I sold an item that then got lost, so I had to cancel the transaction. To compensate the buyer, I gave her a refund and **% extra as an apology, which I did as one payment through PayPal (so it was technically a payment, not a refund). But when I went to cancel the item, I was unable to cancel it without refunding the buyer AGAIN. I went through the cancellation instructions on the eBay help pages and it says the item is cancelled, but will eBay try to refund the buyer now that the item is cancelled?
