need the item delivered to my address and am unable to check at the post office. At this point, I prefer a refund as I am losing trust in their reliability. Thank you, Irakli
